Hike, Walk, Run around Niagara Reservoir. If you park at the Power Authority parking lot, and take paved trail up onto reservoir embankment, you can walk around most of the way. If you go counter clockwise, folowing the mile markers, around 6 miles you will come to a "no tresspassing" gate. Go through it, and at 6.5 miles, just before the dam, on the right you will see a radio tower and a little dirt path that goes out by a cematary on Witmer Road, go out that way (steep climb down the embankment to path), turning L on Witmer and cross in front of the dam on Witmer road back to the parking lot for a total of 7.3 miles. Or do it in reverse, going in front of dam on Witmer, turn right on dirt road by cemetary . . .

I was here for a Soccer game. Decent field but no bathroom or port a potty. I saw people peeing in the brush. Also, no garbage. I am a firm believer that noone should litter and was disappointed that there wasn't a trash can.

Very low key state park with tennis courts, basketball, amd everything necessary for a simple walk or to congregate with family for get togethers.Only complaint is access to the restrooms which are spaced a great distance from alot of the park.In addition to that the restrooms are closed well before park close.Other than that, it's great

Walking the elevated pathway provides an amazing view of the surrounding area and seeing the enormity of the project is hard to believe when you are walking or running it. The lodge and the main parking lot are on two separate roads and are not attached by a sidewalk which is a bit odd... didn't get to see the inside of the building yet

Two areas to walk or run at this park. The park on the Saunders Settlement entrance offers exercise machines along the trail for visitors to stop and use. If you'd rather walk, or run, and time yourself, the Military Road entrance offers a beautiful path along the to of the reservoir marked for mileage.

Absolutely beautiful place for a party! We had a retirement dinner here for my husband and even though it rained, we were cozy inside! The downfall is that the max comfortable capacity is about 50 people unless you luck out and can enjoy the glass doors open to the outside so you can spread out. Lost a ? on the rating because I asked for a peek inside before our party to plan for set up and didn't receive it. THEN I was aggravated that the Parks employees came to clean up right in the middle of our party. They claim their papers read I had it from 9am-4:30pm (odd since it's only a 4hour rental) but our time was from 3-7pm. Sadly, as they were cleaning up anyway since I couldn't produce my contract, my guests felt it was time to go and they did. It was very awkward as we still had guests arriving thinking they were getting there midway, not at the end.

If you head over to the reservoir, you will see an access road added to the side of the reservoir. This is a paved pathway up to the top and is perfect for getting your heart rate up.

Huge park with something for everyone. Lots of long trails, Nature, playground, baseball and basketball courts, and even exercise stops and equipment to use and work out! Plenty of parking too and restrooms

This park is great, very enjoyable for anyone of any age. The grounds crew really does keep the park looking great. The track is always well kept, they cut the grass on both sides of the walking track & they recently installed work out areas along the path as well. They have two bathroom facilities, one located by the baseball diamonds and the other closer to the playground. On a recent visit with my niece, both Her & I enjoyed the playground, I felt like a kid again. Great atmosphere.
