Pet-friendly Irish pub in the heart of NOTL. Best liver and onions I've ever had! Nice crunchy crust on two thin slices of liver even when soaked in the excellent gravy. The buttery champ balances out the strong liver flavour and texture. Most folks go for the fish and chips with a choice of either cod or haddock. Cod ofcourse there. Friendly and respectful service to both humans and dogs-alike who are allowed on their patio and given their own water bowl. Less snooty than the Old Angel. Will be back for sure.

Amazing! Amazing, amazing, amazing! The Irish Harp Pub is THE spot to go when out and about Niagara-on-the-Lake. A delicious selection of Canadian and Irish pub-style food, and a great selection of beers and other spirits. I myself got the house-flight, and I seriously recommend it. For dinner, we had the Buffalo Mac n’ Cheese and the Salmon Wellington. Both were very rich and very filling. Service is excellent, entertainment is live, and the food is fantastic. Our server was Jordan and she was quick and always available to help! 5/5 stars for the Irish Harp Pub!

The service is very friendly. The place was filled with visitors, but nevertheless they found us a table for four in a cozy corner and we had the chance to enjoy delicious food and drinks. This was the second time I dined at this pub, and I want to note that the atmosphere in the Irish pub is excellent.

Great spot to chill out or to finish your on the lake journey. We got fish and chips, spinach dip, and chicken fingers and of course beers… Everything was delicious. Definitely will visit again.

Great atmosphere with live music and excellent service. The food was not on par with the ambience. Just regular pub fare. I ordered a Taste of Ireland (Guinness Steak, Shepherds Pie and Chicken Pot Pie). The steak was excellent, everything else was average. My wife got Fish and Chips and it was way over buttered and too greasy. Highly recommend this place if you want to spend a good time over a nice pint of beer.

We loved this pub. While the wait was prohibitive to eating indoors, the outdoor patio was comfortable and the service was outstanding. Should also mention that the patio is not yet approved to serve alcohol so you’ll want to grab a reservation. The Dublin Steak and Guinness Pie was filing and was a generous portion. The Reuben was exceptional and poutine delicious. The toffee cake was moist and stopped short of being cloyingly sweet. This is a great for a casual night out.

Amazing find in Niagara on the Lake. It is like an Irish pub except you're not allowed to stand around and drink a beer. You have to have a table and a reservation. That quirk aside we really enjoyed our stay here. Had an authentic Guinness on tap. And then ate some great food across the menu. Recommend

Great atmosphere with good Irish music. Guinness is nice and the Irish watermelon is a sweet drink , which I am going to attempt making at home (means I liked it ;) ) The food… my oh my ! French onion soup with bread - definitely! And go for the Irish experience, to taste it all. One qualm , would have liked the shepherds pie to have a little more gravy… :) otherwise exceptional.. The service is top notch, nice friendly faces… thank you :)

Popped in for a quick lunch and drink. We sat on the back patio under a tent which surprisingly was cool considering it was a very hot day. We started off with Caesar’s to drink. My wife and I split a shepherd’s pie and fisherman’s wharf (fish & chips, coconut shrimp and upgraded garlic Parmesan fries). Everything was as you’d expect from an Irish Pub. Our server was new on the job but was friendly and made some decent recommendations including Caesars Sundays! Would definitely pop in again for a quick bite/drink.

When we visited the restaurant, it was very lively, loved the atmosphere. Stuffs were friendly and we got seated quickly. I ordered their fish and chips, salad, french onion soup with pint of Guinness of course. Fish very moist and very tasty, loved the breading they put on it. Salad and soup was good too. Overall we really enjoyed our time here.

Great experience! We went on Tuesday Music Trivia night. I can't remember the last time I spent an entire evening out! The staff were friendly & helpful. The food was EXCELLENT! We had the Irish Stew and Fish & Chips. The chips aren't homemade but still good. Everything else definitely homemade. Would have the Irish Stew again, for sure! Love their Sticky Toffee. Not the best I've ever had but certainly very good! The game was so much fun. Lee is very entertaining. And it brought out the best in everyone... real sense of community, tho I'm not a local. I hope to go back again soon!

One of our favorite places in NOTL. First came here 15 years ago and we think this was our fifth. Great beer selection, local wines and the mussels appetizer (white wine sauce) is what brings us back. Tonight we also had shepherds pie and chicken Marsala. All excellent. Finished off with some Irish coffee before walking the town!

Our first time here won't be the last. Great service, friendly staff. Food and beer were awesome. The wife had the Irish stew, which I had a taste of was great. I had the Irish experience, which included Guinness pie, Chicken pie, and Sheppards pie 🥧. The chicken and Guinness pies were very good, but the Sheppard pie (lamb) is an acquired taste, but I ate it all. If you're not sure what beer to order, get a sampler, they have 2 to choose from. How can I forget? I had the stickey toffee pudding 🍮 Great !

Beautifully decorated for Christmas! Warm welcome and atmosphere. Pub with a nice variety of options and Irish specialties and themed drinks. If you want to feel Irishy and enjoy Guinness, this is a place for you. I tried the steak and mushroom pie which was excellent! Burger and fish what you’d expect. Loud space. Friendly service. Street parking or there is a lot nearby.

Probably the best british style pub food in the area, was blown away by their food. Have some yummy pub blends! Best liver and onion I ever had, and their Guinness steak pie with delicious puffy pastry on top is amazing too. Kids and family friendly. Will definitely eat there again!

Chicken wings are bigger than the usual i get from other restaurants. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Steak and Guinness pie was amazing. Collective arts life in the clouds ipa was hazy as and delicious.

Live music and pretty good food. The staff was very nice and helpful to get a seated subsequently for the live music. Note that if you don't get reservations in advance, you will have to wait quite a bit to get live music seating though. The outdoor seating was pretty nice, even on a warm day.

We came here to celebrate my birthday. I picked this spot because of their dog-friendly patio & dog entrees! We ordered burgers, one with onion rings & the other with parme fries. We had the brownie cheesecake which is made in house, I believe. It was soooo good! All the food was extremely fresh. Our waitress was very prompt & sweet; she brought out water for our dogs within two minutes of sitting down. Our dogs’ food came out with ours. My picky husky ate up the salmon dish & didn’t leave one piece of rice! Very generous portions for $10! We will most definitely be back. Oh, I ordered a tequila Moscow mule & it was very tasty as well!

Great experience at The Irish Harp! We were en route from Niagara Falls to Hamilton Beach and decided to drive through Niagara-on-the-Lake. A quick Google search led us to this pub and we're really glad it did. We entered the main pub indoors, but chose to sit outdoors to enjoy the weather. It was a fun time with the cool breeze and a spot of lunch. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We chose to get a few appetisers instead of mains. We ordered a half-portion of the Caesar salad which was the perfect portion size. The loaded potato skins were delicious with the bacon bits and sour cream accompaniment. And the Taste of Ireland was fantastic, enabling us to sample all their different pies. The way they serve their puff pastry on top is very different and pretty cool. It prevents the pastry from getting soggy from the pie gravy/sauce! Will definitely be going back when I next visit to explore Niagara-on-the-Lake further.

The food was great but the over experience was not. The service was slow and our waitress was hard to find. We needed an extra chair on the patio for our group and the staff brought was a chair that was covered in rust. We asked for hot sauce but didn’t get it until we were almost done our meal. To top it off, we were not even offered water until we asked for it.

Our first time at an Irish pub. Everything was great... the food, the service, and the drinks. We reserved a table at the quieter room away from the live music. However, we could still hear the music and it sounded great. So we will definitely come back to try that experience! Anyways, the food was hearty and delicious. I got the Irish Experience, which included shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie, and Guinness steak pie. These chicken pot pie and shepherd's pie were the best pies I ever had. I never had shepherd's pie with ground lamb before and I loved it. It was also my first time trying Guinness, which I loved. My girlfriend ordered the whisky coffee and chicken curry, which were also great. It was also our first time trying sticky toffee pudding and it was an out-of-this-world experience! We would love to revisit this place when we come back to NOTL!

This is a really fun and authentic feeling Irish pub. The service was great and it was a fun atmosphere inside. My wife ordered the edamame + couscous salad, which was pretty good, though was missing something. It was hard to put a finger on it, really just not enough flavor, and the portion size was on the smaller side. I ordered their fish and chips... Which was, well, terrible. Fish and chips is my go-to meal to order at a restaurant. I've had fish and chips all over the world (including Ireland and Great Britain), and this ranks right at the bottom. WAY, WAY, WAY too much breading over rather small pieces of fish. There was SO much breading that the breading was damp and slightly undercooked near the fish. Because of how terrible the fish and chips were, I'd say it actually earned a 3.5/5, but I always round up in reviews. And the service and atmosphere were really good. I'd come back here for a beer again, but I'd skip the food.

This pub was our last stop of the night and it was great. We had a delicious Apple crumble desert with ice-cream on top courtesy of some kind strangers for a celebration of mine. It was good. Didn't get to try the food but other ppl's orders smelled delicious and the menu looked promising. The atmosphere is nice and staff is great. Huge Patio to the back and side. Would go back. Our waitress was fast and diligent. Pics below.

Delicious!! Had the Irish stew and it was so good! Beautiful day outside on their patio with Irish music. Great atmosphere! They've done a really good job to adjust to the pandemic restrictions and still provide good quality meals and service.

Excellent meal at their outside dining. I had the prime rib sandwich with champ. My wife had the haddock fish and chips with garlic fries. Definitely going back there again. Decent beer menu but not massive.

My hubby and I were told about this pub from another shop owner in the area. We decided to check it out, and boy were we thrilled with everything about it! The atmosphere was perfect! Food, excellent! And the drinks were on point! We will be return patrons when we visit the area again!

Nice arrangements both inside and patio. Food was great, service was ok, seems slightly pricy, perhaps because is a tourist area. My tea cup was stained, and plates were like having scratch/crack marks. I hope they can improve on that aspect.

A very popular establishment. And rightly so. Irish harp pub is a great pub with great food. I had the fish and chips which were great quality and tasted fresh. The chips I upgraded to garlic fries (friends got the garlic parm) which added a lot of taste.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to, the food was superb and the staff even better! AND it's very dog friendly!! Totally worth the 2hr drive! Best potato skins we've ever had too!

What a great find! This restaurant was very accommodating regarding seating our party of 6. The food and service was great. I was especially impressed by the teamwork displayed by the team of waiters and waitresses. Our waitress was excellent. The tips are shared among the full wait staff and everyone pitches in to help their coworkers serve their guests. I was quite impressed. Did I say that the food was excellent? I enjoyed my pint of Guinness with my food. We will be back here next year.

Had the Honey & Almond Salmon, The seafood stew and Cheesy Chicken BLT. Everything was amazing. Gaelic Nachos was amazing with Kettle chips. This was the best Salmon I have ever had. Irish ice tea, Emerald Isle, Irish Watermelon and Silversmith Black Lager. Was original told 45 mins until we could get a table but Nate and Julianna were able to find a table to clean and sit us within less than 10mins. Our servers Kyle and Amber were incredible, friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Thank you for an amazing first visit, we will need to come again.

Made reservations a month in advance because we saw all the great reviews. It took ten minutes for our server to greet us so we ordered food and drinks right away as we were hungry (our server seemed annoyed at this). He told us the food would be a bit long because there was a 30 person party ahead of us. I asked how long exactly because we would have gone to another restaurant as we were a bachelorette group and starving from that days fun. He said not too long. The food ended up taking an hour (another table that came in after us got food before us). We even asked our server to get us bread or something for us to snack on because we were so hungry. He said it was above his pay grade. Finally the food had come. I got the chicken sandwich and it was pretty sad looking. Wendy’s is double the size for half the price. He didn’t check on us once to see how everything was. When he was taking the table beside us order they had asked us what was worth getting. We told them the chicken sandwich was pretty bad. Our server heard this too and didn’t bother to inquire at all. We spoke to the manager before our food even had come out and he apologized and said he would give us 25% off which was nice. He also didn’t check on us after getting our food to see if everything was okay. We all work in the service industry and this was pretty bad. Cute location spot, mediocre food, lousy service.

Had a great time this weekend at The Irish Harp! Great service, the food was really tasty and we'll definitely be coming back. :) We tried the beer flights, a spicy pineapple drink, duck confit rolls and the chicken pie, Irish stew and steak pie combination. 🕺

What a delightful space for a casual dinner. The dinner special was a prime rib stir fry with a Jameson whiskey based sauce over tender cooked vegetable strips and rice, with plenty of melt in your mouth chunks of prime rib. Delicious! The Reuben sandwich my partner had was generously stacked with corned beef and the beef barley soup was very good. Our server was training s new server this evening and they were both professional, welcoming and friendly but not hovering, and checked back with us regularly throughout the meal. Will definitely return here on our next visit to NOTL.

This place is awesome! They welcome pets with open arms & even menu items specifically for them (my beagles got the prime rib w/ brown rice but they have a salmon option also). Our food was fantastic and we will totally be returning to try more!

The food was great but its really cold when youre kind of on the waiting list there isn't much to do about it. The place was packed on Monday night so book a reservation. Prices are good for what you get. Blood orange cider is awesome and the Irish Stew is very rich. Bathroom graffiti was awesome. Gave it a true pub feel.

Great experience and great live music. It was nice being able to enjoy the live music during covid and they seemed to follow all covid precautions. The food and drinks were great. I will definitely return.

Had a great dinner there. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. My wife got the veggie roasted vegetable ciabatta and I got the Dublin steak plus Guinness pie. Honestly all were great but the roasted veggies ciabatta was the best and very flavourful! Will definitely return next time we’re in town.

A nice charming pub with delicious Irish food. Servers are all very cheerful and professional. The meals arrived quickly and were delicious. It's just a small walk down the street from the Prince of Wales Hotel.
