👍👍 This was a little side trip that ended up being a fun stop for us. This area is a bird sanctuary. We only saw a few birds, but there was no shortage of snails along the path. The sign says there are scarlet tanagers there. I reeeeaally wanted to see one, but it was not meant to be. Lovely, pea... People often mention nice, area, walk, water, beach, park, great, Great, small, beautiful,

Absolutely beautiful Buffalo waterfront. Craft Fair today was a fantastic beautiful Buffalo summer day 😊. The craftsman and artisans selling their wares. Blue Aura Jewelry was absolutely out of this world. Very beautiful highly recommend this place. Take the kids and the dogs.

I discovered this place by making a wrong turn and do not regret it at all. There is a parking lot, restrooms with a water fountain, kayak rental and launch, beach, beer garden, slides, and fun relics to climb on. We tried to fly a kite there and ended up enjoying the sunset. It is a beautiful park!

Beautiful place to catch a Buffalo Sunset. Paved trails for those with walking issues, we went down when the see saws were there. Free to ride. There was a nice seating area for folks to grab a drink and enjoy the lake views.

Really lovely bike/walk trail. Beer garden by the beach area and would love to come back when that’s open. The dog loved it.

Another of Buffalo’s hidden gems! What a delightful area for a walk, a bike ride or just to sit and fish or people watch. We even sat and had a couple of beers from one of the vendors and they also sold food. I also liked the assortment or lawn games available to play. Just another one of those places that make you feel like you’re away somewhere on vacation when you’re actually just minutes from home.

Rise for —-the presence of the spirits that lift you, propel & take you onwards. The trail-ways of ‘Wilkeson Pointe’ are simply stunning, in summertime & beyond . Set alongside the lake, just past Buffalo’s buzz line . In another instance, of the distance, delicacy on the shores, you were born for. A playful purpose of planets. A cosmic glow in your radiance. Flickers from your light, to catch that smile, in winds of_ To deliciously gain way. To such warm enhancements. The sheen from the drizzled light, pours into your arms.

I go fishing there, bring a chair, and a cold one. Last week caught a 20 pound catfish. Usually a decent spot for about everything, bass, sunny, perch, cats, occasionally walleye

My daughter and I went to the Lantern Festival. Some people got up and told their stories of love and loss. We enjoyed putting our lanterns together and sending messages to our loved ones who continue to guide us from above 💖

This is one of my favorite places to bring those who come to visit me in Buffalo in the spring/summer/early autumn. Bring your dogs, your bike, or your skates. If you like kayaking, there's a kayak launch/dock as well. The small beach here is dog friendly, and many people bring their water-obsessed pups to play in the nicer weather. On the weekends in summer, there's a food truck and a beer trailer for a nosh or libations. Occasionally bands will play on the roof of the beer trailer too. It's such a nice area to walk around and so many beautiful views. Great picnic spots too! On cooler days, definitely bring a jacket because it's always a little breezy or very windy by the water. Enjoy the outdoors while you can!

It's great little park to go if you want a nice view of the lake. Busy but not too busy during the summer. Has picnic tables and some nice walking paths and bike paths. I highly recommend it.

What a gorgeous little park!! We stopped at the Beer Garden for a beer before making our way down to the water. A great place to take family photos.

Very overly expensive bathroom and decks at the tax payers expense. The building is absolutely unnecessary for 3 separate bathrooms

We had a fantastic time here, light rain notwithstanding. You can tell that there was significant investment put in to turn this into the lovely urban oasis that it is. Loved the public art and the views of downtown Buffalo. Just prepare for the weather as the place does get exposed to the elements. We easily found street parking during our visit.

Absolutely gorgeous spot, come here on a calm day and see the breathtaking view of the water. Would also be really great to see at sunset I imagine! Great biking path, fun place to walk around or take the kids. Highly recommend!

Nice quiet place just off of route five to sit and watch the sunset. Just a little further down the road is the grain mill that they light up at night. Also a nice place to park to walk the near by path or ride your bike

A very nice area for relaxing! Went here to see the sunset and it was still pretty despite the clouds! There’s a rocky little beach that you can’t swim in but I loved listening to the waves and they have a couple pairs of wooden chairs. There’s some paved pathways going around the grassy area and a small hill. This picture was taken behind the hill where there’s a nice grassy area to sit and hang out. Great place for couples, families, friends, and dogs.

Really lovely, my friend and I have found our new walking place. The restrooms are great, AC, well lit, running water, air dryers, nice and clean. The nature trails are short but a nice little walk to see various wild flowers, birds and bunnies, probably good if you have very young ones. A small playground is toward the center-back. The paved paths by the water are gorgeous views with the wind, stroller and (leashed) pet friendly, and lead out bordering Fuhrman Blvd where you can head all the way down in both directions for a longer walk. The parking lot is moderate, will be filled up during popular times but plenty of free parking on Fuhrman Blvd.

Perfect little pit stop to gather your thoughts, brighten your day, have an impromptu coffee or play date. Staff at the boat lot is super friendly, park is well maintained. And the view can't be beat.

This is just a cool and ridiculously amazing place to be - but - there are just a lot of unfinished details and rough edges... Always feels like things are unfinished - but with that said this is a must visit place to hang out chill relax and patiently wait while things continue to improve and get added on.

This park is a small yet quaint. It is located right on the waterfront and has beautiful art installations that work with the wind. During the summer time there is a Beer Garden present. It's family for the little kids and a nice place to walk your dogs.

Will bring my dog and a picnic to enjoy the scenery next time. But even in a crisp early spring afternoon you can enjoy walking along the water and get a sense of calm.

Such a beautiful place, we went very close to the closing time, so all the shops were closed. But there is a snack bar, and kayak renting, and a kayak dock even if you want to put your own in the water. Beautiful gardens and artwork throughout. Access to the water, although the sign say no swimming, I've definitely seen people in the water.

Unique dinning experience. Ample parking as well as handicap parking, entrance e is also acomadating for the handicapped as well. Their specialty is BBQ, brisket, ribs in various dishes, piled brisket and pork and chicken along with with a choise of various sides. There are also other options as well. They also have a bar and a variety of alcoholic beverage to choose from. Service is friendly and acomadating. Reservations are not necessary. Mask is mandatory until you're seated. Social distancing is observed. Nice change in dinning.

Great place to bring the family. They have volleyball nets, place for kids to have fun, and a good place for sunset

  • 4/5 Rowan H. 4 years ago on Google
This park is great for adults and young kids alike. In the summer the park lot fills quickly, but there is ample parallel parking spots along the road. There is a small play area, lots of looping paths, a small hill with cool spinning wind art made from giant spoons and a small native plant garden. A small beach with a mix of sand and pebbles. As well as a big field to fly kites in. In the summer there are huts to rent bikes or kayaks, though its not a great place for first time kayak renters. For adults it is a popular less crowded place to watch the sun set, though once it does, have a jacket because it cools off rapidly.

I’ve taking my dog to swim here for years! Now it’s really been built up, and even more dogs come to run free on the dog beach! Plus, the premises sell pizza, snacks, and beer! It’s a great way to let your pup play leash free and have yourself some drinks as well :)
