I've visited this place twice once in oct 20 and another was in oct 21 exactly one year apart. We went back because we really like first time and this time was totally disaster. Price are high above average if you compare with quantity, taste, presentation and service. From our this years visit it is clearly seen that this restaurant is struggling to satisfy customer and more and more people are turning their back. Taste is not the best but also does not belong to worst. This restaurant needs to work on fast service and presentation. I was absolutely shocked when they served disposable paper dishes and not only that every thing was served in disposables including curry and starters. With the money we spend we expect better service but here it feels like we are just given food and not served. Hope they manage to run it like before.

Chef of India is a fantastic dining destination for lovers of Indian cuisine. The restaurant consistently delivers flavorful dishes that capture the essence of Indian flavors. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of options for both vegetarians and meat enthusiasts. Each dish is prepared with care, showcasing authentic spices and ingredients. The flavors are rich and satisfying, making it a great choice for a culinary journey through India. The service at Chef of India is typically attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The ambiance is comfortable, creating a welcoming setting for a meal with friends or family. While it deserves a solid four-star rating, there’s always room for improvement. Occasionally, wait times during busy hours can be a bit long, but the delicious food makes it worth the wait. In conclusion, Chef of India is a must-visit for Indian food enthusiasts. It consistently offers a taste of India that’s sure to satisfy your cravings for authentic and flavorful dishes.

Came here for the first time, Even though it was Monday the restaurant was full. But there was no issue in the food and service. Really appreciate it. The food was really delicious ordered dhai Bhalla, lamb seekh kabab, mix chat, chicken tikka masala, paneer butter masala, garlic naan and gulab jamun. Only thing we didn’t like was gajrela.

OMG! This restaurant is really very good. The food was great 💯 ⭐️ We ordered lamb bhuna, daal makhni, paneer dish and butter chicken. And I would say all were delicious and I believe lamb bhuna with garlic naan is a must try for all non vegetarians out there. Best Indian restaurant not in city but in whole Canada!! (I’m not kidding)♥️💯 Only thing that I didn’t liked was the AC at this place…it wasn’t working

Yesterday was my Birthday, and my dad had surprised me by taking me to an Indian restaurant called Chef of India. We have passed this place multiple times but never tried it till last night. The food was amazing, the service was excellent! I don’t know the name of the waitress we had last night but she was the sweetest girl I have ever met. We definitely will be back again! Thank you for an excellent time for my Birthday!! 😁😁

Updated review may 9th 2022 Decided to give this place another shot. Samosas were delicious, very large size and nice sauces . I asked for a recommendation from my server and ended up with 2 curries as our mains. She said you want the bread and rice yes ? I said yes . Assuming it was part of the meal but it was not . Saw the added bread and rice in bill. Almost 50$ for 2 Indian meals seems excessive. Mains tasted fine but at that price point I would only return for the samosas. Good vegetarian and vegan options. 2021 review Wish I could have reviewed this place but after I stood in line indoors for 10 minutes they informed me they were closing for take out . People came in after me I'm not sure if they pre-ordered or not . The staff were really weird with me. For reference we were the only caucasian presenting people in this restaurant. Even ten minutes later the open sign is on as you can see in my photo below.

Not sure for what reason, what ever I order it test like they bought frozen/packaged food (except laccha paratha) I can under stand they are serving in disposable cutlery, but main thing is food and service. I noticed everyone was waiting for food, Only 2-3 tables full with food. and it was during pick time. One of the customer who was waiting for pickup she left after taking refund. MAKE SURE WHILE YOU ARE ATTENDING LOCALS, WE ARE MAKING IMAGE OF INDIA IN TO THEIR MIND.

Overall experience at this restaurant was good. The servers were nice and friendly. We have tried their hara bhara kabab and paneer tikka for starters. I really got the Authentic Indian taste for them both. They both were up to the mark. We have ordered their Paneer jhalfrezi and paneer pasanda with parathas for main course. We liked them as well. And for the drinks, we got mango lassi and buttermilk, they were good too. Talking about prices, it definitely is pocket-friendly. A must visit if you’re in Niagara and craving some Authentic Indian taste.

The most delicious and most definitely tastiest Indian cuisine I've ever had...Chef Kumar and his assistants make sure you are smiling before you eat and when you're done eating. I would recommend this to all that love to adventure into different cultures and different foods. The best in Niagara Falls, Canada 100%.

We stumbled across this restaurant in Niagara falls which is walking distance from clifton hills. We have tried different dishes and all were delicious. We really liked veg biryani and hara kabab. Prices are nominal. It was a great experience overall.

I recently discovered an amazing restaurant with a large menu that offers authentic Indian food. The variety of dishes available is impressive. I highly recommend trying the succulent fish Pakora, rice, shrimp curry, hot and sizzling mutton sausage entry, and paneer/potatoes/spices entry. Honestly, the list of delicious options is so long, I could write a book about Chef of India's incredible cuisine. If you're visiting Niagara, you simply must make a point to visit this restaurant. I had such a great experience that I went there two days in a row. The staff were wonderful, showing kindness, patience, and care during our visit. It's a highly recommended must-see spot!

I’m wondering why this restaurant has such a low rating? I went there after seeing the latest and good reviews and was satisfied big time. We ordered mango salad, tandoori roti, naan and malai kofta. I don’t think I need to give any details. Just look at the pictures I’ve posted. We finished everything. Their staff (Prabhjot & Diljit) were extremely humble, polite and friendly. It was such a pleasant and warm experience after a tiring day exploring the area. We will definitely return to this place when we’re around. Thank you guys 🙏🏽

The mango Salad tastes amazing. I thought it will be sour but it's on the sweeter side. Also, the shrimp biryani , chicken korma, and nan actually took me back to India. The food is very flavorful and service is quick (10-15 min wait). Will highly recommend.

The restaurant is not expensive and serves pretty good food. The place wasn't very clean, as the floor was sticky. But customers can enjoy Bollywood and Punjabi music while they eat. The restaurant is located near Souvenir Mart in Niagara Falls, so it's easy to get to. However, only people who like Indian food might really enjoy this place. Overall, it's an okay experience.

The local Indians eat here. That's a good sign. I tried it based on the recommendation from a local. It was so we'll worth it. It has a home feel, which I never mind. But the food is phenomenal.

Great option for Indian food if you’re visiting Niagara…the service was good, the restaurant was clean, staff was friendly….enjoyed the Reshmi kababs served as a sizzler…dal makhni tasted little different in a good way…the malai chicken korma was ok and little bit on the sweeter side….Paneer jhalfarezi was yum with mild spicy curry…tastes amazing with tandoori roti!!

Amazing Food! Simply Amazing. What a jem of a place for Indian food in Niagara Falls. Service was top notch too. They ensured regular follow ups. Price is surprisingly economical than other resturants found in GTA. Quantity of curries is very good. One of those rare places where I would be happy to give more than 5 stars. Well done, Chef!

Best Indian food at Niagara falls. Removing one star for the portion served. It was very less as compared to other places. They serve in very small bowls.

The service we received was very friendly. The food arrived quickly, and everything was delicious. The fish pakora was the best we’ve ever had. We also order Dal makhani, Aloo Ghobi, and butter chicken. We ate more than enough and took lots of leftovers home. We don’t live in the falls, but we would definitely make the trip back to eat at this restaurant again.

Nice environment and service. Chicken biryani was best out of all our orders. Naan was crunchy which I love as well. Ordered spicy chicken curry and it taste like butter chicken with no cream, seems like the paste was same for butter chicken and curry. Ordered tikii chat but we got samosa instead , we were okay with that but taste and presentation wise, I was disappointed, no dahi, no chilli, no lemon, on chaat just chana masala and coriander chutney with some onions. Price wise I will say it’s bit pricey with portion served.

I would like to comment about the service first: Really amazing service by the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. The girl who took and served the order is very friendly and helpful. Food is average. We ordered chicken Biryani and it is tasted bland. No flavor. Chicken vindaloo tasted okay. Butter naan is average. There are rooms to improve for quality and taste of the food. I hope they will consider this. If I visit again, the only reason is for their service.
