Food was fine. Won’t be going back or suggesting this restaurant to anyone. Service was terrible. We waited 2hrs for our food. Never got a refill on our drinks until we asked as she gave us our check. Waitress came over around the hour and a half mark and said that one of the cooks walked out and that it was going to be awhile before we got our food. We were understanding and asked for a timeframe to try and gauge if we should bail and go some where else. Manager never stopped over to explain or offer us any apologies. Waitress gave us 10% off our bill. Abysmal effort to try and make things right.

After visiting the rapids, we stopped for a late lunch. That was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The roll was crispy and the meat was cooked perfectly.

Went for a late lunch, nothing special. I think this would be a fun place for Happy Hour or to watch a game (lots of tvs but extremely poor quality picture on them). People hyped the burgers but we've had better elsewhere.

Yall, if you’re in the area, this is a must stop! Lydia made sure we were well taken care of! Such attentive service and YUMMY food! Burgers were perfection along with the pretzel appetizer! We will be back and asking for Lydia!

We were in Lewiston to catch a show at Artpark but we needed to grab some dinner first. We chose Cask and Cow based on reviews and the delicious sounding menu. We were not disappointed. Upon arriving we noticed that there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, always a plus. We were then greeted by a staff member who seated us promptly and got our orders in. We were pleased to see that they have a nice big menu, lots of cocktails and specials. I started with a Paloma because, why not? It was delicious and not too sweet, a perfect summer drink. For our meals we figured we had to try their burgers because there were so many and the combos all sounded outstanding. First of all the burgers on their own were delicious! Perfectly cooked and seasoned and the right amount of generous toppings. My significant other picked the hot tempered Elvis which he said had such a good combo of cheddar, caramelized banana, bacon, jalapeños and peanut butter! He said the salty and sweet with a little kick of jalapeño was unique and perfect. He added that even the roll was delicious and way above average. I tried La mucca and it was wonderful. The mozzarella, prosciutto, roasted red pepper and arugula were the perfect light Italian inspired toppings for this yummy burger. It was nice that they can accommodate vegetarians and gluten free diets with menu substitutions. They also had sweet potato fries so it was an all around win. Great service and decent prices rounded out a great dinner. When we come back to Lewiston we will absolutely go back.

food is always great but the service is just sub par. 1st time ever i didn’t leave a tip and i felt guilty but there was no way to justify it. not busy at all for a friday evening, waitress took drink order and the disappeared. my wife had to ask another waitress to order our food. 1 hour later a burger and salad appeared. never saw a waitress again, no drink refills, no asking if we needed anything. its a shame because the food is good and near drive but cannot deal with that “who cares, lazy service mentality “. will give my business elsewhere

We've ordered burgers through takeout and decided to try it in person. We were VERY disappointed. Service was very lacking but that could be because there was only one person working as the host, waitress, food runner, takeout server, etc. With several tables it seemed she was struggling. The bartender was new and the server told us from the start that the drinks might not be right so to let her know and she'd have them remade. Drinks weren't really that great but we cut our losses and kept them. The Buffalo Chicken Flatbread was good. Ordered salads as appetizers but the server brought them with our meals. My husband's burger was OK but the Grilled Salmon definitely was not grilled and was horribly overcooked to the point that it was black on the edges (burnt/charred, not blackened). The server didn't offer to remake the salmon but told me to pick something else off the menu. Since they were busy, it took about 15 minutes to get the replacement, which I only had a couple of bites of before we had to leave. Might consider takeout from here in the future (for burgers only) but definitely won't be back for an in-person visit!

Enjoyed a casual night out at the Cask + Cow. It was our first time there and it was a perfect stop for our last day in Niagara Falls area. I was torn on which burger to choose, but ended with a unique Elvis inspired Hot Tempered Elvis burger. It was juicy, flavorful and a perfect mix of fun. My wife ordered a salad which also looked delicious and she enjoyed with a cocktail. Overall I’d say it’s a perfect bar style mix with steakhouse feel and a great choice for American cuisine.

We had a graduation party of 8 with a reservation and we’re treated and sat promptly. We did not see our waitress for 30min after we got barely enough water for the table, minus 1 person who didn’t get a glass. It then took about her 30 to get out luke warm appetizers and food came out 10 min later. Unsweetened iced tea was not unsweetened, we had to ask for more water, the burgers were warm, again, food sitting too long in the kitchen, the chicken on the salad was so tough it was a complete waste. Our server was less than happy to be working and the place wasn’t even busy, most tables cleared out right after we arrived. We will never be back.

Great food, terrible, terrible service. I kept feeling like I was going to see a camera crew come around the corner following Gordon Ramsey screaming at people to clear tables or take care of the ignored guests. We came from out of town, lured by the restaurant's good reviews. It is an attractive place with cool upbeat vibe. Despite having reservations, we waited in a line for about 30 minutes to even speak to the hostess. There were many open tables, but none of them were cleared for unknown reasons. Once seated, we were promptly ignored for 20 minutes, with no drinks, not even water, not even a simple greeting acknowledging the long wait with a promise to return soon. After finally arriving, the server took our drink order and disappeared for another 15 minutes. How long does it take to pour 4 beers? Eventually we got the beer, in 3 different deliveries - does this restaurant not have trays? The waitresses all carry only one thing at at a time, maybe 2 - seems very inefficient. She said she would bring water but did not. Food finally arrived and it was amazing - fries are perfectly crispy and moist and fluffy on the inside, onion rings might be the best I have ever had, burger was cooked to perfection and was seasoned wonderfully, but no one even came to check that it was ok, that is one of the most basic service standards! Never did get any water, I had to steal a bottle from another table! I am not sure if it was because it was an art park night and the servers were overwhelmed? The ambience and food would tempt me back, but the service would have me searching for other options if I were to visit Lewiston again.

The Cask and Cow has been the meeting place for the Lewiston-Niagara On The Lake Rotary Club for some two years now. Occasionally, the Club celebrates “special events” and requests meals not on the menu. This Valentine day was just such an event. Chef Ben prepared an outstanding meal for the members highlighted by his “special bread pudding!” Additionally, Grace, our super server, was most attentive to all our needs and presented Chef Ben’s culinary creations efficiently and with a warm smile! Overall experience was excellent!

My husband & I has a great experience. We both had Friday fish fry, beer battered & baked Cajun. Although they did not have a baked potato, the meals were excellent. We even enjoyed the french fries. We will definitely return.

Good food, good service and good location. Crab cakes were a lil under done for my tastes. Tasted okay. The dill Flatbread was very interesting. Unique for sure. Had the chef special burger but, forgot to take a pic. Bri and cranberry burger. Very good 👍 👏

We were intending to go to another restaurant stumbled onto this restaurant by accident. I'm glad we did. The food was awesome and service was good. Might be a little high in price but it's definitely worth every penny!!! I highly recommend!!!

Unless you haven't eaten all day, hold off on the appetizers. The food is amazing and you will be getting plenty of it. The house made chips that came with the burger were perfectly seasoned and fried. Huge selection of adult beverages and a incredibly proficient/friendly staff.

This restaurant was so good! A good selection of beers on tap. Lots of great food choices. I had an awesome brie and peach burger! The homemade chips were good too. My friends also really enjoyed their burgers. And my friend was able to get a vegetarian friendly black bean alternative. The truffle fries and onion rings were also very good! When you're in town for Art park stop by for dinner first!

The service was slow, but everyone was very nice. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. I am a very picky eater so it is hard for me to like most foods. The burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The ONLY PROBLEM was the slowness.

We had to sit by the door and it was windy and cold. But the food was good and our server was fully of energy and personality.

Service was great and so was the food. Get the Texas Corn Fritters. We finished them before taking a picture. Go and taste them for yourself.

We ordered 5 different appetizers to split and every single one of them tasted amazing. Highly recommend the dill pickle flatbread- you won’t regret ordering it!

Edit: Just noticed the comment from manager/restaurant and love the fact they take the time to engage with customers. Also, I want to somewhat amend my comment on price. As I realize costs at this point as well as changing times throughout pandemic, these are things to take into consideration. Realistically you can't get a meal at a drive thru for less that $10 and the quality is... what you expect. At least at brick and mortar, locally owned businesses with known high reputation you know you're getting what you pay for. Also, while the menu items I mentioned below are no longer available I ventured out and tried their pepper dip and it is hands down the best dip I've had regionally. Also, for the extra couple dollars for extra pita, they LOAD YOU UP! thank you!!! :D Ordered takeout here one night. Was right on cusp of being too late but since I was ordering three appetizers they were super accommodating and assured me they would always be as well. Was a bit pricey, almost $40, but the portions were fair and the food was good. Will definitely return and it’ll be sort of my occasional special treat, especially the Buffalo cauliflower and asparagus!!!!! Also good to know veg options, although I’m not vegetarian many of my friends are.

Such a great experience here - perfect brew pub / gastro pub... Tons of tasty suds on draft, quick cheerful and attentive service (Thanks Emma!), crispy tender wings were just the right size, a broad but not overwhelming selection of menu items, both of our burgers were perfectly cooked and super delicious. Protip: If you go with the "Angry Cow" spicy burger, I was grateful to have the "Fiery Habanero" sauce on the side - chef is not playin' and a little goes a long way. Almost makes me want to come back next February for another winter hockey tournament off season in Niagara Falls! ;-)

Amazing burgers and chips - even the gluten free buns! Would love to give 5 stars but feel prices are too high on "extras" ($2 for broccoli but you take away the chips too? $2 for a GF bun?), turning a hamburger (lettuce and onion only) with chips and a pickle spear into a $20 cost.
