Rude, unprofessional, lack communication, retaliation against you from some staff and supervisors. They refuse to offer continue services and will deny you help and falsely accuse you of things that didn't happen by their therpists. I had to file with the "Civil Rights Commission" on behalf of a disability discrimination. If yoursuffering from mental health, seek help else where. A lot of corruption going on at this location from senior supervisors. I challenge all of you who have been mistreated to stand up and speak your truth !!

The only good people here were Erin and I forgot the other therapists name but I think its Katie. The politics of this place and some of the other therapists are horrible. When I was on meds it was always a hot mess to get the refilled, so bad I decided to get off of them and just stick to therapy. They forced some group meetings I was uncomfortable with and couldn't make them on time because of work and they closed my case.

This place needs some SERIOUS work. First of all they don't seem to care about the best psychiatric needs of the patient. When you go into your required consuling visit. They are in a rush to type of your "treatment plan" which I'm not even sure what's on mine. This is a county run program. Its the consulars "job" to have on file a set of skills or goals for each patient .They spend time typing that up each visit we do not work on any breathing techniques etc. for my severe anxiety. Then we do the SAME quiz every time and I give him a number on how bad the struggle has been that week. Quizes they print offline that I could do and get the results myself. The Dr. Is a nice older man who admitted to me he pretty much has to do things their way as he no longer has a private practice. Which is the way to go leave the Falls and don't go to a clinic like this for your psychiatric needs. Next the consular has been trying to get me to attend a women's group in attention to seeing him 2 times a month which was only once a month I requested more hoping I would get more out of the sessions but I'm not.And the Dr. Once a month if that. I'm not against the group however I have a 3 and 4 year old who are now off for summer and have not been making it. I did go to one it was okay but honestly it's not an "anxiety group" again no SKILLS were taught. Women went around the room talking about their abusive bfs and previous suicide attempts and the teacher didn't get more than 5 words in. I get a crazy call from the consular after missing the last group saying "he's going to talk to the doc about discontinuing some of my meds" How disgusting last time I checked I wasn't in drug court or required to do any more then attend my sessions w this consular and Drs appointments. I signed the argument at the beginning. So sad how the mentally ill are treated in this city. This program has its pluses but it needs a lot of tweaking and brining the good client i am I'm disgusted by that phone call and will be writing to the director. To many times in there I see people being mistreated . They LOVE to threaten to take your meds bc these one year degree consulars who are helping u by guidelines think they can fix u . Like a Horizons or something. I'll be sticking it out till I can get back in to suburban phys . where I previously had the most success and my sister is currently treated and cared for properly along with a good psychotherapist. Not some 28 year old newbie with as much knowledge on the subject as me. Further more I think it's so interesting my discussion with the Dr. Who showed me his stack of patients on OVER LOAD and admitted to having to follow their rules etc. But if my consular goes to him he will just listen to him how disturbing . Definitly leave NF for quality care I've been through this for years and am very discouraged by the care of lack there of not only at Trott but NFMMC phys.

I went here 3 times in need of medication cuz of my depression and anxiety and I still didn't see the Dr to be treated. It's taking almost 2 months and still am not getting treated. So I will not be going there anymore or coming back. You could of treated me with meds, I told u would work for me cuz they have in the past, which are not addictive, while giving me counseling. So the meds have a chance to work while I'm being counselled instead of leaving me untreated this long making my depression and anxiety worse! Not to mention it's frustrating dealing with this place as it is, by the time I leave I need the meds more. I don't feel better when I leave there, there's not positive talk and things said by a counselor to make me feel any better than I did when I went in there. That's what a counselor is for... To help make you feel better. I don't have time to keep coming back there leaving untreated. I have a child and a life. I need to function better not waste my time talking to someone. I will be going elsewhere... Somewhere that can actually help me. I'd give zero stars if I could.

I have a psychiatrist from Dent, so meds aren't my problem. Most of the experience I have had has been good. The secretarial end is very poor. I also had a horrific counselor, Matt D. Not sure of he is still there, but he was bad. Other therapists are ok.

I wish I could give this place less than one star. I called several times and never got an option to speak with a human or leave a message. I'm unable to comment on the clinic itself because I was never able to get an appointment!

Dr. Shahata drastically changed my meds without getting my medical records on the very first appointment. I ended up in the hospital and could have suffered suicide. I do not recommend this Dr. And he's sliding under the radar for a serious medical malpractice lawsuit.

About 4/5yrs ago, I was trying it out at TROTT. However, I missed a session and was made to redo the intake process(cash grab). It already took me a lot of time thought and energy to actually go get help, due to my history with this system as well as the all around history. I'm Native And Black.... I don't trust it. Imagine how bad I had to feel to go ask it for help.... The thought of starting all over was disheartening but I did it. Another session I called and let them know I was running late and that I had my son with me (pre-COVID= 45min+ wait time on average). I was 2min passed the 15min grace period. They already took someone else. I brought up the fact that we usually wait a long time before getting seen. The receptionist was kind enough to let me know that other people that need help showed up on time. They sent me away and I had to reschedule for another intake. Another do over. I did. The very next appointment I was 15min early and was waiting 25min after my scheduled time before I spoke up. I asked the receptionist if she remembered me. She did. Seeing my frustration, she apologized over and over but the damage was done. I left. Can you imagine the progression of my mental regression due to, PTSD, anxiety and depression? I'm sure I'm not the only one out there wallowing in mental suffering due to this faulty system.

I wouldnt recommend coming here for mental health. My brother was there for about 5 years. They started making him attend meetings even though he told them many times he isnt comfortable being around alot of people. He managed to attend most but after missing a few they told him not to come back, and he ended up slitting his wrist. so I hope you people are happy. I will be looking into legal matters. I called his counselor 3 times begging for him to have another chance and the nasty girl I believe named christina didnt even have the nerve to call me back. I cant believe yall run a mental health facility the way you do. Many times they would send the wrong meds to the pharmacy and when he called they say oh now you have wait to see the doctor again. This place is disgusting. Please do not go here unless you are looking for people who dont really care or take their job seriously.
