I’m really sorry that I came here during my stay in my Niagara. Like others noted in their reviews, the food is overpriced, lackluster and not on par with the theme of the restaurant. I ordered the $28 coconut shrimp platter, which came out hard and almost inedible. Definitely not worth the price as you can see from my photo. The also pricey taco salad is not worth it and basically just iceberg lettuce with tortilla chips and salsa. The worst part of my dining experience was the drinks. I wasn’t expecting to have drinks made with fruit syrups and artificial flavorings. We ordered the margarita tropical flight and each one tasted nothing like the actual fruit. Based on the name of the chain, my expectations were really high and I will likely never return. They also charge some kind of tourist fee here which made our outing that much worse.

Let me start off by saying I spent a total of two full hours in this restaurant, and not in a good way. Maybe I went on an off night, but the service was dismal. The restaurant was about ⅓ full. With this in mind, my party of four waited at the hostess stand for ten minutes before someone even came over to ask if we had been helped yet. We should have gone somewhere else at that point, but decided that since we had never been to a Margaritaville before, we wanted to stick around and try it. Once we were seated with our menus, it took at least 15 minutes for someone to come take our drink orders. The drinks were decent, and that is about the only positive thing I took away from this night. The Buffalo chicken poutine was mushy, and the onion ring tower was mostly stuck together. One of the burgers was cooked, but on the cool side like it had been sitting for a while, the rice in the jambalaya was mostly al dente, and we had asked for extra Buffalo sauce for the Buffalo burger, but received a mayonnaise sauce instead. We asked for two separate checks, and the food and drinks were mixed up between the two checks, we were told the charge for the extra sauce would be removed, but the server just walked away and took 20 minutes to come back to us before asking if we needed anything else, and then just handing us the credit card machine. Combined between four people, we spent nearly CA$250 on our meal. The owner/manager should really take a long, hard look at their place and see what they can do better, which, in my opinion, is just about everything.

Went to Margaritaville during our weekend stay at Niagara Falls. The place has great Margaritas; especially the Margarita flight which has 4 mini-size Margaritas of different flavours to try. Food is also decent and they serve great quantities so we were stuffed! Definitely will go back for drinks at least. The server at this place was so amazing! I was craving Spicy Margaritas and he was so kind to make me one even though they didn’t have it on their menu. He also made my margarita flight spicy on request!

Ordered the Fin’s to the Left Margarita, it was pretty good. Lava Lava Shrimp appetizer was fantastic with the shrimp perfectly fried. The Cheeseburger and in Paradise and the Rancho Deluxe Burger were standard burgers. We sat in the bar area so service was a little slow but it was not a big deal. It’s on the corner of the boulevard with outdoor seating, overall a good experience.

Come for the atmosphere, stay for the service. We had beach tacos, a grilled chicken ceased salad and a margarita flight. It was all quite good and served quickly. I would recommend the beach tacos - the tacos themselves had the perfect ratio of crunch to softness. The margaritas were great and they had a decent selection of other beverages. I’d recommend sitting outside but be prepared for some noise, as it’s quite close to the road and can be a bit loud. On a side note, the music played was interesting - I would’ve expected more jimmy buffet but I believe there was only one song by him! Oh whale.

Such an interesting decor! With great accompany, I won’t even feel like I’m in Canada! We ordered different drinks and the cups were to go, so we ended up roaming on the street with margaritas in our hands later on!! What a day!!

OMG I’m in love with this place! I wish it could be my watering hole every weekend! Can you move to Sydney? I loved everything, especially the margaritas! My hubby enjoyed the original and I did too! Loved the tasters plate of four different margaritas. Service was awesome! Loved my hostess! She quickly looked after us and kept asking if we were alright or needed anymore drinks! Loved my nachos as well. Great time was had by us in your outside seating! I’ll be back! I think, I drank them a tad too fast though! Lol 😂

Food and drinks were very good. Service was excellent. I did not get my favorite lava lava shrimp as they ran out of batter. Otherwise everything nice, nice location as well.

Horrible experience at this place. Firstly, the hostess told us it would be a 5 minute wait. It took about 15 minutes to get a table. Once we finally got seated, our server took about 10 minutes just to ask us if we want any drinks (NOTE: they do not have any beers on draught. Only tall cans). I ordered a beer and a glass of water. But the glass of water never came. $9.00 per tall can. Likes: Atmosphere, Location. Dislikes: Speed of Service, Quality of Service and incorrect wait estimates.

Food tastes so NOT fresh. Service is the only thing good in this place. Not clean. Cob webs and bugs are part of the atmosphere even after Halloween. Food is overpriced especially for the quality or lack of, of the food. Recommended to go else where. The vibe here is dull, unlike when it first opened. Alcoholic mixed drinks are also poorly made with immitation syrops. Not family friendly. On the plus side, the best thing about the restaurant is their Nachos and cheese. Also request not to pay the Niagara Falls sales tax. They add it to your bill....

Patio seating was awesome. Food was really good. But lava lava shrimp was not avsilable so had to order coconut shrimp instead. Gave 4 stars as coke refills are not free but server never told us.

Theme, decor and service was awesome! And reminds me of when we went to margaritaville in the islands! This spot puts out average food, but the drinks are amazing! And they also have the rooftop patio to get you into the Niagara mood! Gave this 4 stars for a couple reasons besides the food. First being service. The waiter and waitress are super attentive. The decor puts you in an island feel reminiscent of the islands. The drinks are pretty, but if you want it to take pictures, do not recommend going to the rooftop patios as they have no glass policy at the top, and rightfully so as it could cause potential dangers. But I would definitely come back to try out the margaraita flight! It looks super pretty in the pictures I’ve seen. The food, like I said is average and quite pricey for what you get, but this is the place to set up your night to be the watering hole in Niagara. Always love coming here as it’s always the place I stop at when coming to Niagara. Great job overall! Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!

My order was tasty but it wasn't overly filling. I left the restaurant still kinda hungry. I did like the atmosphere and my drink. For the price, not good value.

Very nice decorations and not a long wait to sit down. However waiter messed up my order and then served me raw fries, fish extra oily. Other dish was cold as well when first served. Not impressed with this place. Food took very long to come out and drinks are overpriced for lack of garnish.

Service was excellent. The gentleman who served the tables also was the bartender and made great Margaritas.

What a nice relaxing evening! Came here with my family for a late night drink and it was a perfect way to end the day. The service was slightly slow at first while waiting to order, but afterwards it was great. Our waitress Kait was so friendly and helpful! We had the pomegranate margarita and volcano nachos-absolutely delicious! Will definitely be visits again next time we come to Niagara Falls.

Everything about our dining experience was great! We had no wait, our food was delicious, the drinks were on point, and our server (Macy) was absolutely amazing!

Fantastic place to enjoy a few drinks 🍹🥃 as a couple or with friends; good attention from their workers and the food is very delicious and of excellent proportion. The atmosphere of the place is Caribbean (which meets the objective) and the view from the terrace towards the main street of Niagara is magical.

Good stuff: lots of different options. There are gluten free options from salads to nachos, to cheeseburgers (of course). The decor is great. The drink options are great. The service is great. They did cut some good options from the menu. The food is good but it used to be a bit better. Still a good option. Enjoy

We went Saturday night they had karaoke night, it was pretty fun! We bought a novelty cup and they fill it up with 3 oz of alcohol of your choice/drink, and the drinks are pretty amazing so it's always hard to choose what to have! I had a margarita to start, which was pretty tasty.. ans then had a Coco Cabana which I HIGHLY recommend! The type of drink that tastes like you're supposed to be on vacation on a beach somewhere and it's so delicious that you just drink glass after glass and it's just the deadly type of deliciousness :) We had the 3 amigos dip and chips (guac, queso, pico de gallo dips) was super tasty.. wait staff was great! Will definitely come back to this place!

I would give Margaritaville Niagara Falls a zero rating if it was possible. I stopped in here during a trip in May and ordered a meal that I've had at other Margaritaville's (this is a chain) - the Southwest Chicken Salad with no peppers, no avocado, and ranch instead of vinaigrette dressing - same way I always order it (waitress said it was ok to swap dressing). It was the worst salad I've ever had. It had big chunks of inedible salad root/core which should never be in a salad - started tossing them on the bread dish and then there were more at the bottom of the bowl (see the pictures). I mentioned it to both the guy and girl that were serving my table (why two people serving - who knows - it was very confusing - guy takes my drink order - girl brings it and takes my dinner order - guy brings my dinner - girl brings the check). When I got my receipt I noticed I was charged an extra $2 for ranch dressing. TWO DOLLARS! I asked to have that removed as I was told it was ok to swap out dressings when I ordered and nobody mentioned and extra $2 charge - I would have walked out when ordering if I was told that. At first she didn't want to remove it saying it was an "upcharge", then she said she'd go "talk to her manager". Keep in mind this was for a salad that was absolutely horrible. She came back and said the $2 was removed, slammed the portable credit card on the table and left. I don't know why she thought I would know what buttons I had to push to process the card, so I went to the bar where she and they guy were standing (there were very few customers in the place, no surprise in hindsight). By that point I was pretty upset. The girl waitress was pretty snotty and said oh most people don't want her to watch the tipping (yeah but most staff at other restaurants wait at the table so they can push the right buttons needed to fully process the transaction). At that point I said I wasn't going to tip anyway. Then after processing the transaction she was even more snotty and said "oh I see you are from the States so you'll never have to come back here again". Asked her how would she know how often I was in Niagara Falls and she went silent. I was so upset at that point I didn't notice until getting back to my hotel room that they had added an extra 6% "E.A.P.F. fee" to my tab, in addition to the 14% HST Tax. I called to inquire what that was and was told it was "to insure good service" - which I didn't get - and that everyone does it in that area (no they don't, I don't have it on any other receipt). So essentially they are including a tip and not disclosing it. So in my opinion they owe me the 6% tip I didn't want to pay, oh and also they owe me what what they saved by me NOT getting peppers or avocado on my salad! Don't eat here, the salads at the Table Rock Visitor Center Market looked way better and weren't as expensive!

Close to our hotel (Hilton). Nice atmosphere, and the music videos playing on the huge projection screen were not overly loud. Good job. We ordered the cheeseburger in paradise and it is mediocre at best. Obviously a premade frozen beef patty. The restaurant was not very busy, but the service seemed moderately slow. Took a while to get our drinks. The appetizer came out fast. The table next to us got a burger as well and received ketchup, mustard, plus salt and pepper. We only received ketchup and no salt and pepper. No refills offered on our drinks (water and tea). Obviously, a big part of the vibe was serving margaritas but I cannot comment on that. A lot of the reviews seem to say that the margaritas are on point.

Came here to grab a quick bite but we waited so long at the front for someone to assist us. When we were finally seated, the server was friendly and understood that we were short on time and got our food order in immediately. While the burger was delicious, the fish and chips tasted way too salty. The tar tar sauce was extremely runny and lacked flavour.

During an intermission in filming of the Canada's Got Talent Finale we decided to check out Margaritaville for a quick drink and eats. The service was great, the Margarita 🍹 was on point 👌 and the food (fries and salad) came out super fast! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the birds that would come and sit on the light string lol. Prices were crazy high though but I also don't get out that often (thanks inflation lol) so maybe its the norm now. Drinks were about 15$/each same as at the OLG stage and we figured we would save some money by eating out.. nope lol. All good though, great times! Definitely recommend!

It's my favorite chill spot on my trip, conveniently located close to the falls and our hotel. Vibe, price, and atmosphere were perfect. Bartender was knowledgeable and made great suggestions for drinks,ps. I'm not a fan of alcohol but he made it just perfect for me.

Had an absolute wonderful late lunch. Our waitress was amazing. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Can't wait to go back. We went 3 days in a row while on our mini moon and best decision we ever made. The waitresses get people and just want to have fun while doing an amazing job.

Great atmosphere. Food is great and big volume!! We understand that this location is middle of the tourist area. But pricing was super expensive for Mexican food! (I had Taco salad.$28!! If you go to Taco Bell, probably $5. Large margarita is also $28!!)

Super pricey in my opinion though being in Niagra Falls that is to be expected. Land Shark Margarita is 6 stars. Food is bar food. One goes to say they went. Would definetly stop in for a drink on my next visit though I would leave the eating for another spot Found it odd they were playing pop music instead of Jimmy Buffet music. Appeared to be very short staffed and those working did a 6 star job of taking care of way to many people for the number of staff working

Really loved the vibe of this place. As a solo traveller I popped in for a drink on a warm day and was greeted by Eli who made me feel so welcome with his conversation and smile. Stayed for food and drinks but had the hospitality of Eli as a bonus. Will definitely be visiting your other sites in the US where I hope there are more Eli's. Thank you for a great visit, not only to Eli but to all the bar staff I had the pleasure of meeting

Don't read into me not liking it too much. I didn't really want to go in the first place but it's where we ended up. I was told the margaritas were okay but I didn't order one myself. I ended up splitting a plate of nachos and they were decent. Not the best not the worst. I found that many of the chips didn't have anything on them because they didn't layer the toppings.
