Not enough words to describe how much I loved Zappi's! From the looks to the smell and taste... Delicious pizza and spaghetti! The crust and the great ingredients combined in a perfect pizza! The tomato sauce was definitely another highlight that dressed very well the food served here. Zappi's staff was also outstanding, who not only are very nice people, but also keep the restaurant nice and cozy... If you're around Niagara, and enjoy good food, you should come to this place!

We haven't been out for dinner in a very long time. It was our date night and we decided to try it out for our first time. From walking in the door until leaving, the service was absolutely amazing and timely, our server was super inviting, informative and just outstanding overall. The patio is beautiful. The food was exceptional. The nachos were more then fully loaded and tasted so fresh. The pizza....wow. Amazing. Crust was perfect. Toppings were perfect. We will be back

Decided to do take out at Zappi's Pizza and Pasta as we had our dog with us while visiting Niagara. We wanted to try a variety of dishes from there. We ordered two types of pizzas, the works which comprises of pepperoni, roasted red peppers, olives and mushrooms and the rapini and sausage pizza. I have to say the pizza has a decent amount of sauce and cheese and has a good flop where the pizza holds well. Great flavours and amount of ingredients were perfect. Pizza rating 7.5 out of 10 The Philly steak and sub was not your typical steak and cheese sub from Philly but then again they are not trying to make it a real Philly sub. Was a decent and tasty sub. The Italian sauce on top is the sub gave a good tang to it. Sub rating: 7.0 out of 10 The garden salad had all the right vegetables for a delicious salad. Ordered the house made balsamic vinaigrette and was perfect for the salad. Great balance of tang, sweetness, saltiness and smoothness. Salad rating: 8.1 out of 10

Zappi's was a great discovery! The sangria was refreshing and tasty. I had the aubergine lasagna while my BF had the BBQ chicken pizza. When both were delicious if you hesitate between pasta and pizza I swear you won't be disappointed with the pizza! It was one of the tastiest pizza I had the pleasure to eat so far in my life. Otherwise the prices are very fair, the ambiance is great and relaxing and there's no surprise additional fees (local fee that you may encounter elsewhere in Niagara hotel, restaurant,etc.) Also the service was great ! I highly recommend the place. Cheers

Very nice pizza place, and with reasonable prices especially in the Niagara Falls area! The pizzas and fresh and unique, and have creative toppings. We also got the garlic bread, which was very good. Staff are friendly, and there is a nice parking lot available! Great place, food, and prices!

Delicious Italian eatery had something for all of our party. Tried a few local beers as well. Would recommend calling ahead for reservations as the dining room was full and we were seated outside. Patio was nicely shaded and clean. Service was amazing! We would dine here again.

We came across this great pizza place when we were looking for dinner. We had a later dinner at 8:30 pm. With the restaurant closing in 30 minutes we were afraid the service might be lacking. We were wrong. The service was exceptional. The wait staff was the friendliest and very interactive. They provided us with different suggestions and made sure we felt comfortable. They were prompt and professional. The pizza was very good. It was more crunchy and traditional because of the fire oven it is cooked on. The pizza sauce was light and complimented time bread and toppings nicely. The cost for the pizza was very reasonable and for sure could be shared with multiple people to make the price even cheaper. The atmosphere was great and fun to see the different hand painted murals. It was also fun to see the classic arcade game as you walked into the restaurant.

Absolutely loved this place. When in Niagara, I will definitely be going back here again. Only a small walk from the Hilton hotel. The staff was friendly, and the food was very delicious. I also really enjoyed the 50s music that was being played. It was a welcoming restaurant. Highly recommended.

Update June 2022 They have an amazing patio. The staff are always super friendly and ready to assist in any requests. The family owned business has been working hard since 1971 to take care of the customers. They use family original recipes and their sauce is amazing! Update: April 2022 This place continues to not disappoint! What great pizza. Again I had the chicken wing pizza. The wing sauce is what makes this pizza so amazing. I also learned on the box for the locals, there is a loyalty program, if you save a portion of the box that is marked, after 10 tabs are saved you get a free large 1 topping pizza! This is a bonus pizza joint! Forget about chain places! This is legit pizza! We ordered a large pizza with ground sausage, pepperoni double cheese and a medium chicken wing pizza (without celery) and fries. We opted for pickup because it is a 5 minute walk from the casino hotels. It was ready in 20 minutes. The chicken wing pizza was brilliant! Blue cheese, chicken and medium spice wing sauce. When you feel like you're eating pizza and you get wings at the same time? Come on! In love at 1st bite! The crust was super good to top it all off!

Delicious Italian restaurant perfect after a cold hike around Niagara Falls. I had the tomato soup and the linguine with meatballs. The portion sizes were perfect. We had a lot left over for lunch the next day. Staff was friendly and allowed us to leave our car in their parking lot as we walked around downtown.

One of my favourite local Italian restaurant. Ambience is very cute, I guess they are going for a typical Italian atmosphere. The food is simple but great, penne with meatballs is a winner for me and my family. Their pasta sauce is light and seasoned just right. Their pasta noodles are always al dente which I truly appreciate. Pizzas are good and reasonably priced. The portioning is not good for sharing IMO but well enough for one. Zappi’s calzone is another favourite of ours, you can custom the flavours and contents to your liking. Place is kid friendly and they always give our little ones some colouring activity page to keep them occupied while we wait for our food to arrive. We always come here during early hours or brunch when the crowd is not too much, in this way, you can enjoy the restaurant, the food and their service. During summer time, hoards of tourist and locals flock the restaurant so plan ahead and be prepared to wait. The trick we do during their busy season is that we call ahead, order a take out, pick it up, eat at the parking lot and enjoy their food minus the wait to get seated. Al fresco dining is available weather permitting and we just found out that they have an ev charging station which I think is a nice touch. Definitely recommended and will always be a repeat customer.

I rarely give 5 stars but this family friendly gem in Niagara has the best Italian food I have ever had and I am well traveled. I had a build your own calzone that was absolutely stuffed with fresh ingredients (I chose mushrooms, sausage and extra cheese) and baked to perfection. The accompanying sauce tasted like momma herself was in the back kitchen cooking it. My son LOVED the build your own pizza 🍕.My wife and I shared the caramel cheesecake which was sweet and decadent. A friendly staff and great atmosphere make this a MUST GO for anyone visiting here.

Terrific "Local" spot on the Canadian side of the Falls. A short walk away from the super kitschy tourist area. Excellent Italian food and Pizza, Moderately priced. 5⭐️ & 2👍!! Highly Recommend !!

The place was busy and the food took a long time but it was worth the wait. Everything we ordered was well made. The cream pasta was great with the added chicken, and the ravioli with added meatballs was great. The chicken tenders kids meal was also very good. The Hawaiian pizza was our favourite. The California pizza wasn’t so great, the toppings didn’t seem very fresh. The margherita pizza was great but all the toppings slid off when we cut it. The dining experience was great with friendly service and a nice ambience.

The beat meal we had while visiting the Falls. We had 2 small specialty pizzas, a medium, and a family salad that was the best Ceasars salad we've ever had. Prices were reasonable, too! MUST try it!

Very delicious pizza and the restaurant staff attended very nicely and served us well. Just as a feedback there should be more vegan pizza 🍕 options. Overall very authentic pizza restaurant 😋 👌 😍 😊.

Enjoyed every bite at this restaurant, amazing food. Pastas and pizza were excellent. Tried Chicken Parmagiana, Gnocchi, White Greek pizza, Philly steak sub, chicken fajita calzone but the best was was Sundried Tomato Linguine Alfresco. Staff was very friendly, can't wait to visit again.

One bite everybody knows the rules the pizza was a 7.2. We came in an hour before close and we’re greeted with smiles and sat right away. Dylan was a great server providing quick and accurate service. No complaints at all.

Nice place for Italian food, though it didn't meet my expectations. Tomatoes were too huge in the margherita pizza (attached), which killed the taste. However, the pizza base was perfect. The linguine alfredo pasta was really good, but $20 plus dollars without any meat or vegetables is a bit on the expensive side. I had to pay $1.75 for extra mushrooms and spinach. I would say a very basic kind of Italian restaurant with nothing special. They need to add shrimps or seafood to their menu to cater more dietary options. I've never seen an Italian restaurant without seafood and specifically shrimps in their menu.

Good portions , waitress very nice , pep and mushroom pizza , kids portion of penny pasta , with meatballs or not , rapin and sausage pasta . Everything was great , also they have a outdoor patio.

Old school pizza and pasta spot with reasonable prices for the Niagara hotel area. Our server recommended the Alfredo—it had a great combination of creamy sauce and gooey cheese! Not a huge restaurant, so reservations are recommended if you’re going at a busy time.

It was a great place to stop in while at Niagara Falls and get decently priced food. Our server was good, and he gave us a local bar recommendation.

Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. Excellent food, large portions and super friendly service. The caesar salad rocked along with the pizza. Definitely try it if you want something yummy!!

Good ambiance, tasty food and great service. Ordered penne pasta made in their homemade tomato sauce ( Taste was subtle yet delicious ) and Giardino- Vegetarian delight (the pizza was amazing).

Waited for over an hour for food. This restaurant takes care of their take out orders more than their dine-in customers. The food was all freshly made. The pizza came hot and steamy. The dough is very chewy and yummy. The cheese and meat are fresh and flavourful. However, our pasta came cold. It's so plain with simple noodles and pure tomato sauce. The tomato sauce has no meat or any herb at all, just tomato and might be a bit salty; similar compared to making pasta at home with canned tomato sauce but for $19. Definitely recommend the pizza over the noodles. The service is mysterious to us. After we were guided to be seated, we waited for 10 mins but no one came to help us until we called a server over. We ordered 2 pasta and 1 pizza. The server for our table is very nice and sweet, but after ordering and getting water, we never see her again for the next 50 mins of waiting. We were watching the 4-5 chefs in the kitchen making pizza, but most of the freshly made pizza and packaging went for delivery instead of the dining table. We started to get starving and impatient, trying to get someone to get us bread. A server helped us to get our server, take another 5 min, but when she heard that we wanted some bread, she sounded very unwanted because "the bread only comes with the meal". After an hour of waiting, we were planning to leave, suddenly our server came out from somewhere and told us our food was coming in 4-5 mins, and pizza in another 10 mins. We waited for another 10 mins to get our pasta but the came just warm. The restaurant was a bit cold so after I mixed the noodles with the sauce, it became completely cold. After dinner, we complained to the server for the unknown and long waiting for the food. She said she had no control over it, it's only the kitchen people making food. I realized it's my mistake for choosing this restaurant.

Zappi's had such a great vibe to it! We went there for lunch. We got seated at the patio and loved their taste in music! Our waiter was super friendly and she definitely gave a top-notch service. We ordered their Giardino- Vegetarian Delight, coffee and pepsi. The pizza was perfectly cooked and would definitely visit again.

My wife and I came to Niagara Falls for a short getaway from New York. On our last night we decided we wanted a really great pizza pie !! I scoured the web and read several reviews of local spots and here we are....the reviews were all real regarding Zappi's. We had a pie called "The Works" and it was delicious. The wait staff is very busy as the place was packed, but were very attentive. If you're looking for a relaxed restaurant to have great Italian food and the like, Zappi's is your place !!

Wow, what a great surprise we got !! We found this restaurant by chance and we were charmed. Great food, we shared a medium meat lovers pizza and a steak salad and we had more than enough for both of us. The food was delicious and the service we got from Nathalie was very friendly, courteous and professional. I warmly recommend ❤️.

The food here is delicious 😋 my girlfriend got gluten free pasta - it was kinda basic. I got the chicken parmigiana with linguine pasta - it was awesome. Great pasta sauce. The chicken was soft and flavourful. The pasta here is dope too. We also got the stuffed mushrooms. Delicious. The side garden salad was alright, but the Caesar salad was nice and creamy. I just wish the service was better. It's pretty alright. Nothing stood out, except for a dirty table and floor on the patio

2.5 stars. Comfortable and fun interior, each table has a houseplant. The servers were friendly. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger pizza and Alfredo pasta. The pasta was good, the pizza was alright though. The portions are quite good, a small pizza is more than enough for one person. We ordered cheesecake for desert that wasn’t great. Main reason for the star rating is the food took a very long time to come out, and the other tables around us had the same experience. After desert it took 15 minutes to get the bill, and that’s only after flagging down another waitress. I understand that restaurants can be busy and understaffed, but enough staff should be hired, and if it really is so busy the waitress should offer to bring the check with desert.

Ordered a large cheese pizza and cheese calzone to snack on during our time at the falls. The pizza was solid, but a little small – definitely more of a snack for our group than a meal. The calzone had more bread than cheese and was pricey for just a cheese calzone – probably worth its price when customized with other ingredients. It was served with a sauce that tasted like it had been cooked with peppers & onions as opposed to regular marinara sauce. Our hotel was right around the block, so we avoided the hefty delivery change and delivery wait time by opting for pickup instead. Decent local spot if you're craving pizza!

Exceptional server service. The server actively ask us do we need a glass of water, extra plates, take-out box for leftovers and bill before we want to ask. We ordered a glass of lemonade, Caesar salad, ravioli and Alfredo pizza this evening. The food are nice as they do authentic Italian cuisine. Feel comfortable and delicious. Highly recommended.
