We went to this place yesterday. The food was average and pricey and it didn’t serve with any sides which is a additional $20. We had leftover and ask for a takeout box and in the end she didn’t give us a bag to take our food & told us that they don’t have bags due to a shortage but when I walked out of the restaurant I saw some customers that had takeout bags. Later we found out other waiters were giving bags to their guests. Service was okay for the $400 we spent. Not going there again. I rather go to the Keg

Agree with all the reviewers here. The prices are simply insane for what you get. Food is acceptable but for the prices you pay, you expect way more... This place is over rated. The food is placed on a white plate without any garnishment or sides. Even the look doesn't make you feel that it's worth paying big bucks for. Don't get fooled by Four Points Hotel's voucher. Not worth it. Go somewhere else.

We visited Ruth Chris for our anniversary dinner and got the porterhouse for two and à side of mash potatoes. 1. The porterhouse comes with two different cuts of meat - the filet and some other cut - strip, I believe. The filet was tasty, the otherside was flavorless & forgettable. The mash was boring and basic. It could have used some mascarpone to give it some richness. 2. The voucher that the hotel provided ($50) is only valid if you order two entrés and sides. They dont tell you that up front - only once you are seated. That's deceiving. 3. Their menu doesn't list prices. I get that they are going for high end menus where prices are not listed but in today's culture, Transparency is key! 4. Our waitress stopped by every 2-3 minutes which was exhausting especially when we are celebrating an anniversary and want a little bit of privacy to chat and enjoy each others company. 5. I had let them know in advance we were celebrating an anniversary and the front of the house mentioned it when we arrived so they knew. Ruth Chris' staff did nothing to make us feel spécial - it was pathetic. Even the keg offers dessert on the house. A drink or desert would have been a nice touch. 6. Upon being seated, I mentioned the discount from the hotel to the waitress. When the bill came, she had not discounted the bill. I settled the bill and when I asked about the discount, she forgot but was very flustered and made it seem like its a lot of work to refund and charge us the right price. Its only fair and the right thing to do. I was okay with the extra work but instead of refunding and charging me the right amt, they took me to the front desk and gave me a $50 credit on my cc. This was annoying because the bs niagara falls tourist tax, tax and tip were charged on the original full price vs the discounted price which means Ruth Chris made roughly $10 extra dollars on my purchase. Not a big deal if it's one customer but if they are doing it to multiple tables, Ruth Chris is profiting of customers and it's a total scam! Overall, so not worth the money or experience. I was expecting to be blown away by the food but it was disappointing.

They don't even deserve 1 star. No wonder they have so low rating. pathetic staff and service. we went as group to celebrate kids birthday on May 20th. I ordered 16oz newyork strip medium well but got medium rare instead. send it back only to get it back again as medium rare. The salmon we ordered had bones in it and important to mention there were fruit flies all over the table. we called the manager and his excuse was because we are sitting close to the bar, the flies are coming. we told him that we never asked for the table near the bar and also this is not an excuse of having fruit flies in a steak house. The servers had really bad attitude and when we were leaving they passed some bad comments and even one of the server said "get out" to us. also the manager ran to call the security and when I started to make video he started running away from the camera. I will post the video on my you tube channel too.

To start all the food tasted great and the drinks were good. The service was fantastic. Our server Martina was the best! That being said, it was way overpriced Also the service was great but they miss cooked about 3 of our steaks the first time, brought out new ones at no extra charge, but you'd expect it to be perfect the first time when you're paying that kind of money. They also brought us a round of shots for all the mishaps during the night Not worth the price tag but they really made up for the way they treated us as a group

Went for our anniversary, steak is ok this time, not as good as the previous times that we went. My husband ordered a medium and it’s slightly over cooked, my medium rare however was cooked perfectly. Their spicy shrimp is really good, brussel sprouts too are good, those are our regular orders every time we go.

So glad we finally went. We live in Niagara Falls so it is not somewhere we usually go for dinner but wanted to treat ourselves. Not disappointed at all. The service was top notch, the private booth was so comfy and the food was amazing and totally worth the cost. We asked for the Tourist tax to be removed and there were no issues at all having it taken off. This allowed us to tip our server more as well. If you want fine dining and a big selection of steak and even seafood you must go here. There was a private party going on so some of their music was taking over the nice music playing and alot of foot traffic but it didn't bother us too much.

For $500 bill and no vegetable on the side of our steak!. First time here, and I am not impressed. We have been to 3 and 4 Michelin-star restaurants worldwide, and they serve the steak with veggies on the side at no extra charge. Not $20 for three sticks of spaghetti. And my $108 new steak was rare on the side. My order was medium-rare. When I send it back to get fixed, I ended with well done!!. Hello, I asked for medium. Not well done!!. So yes, definitely not going back.

Great atmosphere and service! All of the food we ordered was amazing, especially the main steak & stuffed chicken! Food portions are large, we had left overs. Lily was our server, she was super nice informative and attentive the whole time! Would definitely return for another outstanding dinner!

This is beautiful fine dining restaurant. With private tables, some shielded by curtains for total privacy. Food exceptional, prices are very steep. Not one entre less than $100 per person. Totally alla cart, sides mains... Great wine selection. Very busy.

First time here, love it and will return!! Steak was done perfectly to pair with our Asparagus and the most amazing REAL REAL mash potatoes!!!! Thank you to our wonderful waiters who had to multi task with a wedding and new regulations of the first stage of businesses reopening. Price was on point and I see a lot of people comparing the Keg to Ruth’s… If you enjoy a tougher stake that’s your preference. If you enjoy cutting a steak and have it melt in your mouth with the taste of butter and erbs then Ruth is the to go place.

$$$$ It is supposed to be a five star restaurant that has good food, good drinks, and great service. We tried every appetizers and soup, burger, and stuffed chicken. The only memorable experience is the stuffed mushrooms. But when it comes to the cocktails they are the best, despite the fact that one of the drinks was served in a broken glass. Overall amazing atmosphere 👌🏼 with broken bank

Best place I’ve ever had the opportunity to eat at in Niagara Falls. Outstanding staff Massimo, Jake, and jack. I ordered a 16 ounce New York strip, and I was greeted by a wonderful waiter and their food runners that made me feel great and welcome. couldn’t give you guys a better review and recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants to eat great food.

Solid choice for a good steak. But keep in mind it's more expensive than other locations. Also it's extremely dark inside. Service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend the roasted brussel sprouts.

My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday back in December and he got the ultimate celebration treatment. The staff was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food, top notch. Everything we had was phenomenal. The best garlic mashed potatoes we’ve ever had. Not to mention the steak that was grilled to perfection, just how we requested. Ambiance was warm and we had a private booth that provided a great dining experience for the occasion. We will definitely be coming back next time we visit Niagara 😊

Friendly attentive service (Nick) and the best steak by far. Hot soft pretzel buns to start and a fresh salad big enough to share and of course the perfectly grilled sizzling rib steak and sides. Sadly didn’t have room for dessert….

best steakhouse i’ve ever been to. the service was incredible, and it was totally worth it! very juicy and rich/ high quality steak! the stuffed chicken is one of my favourite things on the menu, but it is a little salty. still a 10/10 & i definitely recommend it! the shrimp was very bland & didn’t really have seasoning, for $28 i definitely wouldn’t recommend that. the mac and cheese is the best! it’s so creamy and cheesy! the staff there are amazing & very professional. they gave me free chocolate cake on my birthday. i’m not a fan of chocolate, but this is the best chocolate cake i’ve had before. it has a very rich flavour, and tastes homemade. my bill total was $313.

Over priced and over cooked ! Over 140$ CAD for one steak does not includ any sides (that’s another 30$ if you want potatoes or veggies !) no seasoning just salt and pepper on everything . I had the filet mignon and lobster. The steak is served on a super hot plate which keeps cooking the steak. I wanted mine medium rare - more rare than medium and by the time I cut through it, it was beyond well done - they replaced it with another and I switched the steak to a cold plate so it wouldn’t over cook . The cheesecake was delicious 😋 and is literally a whole cake ! All and all it was not Worth the money whatsoever and I would not recommend - the keg has better steak !

Chef Andy and his team ensure you have an amazing experience. If you cannot say good things about the food and service, stick with the hot dog carts on the corner. The Tomahawk Steak paired with the Sweet Potato Casserole is to die for. Every dish that arrived was truly amazing. Dante our server was amazing as well. His attentiveness and care to our needs was impeccable!

My wife and I ventured out for dinner but haven’t been to Ruth Crisp since prior to COVID. The setting was remarkable and intimate and our server was very pleasant, knowledgeable and help make the dinner that much better. The food was very good and the staff more than willing to help us with the menu because of strict diets we are following. I will say though that the price of steak surely has gone up. The cheesiest steak on the menu when last there was $58. Last night the cheapest was $104, essentially double the price. No thank you!!! Although good I just can’t justify those prices. We had the portobello mushroom dinner and unstuffed chicken.

I've been to several locations of Ruth's in Canada, USA and Mexico and by far this time at Niagara Falls was my best experience. Shelby, our waitress was so sweet, friendly and honest that it felt like I was visiting with a dear friend. When our food came out at the same time as our appetizers... way too much for my OCD brain to handle... they were accommodating and removed the mains and re-made them at a later time so we could enjoy our apps. This could have been a lower star rating but because the manager, server and waitress were all so apologetic, and explained the food would not go to waste, it totally redeemed the situation. We continued to enjoy our birthday celebration at our planned leisurely pace. The food... always stellar. The drinks... always as described. The dessert... always delicious. Would I go again? In a heartbeat! Would I recommend? Absolutely!!! Only thing I'd warn... if you have to worry about the price of the bill.... maybe you shouldn't be eating at Ruth's.
