Great view of Lake Niagara. Toronto sits in the background. The water is almost at your feet. There are steps down. Be careful. The park sits in a neighborhood, minimal parking. Canadian Flag. Must visit. Try to go at night to get the view of Toronto’s skyline lit up.

You must be in search of the best sunset view. Well you finally found it! This park is a hidden gem which took us years of searching. Best sunset view you can ever find. A small park located at a very nice silent residential neighbourhood in Niagara on the lake. Very nice place for a family picnic, family time just sat down enjoy the fresh air as you watch the sun set calmly through the night. Plenty of garbage bin around so there’s no reason to leave any clutter behind. Parking is very limited. I thing there’s only 4 side street spots available with 2 hour limit. You may have to find residential side street parking during peak times “weekends”. Not much lightings in the park at night so you may have to prepare if you okay to stay late at night. Attached some we took first week of October. Sun is like cherry red at this time of the year. We sat down to witness how it looks from sunset till dusk and no doubt, it’s amazing. if you think this review is helpful, do drop us a like below. Enjoy

This is a nice little park with a few benches and a couple picnic tables. We went to it for the first time in years and was surprised to see the little beach that was once there, has fallen victim to the high water levels. You can still sit on the flat rocks and enjoy a dip in the refreshing waters. One of my favourite places to watch the sunset...even though last night's was hidden behind the clouds :(

Calmest place. You can see less people here as this is not a popular spot. I just sat and listened to the waves. So peaceful.

Amazing sunset. On a good day you would see silhouette of CNTower and the city and other cities. There’s a beach on the foot of the hill. Hint: free park but limited parking space

Nice small waterfront park with some seating and tables. Great place to watch the sun set, but little parking.

My cousins told us this is where the best Sunset spot to see. They were not wrong. So I took everything to capture the Sun setting and video record it on a timelapse for the entire time we were there to see it. The experience was nothing but amazing. We watched the whole timelapse clip, and to my astonishment, the clouds and the water were moving toward us as if we were riding a ship going to the Sun, fast-forwarding like Earth is giving us a show we will never ignore. The Park is a beautiful spot for people who wants to let go and pass the time and think about the peace, quiet, and serenity from a busy day of work—resetting yourself to a delightful start. It was an experience that we will never forget.

Ryerson Park is amazing. If you can time it out for sunset it's quite spectacular. It looks like a scene from a movie with Toronto silhouetted in the background. Photo taken on may 22 around 8:30pm. The only thing to note is parking is quite limited. Finding a spot is can be difficult.

Quaint park at the end of Niagara Blvd with ample parking for about 7 vehicles for 1hr. The park lends itself for enjoyment of the vast Niagara River as you gaze outward into vast waters occasionally glimpse of sea vessels off in distance may jog across your timeline. The park is small but offers up 4 picnic tables for enjoyment, however the shoreline can be walked. The best feature is the homes adjacent to the park for leisure stroll.

Unbelievably beautiful! There's not much parking, so you kind of have to be lucky but it is worth it.

No words to explain the beauty of this place... Really a great place to get lost in nature..

A decent place for a family picnic and also to dive into lake with small beach. There are only four parking slots available and max one hour is allowed. So if you get a parking spot then it’s your lucky day. Not that much crowded when I visited in first week of August. Very nice view of the lake and close to the downtown

Drove long distance to get to Ryerson Park. Stopped at sunset to cheer up. W/in 3 mins had a $150 ticket slapped on my windshield. Sign at top of post shows <1 hr P (which is what you see looking over tops of cars). So you think your good to park, but sign below that apparently restricts parking to between a couple checkered signs with no verbiage on those. Apparently park only allows about 4 cars to park there legally. Everyone else gets a $150 ticket. Don’t waste time and money and don’t let NOTL take advantage of you as well. There are other areas along Lake Ontario with nice views and more abundant parking like areas of St Catherine (Port Dalhousie ) and nice restaurants around there as well.

Serene park close to a beautiful town. The neighborhood around the park is quaint, and beautiful. Not a beach type location as there's no sand but there's a little path very close to the water that reeks of algae decay. There are a lot of benches if you wanna stay in the park and have a picnic. Street parking for 4-5 cars also available.

Beautiful area to stop and stroll through a green grass park and see the water front. Could see Toronto skyline. No trash, parking was street side parallel parking in a neighborhood. Felt safe.

Beautiful and tranquil spot to relax, and get a good view of the Lake of Ontario. Toronto is just on the other side of the lake. We dropped by this park on our way back to Toronto. Definitely a gem.

A multi-million dollar view. Find the stairs and walk down to the shore. Bring a picnic. Enjoy!

A quite park and beach on the shore of Lake Ontario . The neighborhood is beautiful and has rustic feel to it . The view from the park is breathtaking specially during the sunset.

I lived in NOTL from 1999 to 2010, minus one year in Finland and didn't discover this park until my last year there but absolutely loved it. Once I'm able to get through the border and back to town, which I've been to many times since but haven't lately cos of covid, I absolutely want to go spend some time in this park. I have many found memories here picking out rocks, looking at the Toronto skyline, and reading books on the rocks.

Great lookout point in Notl. There are some picnic tables and benches for sitting and resting. You can also go down to the water at the shore. Great local spot too.

Great quiet spot to end the night. I would acknowledge that residents are getting annoyed with people parking on the residential streets so please be considerate of that. It is technically allowed (and free). However, I noticed a few cars got tickets for parking too close to a driveway.

This is a nice quiet little park hidden in Niagara On The Lake. It has a small beach but lots of small rocks as you walk into the water. So bring water shoes and picnic basket. Note, no bathrooms in the park.
