This is a really nice park to sit and relax or have a picnic or go for a walk. The views are absolutely magnificent with some picnic tables and benches around with amazing views to take a seat and enjoy. As you can see in the pics it’s beautiful here 🇨🇦💯🇨🇦

Amazing place to enjoy during summer! It has free parking area. The whole niagra city on the lake is amazing and pretttyyy🩵 It was fun visiting this place with friends and family. People were doing kayaking and riding the boats 🛥️! Also there is walk way area which makes it more beautiful! Place gets bit crowded on weekends. Also, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby to the other streets. The garden hill area is best to rest and enjoy the view of sea and also the other side u can see USA

This place is very beautiful, you will enjoy the view, Ontario lake crossing that old Niagara fort which is part of USA. You will be able to see the Toronto sky scrapper buildings including CN Tower. This place is so calm and romantic. Downtown of Niagara on the lake is few meters away, you can take a walk there.

The park is just amazing. The view is breathtaking and Niagara River just reminds me of the beach. It is colder near the water though but every corner of the park is just picture perfect.

This was my first time going to Canada. I saw online, when I was planning my trip to Niagara Falls, that Niagara on the Lake was a must see. I have to agree now that I've been. It's a very beautiful place the flowers are so pretty and well kept. We walked around town and to the lake. The lake is very nice as well. Benches in the shade to sit and admire the scenery. I'm very glad we didn't miss visiting here.

The drive to Niagra on the lake to this park was amazing. Both side of the road had vineyard and lots of greenery. Before heading to the place.. there will be a free parking. You can choose to park there ans walk to the spot. The parking will come before the restaurant or shopping area. But if you don't care about free parking, you can park next to this park for a fee. Not sure on the fee. But the place is lively 😍.

We traveled to the Niagara region after visiting the falls with plans to sit somewhere nice and have lunch. We seen Queen's Royal Park area and the parking lot then said perfect. Picnic tables around and lots of people with families and others using the trails for walking, hiking and bike riding. I found several spots that were open from the tree lines and took some pictures of the Niagara River and also with a powerful lens photographed Youngstown across in the USA. Loved the park and views.

Absolutely stunning small park with a great view of the lake. It is a small walk from the main street on Niagara-on-the-lake. Across the water you can see the outlines of the old Fort Niagara, in New York State built sometime in the 1700's. It has several picnic benches in summer if you plan to sit down for a quick bite. There is a rock wall along the water edge that provides additional make shift seating and an excellent back ground for pictures! Parking is paid and somewhat limited so if you have already parked somewhere around the main street, just walk down to the park.

A beautiful place to spend the evening.. there are many vineyards and wineries on the way to this marvellous place.. parking Is right outside on the road (paid).. a graceful gazebo is present at the centre of the park.. a small beach area ( water is not so clean) for children’s to play in.. lawn area to spend time with your family..a place to kayak (many people were kayaking).. queens street is walkable and have many restaurants and ice cream Parlor on it. An Ideal place for a perfect evening.

We stumbled onto the westernmost area of the park about 10 minutes before sunset. It's only a week after Labor Day and there was plenty of free parking in the small lot. A wonderful happy surprise. No filters used. Beautiful!

If you are visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake, stop by at Queen's Royal Park for a relaxing walk in the cool and breezy surrounding. Nice little beach and beautiful view of the lake. There was also a plague commemorating individuals who swam across Lake Ontario. Interesting to note the ages of swimmers and length of time taken to cross the lake. Nice spot to take some beautiful photos of this place framed by matured trees, beach, rocks, gazebo and lake. Not crowded maybe not many people have discovered it yet.

Beautiful place to visit in falls. The streets were looking so colourful and beautiful. The park is very nice place to seat and relax. Evening time is the best time to visit. Sunset looks so beautiful. The trail near lake was so clean and best place to walk with lake view. The park was huge and it has some beautiful locations to click pictures. The only issue was parking. They have many parking slots but its little bit far from the park.

It's a great spot to sit down and look out on the water. On clear days you can see Toronto. And there is a historical site you can look at too. The gazebo is picturesque. There is a lovely little path anyone can walk along and it's right next to the water. Can't wait to go back.

Great place to spend time with the family. Enjoyed our time near the water. It was kind of like a family picnic. From here we went to Niagara Falls. On the way we have stopped at the US Canada bridge and also stopped Niagara parks sign and it’s great.

We had a great time at Queens Royal park today. Perfect weather. Great spot. Please keep in mind there is very limited parking here and it’s very tight. If there is no parking spot then you have to reverse or do a 3 point turn to go back through the same exit. Mobile data for us was a little choppy and the parking meter only takes coins or you have to use the honk mobile app. So if you don’t have the app downloaded I would recommend downloading the app ahead of time before getting there. Aside from that it was a great time out and perfect spot to have a small family picnic.

Very scenic park along the Lake Ontario. Park is maintained well and maybe crowded during weekends. Mandatory paid parking. Washrooms are available and it’s very clean and well maintained. Toronto skyline maybe visible if the sky is clear . Some buildings like old Niagara fort at USA side is clearly visible. This place is something unique.

Beautiful place to just take in the view, breathe some fresh air and have a moment with nature. Great path for walking, lot's of benches to sit and rest and watch the waves and the boats. We saw a lot of dogs on the paths so I believe it is dog friendly. Everyone we encountered was kind and greeted us with salutations and a smile. I love this about Canada!! Overall this is a pristine park, well managed and well kept, gorgeous horizon for the water people, which I am, it's got something for everyone.

This is probably one of the best spots of you plan to visit Niagara on the lake. You can spend some time by the lake and then explore the fascinating town and lovely eating joints at a stone throw distance. The parking is paid and hard to find but not difficult to the point of frustration. If you walk along the shore line you can see the point where the Niagara river meets the lake Ontario and some well preserved historical sites

  • 5/5 Koray K. 3 years ago on Google
The park is located just beside the lake and the views are amazing. It is a popular place for photoshoots due to the lake views. There is metered parking available just in front of the park but you may also park in the surrounding streets where free parking is available. There are several benches to enjoy the view and a few picnic tables for a meal with a great view. In case you need, there is a playground only 150-200 meters away from here in Simcoe Park

Nice sunny day and spectacular views! Plaque celebrating swims across Lake Ontario and a very nice gazebo! You can see across the water to NY state, Old Fort Niagara. From this spot of the Niagara River, this is a good start to journey down south to Niagara Falls. We visited here one Saturday afternoon and it was bustling with locals and tourists alike. There are drift woods strewn along the shore to sit on and to enjoy the scenery. Amidst the traffic, the park is peaceful.

Went there on Dec 10th and the parking was free. Very nice bonus before Christmas. The park offers a nice walk along the quayside. You can also see Fort Missisauga.

You can kayak and paddle boat. A bit crowded. Lot of paid parking spots available. Swimming is not allowed. Good place to relax and walk. You can see toronto city skyline far away.
