Went with my young family. We all were masked. I signed waivers for all my children because they’re all under age 9. After doing paperwork, they tell me they ‘can’t verify if we have covid or not’. They couldn’t verify if any of the patrons had/has covid and pretty sure you can’t verify ANYONE has covid but we’re masked. Attendant refused to contact owner/manager but calls police. Owner miraculously arrived as we leave. Pretty sure there’s some healthy racism happening here as our family is visibly middle-eastern and was in traditional dress. Way to go Tonawanda. Way to go Niagara Climbing Center. Gross.

First time rock climbing as a birthday celebration. I had an amazing time. Austin went above and beyond with his customer service. He is an awesome guy! I recommend this place if you want to have a fun time

I bought a pass bundle last year and confirmed with the worker that they wouldn't expire since I didn't know the next time I would be back. I tried going back to use the pass yesterday and the 2 front desk workers literally laughed in my face about the passes being expired for several months now. I was very put off about their behavior and the original guy lying to me about the passes not expiring. I wasted ~$100 on them. I will be taking my business to central rock gym instead.

Summary: For when you really want to boulder, it's the only option and a decent spot. Don't expect too much in the forms of textured walls and dihedrals coloring the walls with fun problems. The Good: Friendly staff, well priced, and they make the most of what they have for space and materials. The bouldering problems were laid out well and it wasn't too crowded when I visited over thanksgiving break. The Bad: I wouldn't call this a climbing gym unless you're 5 years old. The walls are about 20 feet tall. They have a nice lead overhang area but if you're used to large walls this will feel more like a high ball bouldering problem. If you've gone to other climbing gyms with walls made by the like of Walltopia or similar, this place will feel more like your friend's homemade wall with plywood and taped holds. I'm not sure how people can give this place 5 stars, but considering there are apparently no other "climbing" or bouldering gyms in the area, it may just be due to lack of options.

This place is my JAM! The vibe is chill and so are the people. The climbing is meditating while exercising. It's *solving a physical puzzle with just your mind and body and sheer will and forget about gravity!!* Since I posted this the gym has changed. I think the route setters need more time to set, it seems like they only get a few hours to set when it takes a full day. Would it be possible to close off the new set wall for an entire 24 hours for the setting process??

The membership for student is pretty awesome.

NCC has come a long way. They have done a lot of remodeling and the walls look great. They bought tons of new holds and installed a new central heating and cooling system. Two years ago I climbed there because they were the only climbing gym in town. Now I climb there because they have become a great bouldering gym.

Had my sons birthday party here (11 year old) the boys had a great time and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Party room was great. Cannot say enough good thing about this place for boys to get out some energy!

Not only is it fun and but demanding. Both mentally and physically. Great environment, great staff, and remember don't be afraid to ask question they will help you with anything you need, they are super helpful and respectful. Great for new and experienced climbers.

Great facility and staff! We took our 6th grade Girl Scout troop and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The staff was really great at explaining everything. My 4 year old had a great time, it was great to watch her try new things and challenge herself.

We brought our two nephews here and they had a blast! This was inexpensive fun on a rainy Sunday afternoon, and they climbed for several hours which got all of their energy out. The facilities were clean, and staff friendly- while I did not try and climbing myself, the rock walls seemed to range in variety and complexity which should keep all ages entertained. Would definitely come back and do it again, we even saw them changing some of the designs and holds so the climbs are constantly evolving.

Great experience at Niagara Climbing Center! James and staff made sure our family had fun and were safely informed on top of having a large group coming in. It's obvious they really care. Fully recommend for some climbing fun!

The owner of this company should know how absolutely disrespectful his employees are to party goers “Quinn Dahlec” (male long dark curly hair) as he told me his name was- was an absolute disgustingly poor representation of the company, they need better management or supervisor on for birthday parties. When booking the party, your promised, candles, serving utensils and everything you will need however, the young and lazy employees working the parties, do not care to give you the time of day to assist with anything that you need. The poorest representation of customer service we have ever experienced. Very disappointed will not come back ever again.

Let me start off by saying we had a blast. My daughter turned 10 and we had her party here. Everybody at the gym was so nice and helpful we were beside ourselves. I used to climb there when it was lumber city Rock gym and it’s been over 25 years since I tried. one employee in particular really made my day.Koi Showed me around and taught me the different sections to climb. And let me just say it brought back a lot of good times of when I used to climb. I was so hyped in fact I bought a chalk bag for my daughter and I and when I got home bought a pair of shoes lol. We will be back and again thank you to everyone for making my daughters birthday great. I highly recommend this place for Not only the facility and how cool it is but its members staff That brought the kid back out in me

I've been climbing here for about a year and a half. The gym has a great climbing community, staff are really nice, and the playlist is such a vibe.

We can't even begin to tell you how grateful we are to the staff of Niagara Climbing Center. Our daughter's birthday party was at the center, and the staff handled everything perfectly. The kids had an absolute blast and some of the adults climbed as well. The party room was nice and big and the staff took care of all the arrangements including ordering pizza for the party. 10/10 would do this again next year. If you are looking for places to do a birthday party, we highly recommend them. Thank you Niagara Climbing Center for giving our daughter a memorable birthday party.

This place is a gem! NCC has stood the test of time, providing high quality family entertainment for a couple decades. I highly recommend having children's birthday parties here. We had a party for my daughter in the early 2000s and have never forgotten the fabulous good times that were had by all! Thanks NCC for providing so much wholesome fun to our community for so long!

Great prices for children’s birthday parties. The staff was excellent. The party room is clean, bright and inviting with enough privacy from the climbing area. My daughter had such a nice time and I would recommend it for any child’s birthday!

I planned my son's 7th birthday party here. I called and set it up the first part of Nov and his party was the 1st weekend in Dec. I advised that all the party rooms are upstairs. I let them know that his grandmother that is attending the party cant do stairs and is there anything they can do. I was told he would speak to his supervisor and call me back. I waited 3 days with no response. I finally called them back and after being put on hold several times that yes they could accomidate me if I changed the party from sat to sun and from 1-3 to 1230 to 230. Ok fine I reschedule everything and move forward. I call the week of the party to co firm and they again told all was good. I arrive 1/2 hour before the party time on Sunday only for the guy to tell me he has absolutly no idea about it. Ut was in the computer , but they dont have rooms donwstaris to do a party. He went and got the manager and she was helpful and trying to make sure it was handled by telling me we could do it upstairs cause there is an ELEVATOR!!! Why was this not to gold to me in the beginning. The staff at that point was helpful and making sure the party went well, but then processed to insult me by giving me a buy one get one coupon that expied in 2 days after the party. I paid the entire bill that was owed, as I didnt want them to think I wanted anything for free but damn you can atleast offer. I got nothing. I would not recommend this place just based on poor customer service.

Nice fun but filthy inside sticky tables , bathroom crime seen , overflowing trash cans , its not the chalk .... that one side by the bathrooms .

Such a great place! The staff is kind, friendly and helpful no matter what your age or skill. My son loves trying the different courses and challenging himself. It is also cool to watch the more experienced climbers and their talent!

Only place in the area. Top roping as first timers were fun both times we went, but once we tried bouldering it seemed sort of ridiculous... problems were difficult to distinguish and not well planned. The rates are cheap and the student discount is good, but I don't see myself growing in the sport in a "gym" like this.

This place was awesome!! Such a fun time and George (staff member) was incredibly helpful! Would highly recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive way to have some fun!

We hadn’t been there in a while and we were so impressed with all of the new updates. Jake and Sam took impeccable care of us with instruction, support and Band-Aids? Had a great time. Varying degrees of difficulty with the color coding made for an exceptional and competitive time. Perfect way to spend the afternoon. Will definitely be back. Thank you. It’s definitely a one-of-a-kind place

I think this place is great! I'm new to rock climbing, so a friend and I went to experience it for the first time. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Happy to assist whenever we had questions. Now we try to make it over there every other week. Great rates, I really just cant say enough about how much I like this place! James is awesome!

Great place to climb at! There are lot's of bouldering problems & they have recently created a climbing cave (bouldering problems on a low ceiling)! NCC has a great vibe too. The staff is very friendly, the music is great & the walls are wooden which gives an authentic style to the gym! Go climb at Niagara, it's better than the large chain climbing gyms that are popping up in every city. This place has style!

Samantha the party coordinator did such an amazing job! She really made my son’s birthday party special. She was approachable, vivacious, and really gave all the kids a great time. Also, Jimmy at the front desk was very helpful and answered all of my question. The facility is well kept and the climbing is very well rounded. I would recommend NCC to anyone and everyone.

James is the best employee at Niagara Climbing Center. As soon as me and my friends entered the building, he was so welcoming and enthusiastic. Definitely deserves a lot of credit for the time and dedication he puts into doing his job.
