I should have chosen another Ihop location. I chose this one so my brother can experience dine in with falls view but then after we went up and saw how overpriced this place is I kind or regretted my decision. I hop is my favorite breakfast restaurant and I can not count how many different locations I have tried. Taste wise this location was the worst. So I am disappointed. If you want the view yeah you can go there , but if you are craving for IHop food like I did just don't try here.

Visited this IHOP location as I had a discount voucher. The restaurant is located on the 26th floor. After arriving and was about to be seated I was told I had to go back to the lobby and check in with another staff who I passed on my way up. My husband went back to check in with her and she just directed him to a separate waiting area. While I waited for my husband to return 3 out of 5 ppl were sent back downstairs in the lobby to check in. When we finally got a table the wait staff took about 15 min to even acknowledge us. The only great thing about the restaurant is the view. For the money you pay the service should be way better. We paid over $100 for just egg white omelets and a small fruit salad. The breakfast is forgetable. I do not recommend this restaurant. There are way better breakfast placed in Niagara with much better service.

Avoid, other than a great view, extremely overpriced. Despite appearing overstaffed and only half full, the service was slow, refills and bill all had to be asked for multiple times. Breakfast for 2 was just over $89.00 CAD. Restaurant appearance was rundown, needs a refresh. Multiple people around us complaining about price. Doubling the portion size (and presentation) of fries, bacon and pancakes, would cost roughly $2.50 in food costs for the two plates and would pay dividends in reviews.

    - Menu overpriced: omelet for 25 usd? 😱 cheese burger for 11.99? - Food tastes bad - Service needs to improve - The carpet is too dirty and sticky - Wonderful view of Niagara Falls - Free Parking (August 1st, 2022) If you want a beautiful view of the Falls, come here, take your picture and find a better place to eat. Definitely, not the same experience as the US locations.

Sweet baby Jesus! This. Place. Breaks. The. Bank. The view and staff were just great but my lord for two people to eat at an ihop to be well over $100 is insane! We had steak and drinks at the keg falls view for far less. Don't do it! Go literally anywhere else we could've stayed a night in the hotel its located in for cheaper than our bill literally we checked same day in the tower hotel was $119 our bill was $123 I N S A N E

Great "experience"!! Of course, the prices are very inflated. But, you're paying for the spectacular views and experience, not the food. It just so happens that the food is from IHOP! But if you think about it this way, we didn't need to visit the Skylon Tower because we got the views with this experience. So, in reality, even though we spent more for food here, we ended up saving money because we didn't do the Skylon! I definitely recommend it - good food, great experience!

The perfect views of Niagara Falls are guaranteed in this restaurant. The food is good and served fresh - surprisingly to my other experience with ihop. They also have us a table located right in front of the falls although we didn’t have a reservation. It’s also very close to the falls if you want to go there and they have a free shuttle bus to the free parking that comes in 5 minutes once you request it.

Our server Johnny deserves 10 stars! Friendly, efficient, and excellent sense of humor. The view gets 5 starts. The price gets 3 stars. For eggs Benedict and two pancakes it cost $75.75.

The food was pretty good, the view was great. Like many reviews say - yes, this location is overpriced. However, this is with all IHOP locations in Niagara. The prices don’t really make sense, coffees and drinks are particularly expensive. This is more of an issue with the chain and not this specific location. If you’re going to go to IHOP in Niagara, this is a really solid location. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The service was quick. The view was great. I don’t have any complaints, generally, about my experience. The eggs, meat are nothing special. I really liked the potato, as it was really buttery. The pancakes and those types of items are also very good!

Came for the view. Service is great, food is good. Most tables are next to the windows, there's a good chance of getting one of those if your party is 4 or fewer. It can get warm during the day after sitting next to the window for a while, a milkshake will help with that :)

Overprice like almost review said. The food was ok, but the pancake is really fluffy and enjoyable to eat! Coffee is not included though. The view can worth the price or else, you can find a better restaurant for pancake and eggs.

The views are unreal from this restaurant. Been here often, the breakfast is average but you are pretty much there for the view or there’s a Starbucks next door. Samantha was kind to get us a table by the windows.

2022-Sept, party of 3, noon, on a Sunday afternoon. We walked from Embasy Suites. The restaurant was on the 26th floor. We got seated right away on the window side overlooking the falls. Our server came right away, got our drinks order. Few minutes later she took our main order. Our orders came quickly. The food was ok. The crepe was a little bland. The hot chocolate was rich and good (better than the stateside's)! Our server checked on us a couple of times. 2 breakfast dishes and 1 kids meal, extra side orders of bacon and plain pancakes. Bon Appétit!

Do yourself a favour! Don't go here. There is a reason the place isn't packed like it should be. Minimum $30 for a simple.breakfast. $5 swamp water coffee. If you do decide this is the place for you to have a nice view of the falls like I thought make sure to get the money grab tourism tax taken off your not obligated to pay it. A company charging $30 for 2 eggs and bacon should have some morals and automatically remove it. Walk down the road 5min and get two e the breakfast for 75% less

If it wasn't for the view I would have given a 1 star review! Service was good but.. the price was unbelievable. Got the breakfast sampler, $32.99!! Food was terrible. Definitely would expect better quality for the price your paying!!

You don't go to this restaurant for the food. You go there for the view. The food just happens to be IHOP. Yes, it is pricey, but then how many times in your life will you get a similar experience? 40 CAD + tip + tax for a standard breakfast meal and coffee seems like a fair price to me. The Skylon tower already charge 18 CAD + tax for just the view. So, I would rather spend that money while eating a petit déjeuner.

The most expensive breakfast of my life I have eaten here, the super high prices, apparently they charge for the view of the place, a breakfast: quesadilla, orange juice, coffee and some chicken strips 121 CAD, we were 6 people and in a breakfast we spent 800CAD it’s crazy.

This iHOP restaurant is located at the top of the tower hotel. When you stay at embassy suites they give 20 dollar voucher to be used at iHOP for breakfast. You can claim the voucher at this restaurant. Niagara falls view is breathtaking. To be honest, prices are not worth at all. In simple terms you find double price for each and every meal you usually order at other iHOP restaurants. It’s mainly because of the view and Niagara falls being a tourist destination. You will pay around 90 dollars per 2 people. It costs me around that much for these food. Anyways I would recommend this place if you are in love with the niagara falls view and you don’t mind spending that much for breakfast once in a while.

Came here for dinner because the kids wanted breakfast. We had the place to ourselves for most of our meal. The food was typical ihop with a pricetag befitting the view and location. Our server was very friendly, quick, and helpful with recommendations for things to do and see not waterfall related. The food was good, our drinks stayed refilled and we had an amazing view of the falls! Best ihop I've been to.

It's great for special occasions as prices differ by $ 5+, you can see both the falls and it's amazing. Went here for breakfast for my husband's birthday

We had the pleasure of dining at IHOP on the 26th floor by the falls, and it was an unforgettable experience. The view alone is worth the visit, but what truly made it special was our fantastic waiter. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and made our meal even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the combination of great service and a stunning backdrop made this lunch one for the books. I can’t recommend IHOP at this location enough!

Nice view of the falls. This is a PREMIUM priced IHOP. Food was good, as expected from IHOP. Server was friendly. Price wise, you’ll be paying double or even x3 compared to the normal IHOP branches. Accessible location, only has 1 washroom.

The food was ok, nothing special, I can get the same quality at any diner or truck stop if not better. The prices for the serving you get are insane. I realize I'm in niagara falls, it should not cost $80, after $15 voucher, for 2 breakfasts. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, so that's a plus, and the view was pretty good for a rainy day.

Stayed at the Hilton Embassy Suites and chose the IHop because of the heavy crowds eating at the hotel. We were seated right away and the friendly waitress took our orders. Seated within range of the Falls, I was able to get a few nice shots through the window. Food came quickly but was bland and bacon not cooked all-the-way through. Adding salt and pepper did not help too much, but the coffee was delicious. The other reviews that mention the expensive cost of breakfast are correct as it is for the other restaurants we ate at with a whopping 13% tax!!!

4 pancakes, 3 bacon, 4 eggs, 2 toast, 2 sausage, 1 French toast, 2 teas, and a chocolate milk for $119 tip in. I have never spent so much on a breakfast in my life. The location is tiny but not crowded and was very cold temperature, having to keep my coat on while eating. Staff were very friendly and the place was clean. Obviously you are paying for a view with these prices because the meal was standard IHOP. If you want a view while you eat then this is an amazing spot. Next time I will invest the $119 into attractions and get Tims.

The atmosphere is very overrated. There are very limited seats with actual view of the wall, maybe 1/5 seats will face the falls. Parties of 5 don't have enough room as it's a 4 person table with an extra chair. The food is ridiculously overpriced. Please do not go here. If you really want to eat by the falls, just get pizza and eat near the benches by the falls. Not worth it. Another annoying thing, they take forever to give you food, we waited about 45 min for 3 pancake dishes.

You’re paying for the view, been to IHOP many times we knew exactly what to expect eating at IHOP Expecting to pay a good amount for the food because of the location

  • 5/5 Vijay T. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing experience. Don't understand all negative reviews, coming from Toronto we were used to higher prices on food. $30 for 1 meal with melt in your mouth pancakes is a great deal. View was superb and waiter Johnny offered our beverages for free as a birthday gift. Only downside was the floor is tilted so it's a bit unsettling but nonetheless a great time overall. Would definitely go back
