The hotel looked welcoming. We were welcomed in a little early for our stay. When we got into the room and set our bags down, we went to get cleaned up for the evening. The bathroom was filthy as well as the door. Of course, after seeing that curiosity got the best of me. I decided to look at the room a little better. I found trash and food debris on the floors. Bathroom look like there was blood dried up on the floor as well as in the tub previously. There was hair All over the bathroom. I had to go out and grab small cleaning stuff I had in our truck and clean our own bathroom. As a guest I feel it is not my job to tell anyone how to do their jobs. But I would hope in the future that hotel staff thoroughly inspect their rooms before allowing others to stay in it. I will not be staying here again.

The rooms were okay, pretty clean. Nice view. Check in was with no issues. That’s why I’m leaving 3 starts. The problem is that we stayed there three nights. We requested room cleaning a night before just as we were told when we were checking in. We were leaving for the day and we asked the person who was cleaning that our room was on the list just to make sure. It wasn’t. But she said she will take care of it. Ok no problem. We come back in afternoon and it was still not cleaned so we went to the front desk. They said they will take care of it. No one ever came. How is it possible three separate people didn’t get that straight ? Another thing is.. parking charge ? Very funny.. it’s not like hotel is in the middle of a bustling city….

I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could. - Elevator is often peed on by dogs and never cleaned (it always stinks) - Halls leading to the rooms smell of wet dog and have trash bags lying around it most of the times - Front desk checked us out before we even made it downstairs to get checked out ?!? - There are no cleaners during your stay, which makes me wonder if the rooms are cleaned at all after we left. - The bed is so uncomfortable you can feel all the springs on the mattress. - The TV’s in the rooms are super old but the least you’d expect is that it’d work, well, it doesn’t. - The only positive side of it is the fact that it’s located near the river, there’s a nice view from the outdoor area of the restaurant. The price may be appealing but it’s not worth choosing this hotel over a more pricey one with better services.

A Wonderful Experience at Niagara Riverside Resort! At the start of the summer, my in-laws were searching for a last-minute venue for their wedding in Oct 2023. Niagara Falls seemed like the perfect destination, and my mother-in-law discovered Niagara Riverside Resort online. In June, we met with Ashley for a tour of the facility, and by the end of it, we knew it was the perfect place for them to get married. Ashley's kindness, care, and enthusiasm won us over instantly. During the meal tasting, we met Annie, a new member of the Sales Team, and we instantly felt comfortable with her too! Together, Ashley and Annie answered all of our questions and concerns exceptionally well. The banquet staff was exceptional, especially Katrina, who went out of her way to introduce herself to my family and myself the night before the wedding. Chef, in particular, deserves special thanks for the amazing food he prepared from the tasting to the wedding day. Ashley, thank you for keeping the drinks flowing for me all night, I am now a BIG fan of the Riverside and Annie, thank you for making the fireworks display possible on short notice, and for being there to assist me with rehearsal. Based on my experience here, I ended up changing my original wedding venue to Niagara Riverside Resort, I look forward to working with you all again! If you're looking for the perfect venue for your next event, don't overlook Niagara Riverside Resort! I know I didn’t!

It was an absolutely amazing experience staying here. The king suites are absolutely gorgeous and just what I needed for my vacation. It was a quick drive to anything I wanted to go see. The food in the restaurant was delicious. All of the staff we spoke to during our stay were wonderful and kind. Even got to talk to the housekeeper that was to take care of our room after we left. The staff there really put the experience over the top of an already amazing vacation. They were wonderful! I absolutely would go back, I had such an amazing time.

Gor ringworm on my face from towels. Had mold in my mini fridge. Ended up with 4 different charges on my card from the hotel and they refused to correct them. One of the charges was for parking and I had no vehicle. Quoted one price at check in then charged more without explanation. Every room has an incessant echo of the elevators. Laundry facilities not working. No towels were clean for pool area. Fire alarms went of at 6 AM during our stay for which there was no mention or apology. Pretty much the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Do NOT recommend and I would not ever go back!

Our stay at this hotel was less than stellar. We are not picky people but we do have standards. This was by far the worst best western hotel we have ever stayed at. We went out of our way to stay at a best western because we know their quality starters. It actually surprises me that Best Western affiliates themselves with this hotel.. During our stay we had a few negative experiences including, handprints all over bathroom door, the carpets in hallway were dirty, the bathroom fan did not work, The bathroom floor was dirty. When we called for extra linens for the pull out couch in the room they asked if we could come down and get them. Luckily when we went down to get them a housekeeper saw us and brought them up. He was the only positive part of this stay. We were told when booking we would have a river view suite and we're given a view of the parking lot through dirty windows. When we called the front desk we were just told "well we have a full house so we can't switch your room". We will not be returning to this hotel in the future and certainly will not be recommending them to anyone we know.

We were at this property for a family wedding. I’m not a huge Best Western fan but this “premiere” property is about as far from premiere as you can get! First, the location is pretty…right on water. Not in the best neighborhood but thankfully we had no issues. Pool area was nice. Second, for this large of a hotel only one elevator worked. It was for guests AND cleaning people. Needless to say it took forever so most of the time we had to use the stairs which were sticky and dirty (we were on 5th floor). We got to our room that was disgusting. Cabinets looked like something chewed them, beds were terrible, no microwave, dirty mini fridge, no cold water in sink. The electrical outlets seemed overloaded with multiple things plugged in in our room. No free breakfast. Their “buffet” was $16, which was nothing more than most hotels offer for free. I would not recommend this property at all.

We booked an overnight stay at this hotel in November 2023. When we first arrived everything seemed very nice. We had booked a 2 bed suite for one night. The room seemed nice until we started to look closer. We found a pepper in a corner of the room and as we looked further both rooms were not that clean. The bathroom sink tap was loose so you had to hold it with one hand as you turned the tap with the other. A little messy when you had soap in your hands. There was no hair dryer in the room as well, so my wife went to the front desk to ask for one and was told they would bring one up. We went out to dinner and when we returned there was still no hair dryer so we went to the front desk again and within about 15 min. the front desk clerk dropped one off. When we then went to bed. that's when the noise began. Kids shouting and running up and down the hall as well as adults shouting. We just assumed that this would stop shorty but no, this continued until approx. 2-3 am. We've stayed at various hotels in the Niagara Falls area and have experienced this before but usually after about an hour things would quiet down. We were quite surprised that this carried on for so long. We did not report this as we assumed many others would be complaining. The next morning my wife went to the front desk and as it happens the regional manager was there and she reported what had happened. They were aware that there was a kids birthday party and they had heard there was some disturbance. We pointed out that this continued well into the early morning. The regional manager did not seem very apologetic and did nothing to such as offer us free breakfast or some means of correcting a terrible experience. We will not be returning to this hotel any time soon.

I have stayed in this hotel many times in the past. I have always enjoyed my stay. However this place has gone downhill. The rooms were cleaned mediocre. They now charge for parking which they never have in the past. Must be the newest owners or management. They give you a decent price for hotel and then add parking after you check out.

We stayed only one night. Check in was fast and ok customer service. We did not like the fact that you had to pay for parking on top of paying for the room. That should definitely be included. Room was somewhat clean but they could have taken a little more time and wiped off the table and desk, which had something spilled on it. The best part, I woke up the next morning to shower and there were NO towels at all in the room. Had to dress and go all the way down to the desk to get them because there was not a phone directory to direct us how to call the front desk. Overall was ok, but might have to check out somewhere else next time we visit.

The hotel was outdated but generally suitable to accommodate basic needs. Initially, I had difficulty requesting a crib. The front desk insisted on stating that they were not allowed to hand them out... although we had called in advance to put one aside. Phone rep did not add it to the notes of our room. Later, another personnel brought us a pack and play. The pool was large but had very cold water. The view was the best part. There are no stores around, so the only option is to eat at their restaurant. Main issue was a security breach in our room. While getting dressed and preparing to check out, someone entered our room without knocking and who had a key. I shouted and they closed the door and just said oh sorry. Front desk attempted to find out what happened. Did not offer any type of compensation or empathy for the concern. Parking cost an additional 10 dollars.

The room looked decent at first. After placing our things in the room, I noticed a spider crawling on the pillows. Got rid of him, then moments later there was another spider crawling around the same area. We looked under the beds to try to find where they were coming from and we found a piece of bread, crumbs, napkins, plastic cutlery, and dust bunnies. This made me incredibly paranoid and I could not sleep. The sanitation of the room is unacceptable. The rooms need to be cleaned properly and thoroughly. The room could use a slight renovation as well. The TV is super old, the toilet paper holder was hanging by one screw, and I would recommend updating the vanities. The wood slats below the sink do not provide a clean feel in the room and make me question the cleanliness of the towels that rest on them. Lastly, there was only a small amount of toilet paper left on the roll and there were no replacements provided in the room. Towels were small-sized and thin.

This was by far the worse hotel stay we have experienced and we have stayed at many hotels across the country. To start off we found the hotel online but called for our reservation. We told the lady what we saw online and she booked us for the 2 queen bed with living room suite over looking the river with kitchen and jacuzzi tub....we were told it would be $169 plus tax for a Wednesday night and that we had to reserve over the phone by card which we did. We got to the hotel to be charged $330.58!!!! No one told us on the phone that taxes would be just as much as the room and an extra $10/night for parking. We get to our room and it was far from what we reserved. The carpets were dirty, we had a parking lot view not a river view, the room smelled like chemicals, the kitchen consisted of a sink and mini fridge, the bathtub was smaller than the one we have at home and the pullout couch was as old as my grandmother that squeaked whenever you moved. We went to the desk and was told we would have to talk to the manager in the morning. Morning comes around and we are told the manager we needed to speak with works "nights".....hmm how about that??? We wake up and my daughter had 2 bug bites on her face. We again told the front desk and they came up to check the bed. They offered us a "complimentary breakfast" for our troubles. Which we denied. When we mentioned to them the chemical smell there were guys walking around in white suits

First and foremost the price for five days was reasonable. The pool, fitness center, and restaurant looks amazing. There is a beautiful patio at the restaurant where you can enjoy your food and drink(s). The Bella Vista restaurant have okay drinks and happy hour. The Salmon Tacos were salty, the Salmon dinner was distasteful with the exception of the salmon which was okay. There were a lot of flaws such as cosmetics inside the room. The first thing I noticed were the blankets (photos attached). The blank looked ok may until I opened the window shades and lifted the blanket up to the light… The next was history! Enjoy the photos…

In a beautiful location along the river which is peaceful from the outside at least. Some very good restaurants within walking distance. Tons of noisy kids staying within so be warned. I'm not sure what the deal here is with housekeeping, but our entire stay we didn't have anyone come in to clean. There was no hot water on our last day, so no shower before checking out. Overall, nice rooms and facilities, but needs a few more employees for keeping up with daily maintenance.

Would say more of a hotel than a resort. Perhaps in the summer, riverside options may mark it higher, we came in the winter. Beautiful decor, spacious pool and lobby. We were across from the elevator and could hear the rolling all night. Room was a normal sized double queen, beds comfy, small bathroom, but it had a separate area for the sink and mirror.

My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I asked for a room on the same floor as my friends, facing the river, and that's what I got. What a view! I only stayed one night, but if I was staying more than that, I would have wanted a little microwave. The room was one of the quietest I've ever slept in. Great location, too. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed for 2 nights, the first morning housekeeping walked into my room without knocking at 9am. The second morning the head housekeeper knocked on my door at 10am asking when I would be leaving. Mind you, checkout is at 11am. Absolutely appalled, and I honestly feel like I had no privacy. Not to mention, it was in a cellular dead zone for me, who uses Verizon.

Extremely overpriced. The hotel needs some upkeep and the mattresses are not particularly comfortable. The guest laundry is only a single washer and dryer and there is no detergent. They suggest you go across the street to 7-Eleven to get anything you might need. The staff was good given their resources though.

Hotel could use a deep cleaning and some repairs. Walls are paper thin, difficult to get decent sleep. We unfortunately left some important belongings behind and when I called a few hours after checkout they couldn’t find them so they had obviously been stolen by staff. They charged for hotel guest parking which is odd considering it’s not in a desirable area and there is nothing around it. Not in the best area of town. Hotel is overpriced. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice with a good view of the river.

Great breakfast, services in restaurants were 10 for sure. Food was delicious and there was so much for the money.. front desk was about 8, it was hit and miss. One girl was amazing then next guy wasn’t doing his job and we waited forever to get help. Rooms were ok, smelt weird and didn’t have enough bedding.. view out the room was amazing tho.. i do know $250 a night I paid isn’t worth it especially cause it was even a weekday.. kinda disappointed in the overall price for the experience.

I have stayed here before and enjoyed my visit. So I reserved 2 nights last weekend. Well, the restaurant and bar were closed, I can live with that. Even though the website showed them open. When I checked out they added $20 plus taxes for parking. It wasn't quoted to me in my reservation! When I questioned it they said it's on the website. So, not sure I'll stay here again, deceptive practice.

City view rooms should just say parking lot view. Do not get a room anywhere near the world's loudest elevator. People leave their yippie dogs in the room to bark for an hour when they grab a breakfast. Certainly didn't help the fire alarm went off, assuming from the renovations they were doing at 1am. Only bumped into one staff member who's soul hadn't been sucked out by that place yet and was sweet.

Absolutely amazing views and staff members. This place is a must stay. Huge inside swimming pool area. Size of a highschool basketball arena. Laundromat available on site and fitness center. Bar and restaurant also. Great prices for the stay also. Had a huge snow storm and they were scraping the lot hourly. They need a microwave in every room also and they charge for parking 10.00 a day.

I have booked a 2 queen room with river view. The reason for a 2 star rating is 1. i booked a river view room but when i checked in they said hotel is fully booked and took a regular 2 queen room, 2. Their site mentions microwave in the room surprisingly we did not find one in the room, 3. We were given a room at the check in first the restroom did not have a vent , restroom flush was not working and room was stinking, 4. I had requested for another room staff was not so friendly she responded arrogantly asking to vacate the room asap which we did and the second room was also not so good. As usual no microwave, restroom doesn’t have a vent and are very tiny. The room was no so clean , towels had stains on it, thermostat was there but it wasn’t working 😬😆 donno whats the point of having it too. Not really a good experience nor a pleasant stay. But yes every Individual would have a different experience but this is mine.

We stayed for a quick 1 night trip and we for once have no complaints! The staff was amazing, and the room was very clean! The bed was amazing as well as the shower! We didn’t get to try the restaurant but it was packed so I’m guessing it was good! Location is perfect it was only a 10 minute drive to everything we wanted to do! We will definitely stay again!

We have a beautiful view but for some reason we can HEAR everything from our neighbors talking to kids way down the way. We are on the sixth floor and everyone walking the hall's is LOUD. Like it echos. The lobby is nice, the restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food. The service was nice and we got free popcorn and hot chocolate. The pool is decent and so is the gym. Would rather stay somewhere else though. The noise is driving me nuts. Wanted peace and quiet

This hotel just isn't clean. Floors are sticky and stained, rooms are musty and all the fixtures and furniture are old. There was a strong moldy smell in our fifth floor "river view" room, and our ground floor room had a shampoo dispenser ripped from the shower wall. They want to market it as an upscale resort, but it misses the mark in every way. You cannot charge for an upscale breakfast experience when it's a buffet, and there are no napkins or extra silverware. A buffet is a buffet; call it what it is and make it sanitary. The pool also left so much to be desired. When we arrived there were children running through the lobby with only diapers on; parents were no where to be found. Disappointed in our stay overall. Would not recommend to friends and wouldn't return here.

The front desk staff was always pleasant, helpful, and friendly. They were always happy to greet us and make us feel welcome. The beds were big and comfortable. The pool was nice, even though some people in our group said the water was frigid. I enjoyed it anyway. It was a little disappointing that the bar closed so early. Seems like they could make a lot more money if the bar was open during the hours that most people actually want to drink. Overall, a good experience at a very reasonable price point.

We ended up getting a river view instead of the city view which was excellent! I certainly didn’t complain. However people give reviews that the place is very clean but maybe they have different standards than I do. My son kept sneezing in the room so I believe they had a pet in the room before we were there. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would expect and the power went out on the second night we were there. However the other big name hotels had power!! They didn’t offer to accommodate us or anyone else for that matter as there were people packing up and leaving around midnight. The power came back on shortly after midnight and the next morning at breakfast only my son had breakfast and we didn’t get plates and she was looking to charge us for 2 plates? (Riddle me the math on that one?) upon me saying something to her she didn’t charge us for any of the plates! Thanks for that!

We stayed here and unfortunately the rooms aren’t clean they need to hire better cleaning staff I suppose. The lady at the front desk I believe her name is Cheri exhibited very poor customer service skills she was rude and obviously not treating her guests correctly, for no reason and she said some questionable things to us. They make you pay for parking just to squeeze more money out of you? The pool temp is not what it should be they say it is but nope not true bring a thermometer it’s cold. The only thing going for them is the view from the back. There are better places.
