😠 We went in at 10pm for a late nite dinner. We were seated quickly and the restaurant wasn't overly busy. We had to walk out after 20 minutes of waiting as nobody came by to take our order or even acknowledge us. We walked. Horrible. If we could give zero stars we would. Awful experience here on Sunday July 31, 2022. We will never return to this location again. First of all we waited 45 minutes just to get in the door, even though we saw multiple people leaving and many empty tables. As we were waiting multiple people came out complaining about the food wait time as well as food quality issues. We should have left then. Upon being seated we were told it will take an hour to get our food once ordered. We were so hungry and had already invested 45 minutes of our night waiting in line so we agreed to stay. We ordered the childrens chicken fingers for our son and when they finally came out the chicken was pink and raw. (See below picture). Additionally his plate was dirty, slathered with some sort of sauce that wasn’t part of his meal. Absolutely disgusting. My wife ordered the fried chicken which was supposed to come with mashed potatoes. It came out with fries. When we asked the manager he said that’s because they were out of mashed potatoes. Why wasn’t that explained while ordering or during the hour we waited for our meals? My wife would have chosen a different menu item. The Caesar salad was absolutely inedible with watered down salad dressing that was almost non-existent. All three meals arrived cold. We would have loved salt or pepper to add some sort of flavour to our meals but the waitress never came back once to check in. We didn’t have napkins or cutlery until 15 minutes after we received our food after chasing someone down. The manager offered no compensation for anything and when the bill came they had the nerve to charge extra for a Caesar salad when my wife couldn’t eat half of her meal because they didn’t tell her about not having mashed potatoes and she can’t eat fries. This location is horribly managed and the kitchen needs some training on how to cook food appropriately and to proper temperatures. What a disgrace.

Had a rather unfortunate experience with this Montana’s and wish I did some research for dinner in the area first…. To start they had brought us out the incorrect appetizer, then when my dinner arrived the chicken salad I ordered had no chicken…. Literally NO chicken…. Then when the second appetizer we had ordered came out it was already long after dinner was served…. The server was nice enough but it really didn’t make up for the overall terrible experience that took far too long for a bill that wasn’t worth the expense given the poor quality of food and service. Highly suggest as a family to try another restaurant in the area to get your time and money’s worth.

We got to Niagara late and did not do any research for restaurants for that night. When we saw Montana's figured we couldn't wrong. Never had a bad meal at a Montana's before. Husband ordered the burrito bowl which reminded him of the frozen rice bowls, still edible. I ordered the ribs and wings tasters. Looked good. Ribs were good, fries were luke warm. I could live with that. It all went very wrong when I bite into a wing, cut into another one with the same result. Needless to say I didn't eat another thing. I did mention it, my food was comped and offered a desert on the house which we declined. Can't ask for fairer than that. Staff were lovely, although they were under staffed. Only saw two. Although my food was comped which is great, I would rather have had a meal I paid for and could eat. Wait staff I would happily give 5 stars too. I would in reality give this restaurant 1 star, I have given three purely for the staff.

Decent food at reasonable prices. Presentation could use an improvement. Server offered the bill before I was finished eating, even though the restaurant wasn't full. CAA membership will get you 10% discount.

My group was seated after a minute or two by a Siberian worker (didn’t catch his name) and from there I knew our experience there was going to be amazing. I only came to realize that was an understatement after Sam, our waitress went above and beyond for us. Her positive attitude and care she gave my group made our night, and was one of the highlights of our trip up to Niagara Falls. The food was delicious and their long island iced tea, cotton candy sangria was excellently made. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for food, drinks and service that goes beyond any expectations.

We have visited many Montana's locations throughout the years and enjoyed ourselves. I truly believe its this location in Niagara Falls (at Clifton Hill, super busy location). My review is based on this spot only. We were originally offered at a large circle table (2 adults and 2 kids under 5) which is pretty problematic as kids don't sit still in chairs, especially since the table was in the middle of the restaurant. We asked if we could have a booth (not a big deal as many were open) so we can sandwich the kids against the wall. The hostess immediately rolled her eyes and then showed us to a booth. Which then I feel like we were punished for it as we waited for about 20 minutes before anyone came by to get our drink order. The floors were absolutely dirty, it looks like no one has swept in days. There was energy drink cans on the floor, the salt shaker was so sticky. We were there on a 30+ day and the AC was pumping at first it was nice, but then you basically froze to death as they cant control the temperature. Our food did come promptly after our order was taken but it was completely thrown together. We ordered the firecracker burger which at other locations had crispy onions and jalapenos it came out as a regular bacon and cheese burger. Do not go, there are lots of other options to eat near this location.

Wouldn't Return A fairly average fare with decent food, however the wait times were extraordinarily long at over 1 hour (which is both good and bad: fresh and not stale). Ribs: NGL not bad - saucy and wasn't tough or chewy. Nothing too special to write home about, and indistinguishable from supermarket ribs. Generous serving of fries, beans look better than the mash. Expect $30+pp Please follow @trebzheng for more Toronto and travel eats :)

The food was very good. Unfortunately the service was not. We had to ask for water, plates, refill of water. We didn't get celery or carrots and blue cheese dip with our wings we ordered. Service was very slow for an empty restaurant. We also ordered 2 glasses of Sangria. It probably would have tasted good if the glass wasn't 3/4 full of ice. We even had to walk over to the bar to ask for the bill and to pay.

I have to give a "0" rating for both the Service and Food. Party of two early evening. The place was not full. We were seated very quickly, but waited about 20 before even asked for drinks. Guests entering after us were served first. Waited at least another half an hour after before taking our order. Then waited some time before receiving our meal. We had to ask for cutlery as none was provided. After waiting that long for our meal the steak was dry and tasted like cardboard, also the backed potato was dry even with butter (that would not melt) and sour cream. This was the case for both meals. I did mention to the waitress my concerns but nothing was done. I am glad that my local Montana's is a great place to dine. I would not recommend this location to anyone!!!!!!!!!!

I’m so disappointed with the food and service in Montanas the niagara outlet. Worst steak ever tasted in my life. I have travelled across world and has dreams of different kinds and my always favourite is medium rare with a pink mid. The steak was overcooked not at all juicy. The portion was so less according to price they charge. I had heard a lot about montanas but I guess I tried the worst outlet. They don’t know how to serve a customer. This is my restaurant in Canada we’re I have zero tip. Yes I dint give cause I hated my 1 hour I spent there. After that the chef comes and says we will give you new steak. I dint accept it and to that they gave me only 15% off my steak. Ridiculous. Very poor hospitality I’ll say. Only the ambience is good. Not recommended at all.

Very good food. All : stake , Ribs, fajitas and chicken from the chef were tasty. The ambiance was in a cowboy style. The staff was very nice. Some parts of restaurant do not have air conditioning-go at the end of the hall to have some fresh air. Overall-recommended to visit.

Don't waste your money! I feel horrible for the staff that have work in those conditions. Obviously, there is bad training by owners and corporations. Corporate greedy at is finest. This location had sticky floors. The booths were ripped and full of holes, paint coming off the walls and doors. The food was cold after sending it back, but it still came back cold. This location ran out of ketchup....yup that's right ketchup! Worst restaurant experience ever!

The staff was very nice. The kitchen was slow with the orders and the staff apologized multiple times and offered salsa and nacho and drinks to make up for it. Liam and Mohamed gave us top tier customer service the entire time. The food and drinks were also good.

I went in 2021 summer. Just found a picture I took, hence the review now. We had to wait for almost 30-40 mins but it was understandable as we noticed they were short staffed and the lunch hour was yet to begin. We noticed people come in , wait, argue, get mad, leave. But we stayed patient and finally got seated. We had amazing server. Food was hot and delicious. I had some food restrictions and they accommodated without any negativity. We went in ona busy weekend afternoon in peak summer. Thank you.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant... We waited 15 minutes for a server to see us, and another 15 for our drinks to arrive and one was forgotten. We waited about 40 minutes for our food, people who came in after us were served first, and the food was not good when it got there. Most of it was barely warm, and my chicken was burnt. The waitress was nice but it just wasn't enough to make up for the absence, the long wait, and how overpriced it was.

On the 1st, we arrived in a group of 5 people. the wait time was short, and we were quickly seated at a table. it kinda went downhill from there though. two of my friends arrived earlier than us, and had ordered drinks first. after we were able to order ours too, our drinks had arrived, but my friend who had arrived earlier didn't get her drink until a bit later. it wasn't so bad, but odd since it was the same drink as ours. then we went to order. It took a bit, but eventually all of our food arrived, except for one dish that was supposed to go to a friend. he ordered the buttermilk fried chicken. By the time we were finished our food, my friend finally got his dish. They had to substitute veggies with fries, even though there were already mashed potatoes on his plate. we weren't informed beforehand that they were going to do this, nor that they didn't have the proper ingredients. We also found a random shrimp that wasn't a part of the meal. Not to mention, they forgot the cornbread with it. We still decided to order dessert nonetheless. We got the chocolate chip cookie in a skillet pan with ice cream on top (pictured below). We took one bite into it... and it was spicy. Especially if you scraped the bottom. I will say the food we did eat was mediocre at best. I ordered the brisket burger with fries, and it was okay. The bacon gave it most of it's flavor. the drinks were good. I remember particularly enjoying the ice tea mix—though the name escapes me. Some mushrooms were served too at some point, and while they tasted fine, it's nullified by the fact that they weren't cooked properly and salted enough. TL;DR Wouldn't recommend anyone coming here. some food and drinks came late, they substituted a part of a meal without communicating there were issues, and our dessert was spicy. The best part about this place was the drinks, but it's not worth the messy communication between the servers and kitchen.

We had an amazing experience at Montana’s BBQ in Niagara Falls. Our server, Kunal, was exceptional! He was extremely kind, he has great energy, always had a smile on his face checked on us and listened to our concerns. Every server should be like him! Thank you for making our experience and my birthday great to spend at Montana’s!

Worst ribs ever. Was excited to get ribs because it seemed that’s their specialty. Well. The ribs were so dry. Seemed that they cooked them a couple days ago and warmed them up. They did take over an hour to get as well. Don’t order the baked beans unless you want almost baked bean soup. So watery, not good. Don’t understand how a chain restaurant can be so terrible. You would think that there would be a process that should be followed. Don’t waste you money here.

We went here on November 4th at 10:40PM. Our experience wasn't pleasant. Despite being the only table in there, we felt quite ignored. The bartender was our server and was more interested in chatting with regulars at the bar. It wasn't busy. There was five people at the bar, and one table with two people. The other server was taking care of that table. There was a big table in the back, but according to the hostess they already paid and were leaving. The emptiness of the restaurant had us believe we would have attentive service. Our table was very sticky when we got there. I would have put napkins down for my arms but there were none. It took 10 minutes to bring us our water, and our table was right beside the bar. We received our food with no cutlery. As soon as we tried to say something the bartender already spun around and tried to leave. Just dropped the plates and ran. We waited for him to check on us for five minutes so we could ask for cutlery and he never did. We had to walk up to another server and ask for it. The fries that came with the burger were soggy. I picked up on fry from the poutine with my fingers before we got cutlery. It was cold and inedible, also soggy. Again, we were never checked on. We even pushed our food to the side and he never got the hint that we had enough. We stood up by our table and flagged him down as he was walking and he finally came over and I told him about the poutine. He replaced it. The replaced poutine was extremely hot, steam coming off of it and it burnt my mouth. Maybe the kitchen thought they made it the correct temperature the first time. It really goes to show how a server whether amazing or terrible can easily affect your experience.

It was busy the wait was long but I’m here to give our server credit. Abby!!! You my friend are a star we don’t know each other outside of meeting just once last night but your service was amazing you were funny learned some bad words in a different language from us and when the food was taking forever you came over to let us know what was happening. You made it that much better and we told you this. Fun times and great memories were made. To the owner the prices here were way like way better then the Apple one I don’t want to reveal which one I’m referring too. Thank you!!!

Excellent choice of lunch or dinner place if you are looking for prime rib or steak. They are well priced and food quality is on par with other "fastfood" style steakhouse. No expect very fancy meat but not bad either. Definitely can stand out in a bunch of Niagara restaurants near Clifton Hills. No parking lot near the restaurant so you'll have to find parking first and walk there. It's at the top of Clifton Hills and easy to spot. If next time come here will try their steak as well.

Like the other reviews say… don’t come here if you’re not willing to wait. I came on the weekend which was my mistake, Clifton hill was insanely busy as usual, and this place was no exception. I didn’t have to wait longer than five minutes to be seated which was a nice surprise compared to the neighboring restaurants. Drinks were quick to arrive but the food took at least 45 minutes. I was starving and I don’t think I have ever waited that long for a burger and fries before. Our server, Liam, was however extremely nice and apologized for the slow service and waits for the food and our bills. Additionally, the food portions are pretty small, and if I’m waiting that long I would expect at least a few extra fries. Also, the washrooms are disgusting. Average bar and grill place but I will never be back… spending over an hour in wait times is insane. Then again, it is the falls so what do you expect.

Took my family for a trip to Niagara's fall, went to for ribs at this location but wasn't the best experience. My ribs were too dried, not fat at all and overcooked, I made a complaint and they brought me a new rack of ribs but those ones were even worse. No too happy about this. I spent almost $400 tht day.
