Great shape. Pretty open fairways. Awesome location, around Niagara Falls hiking trails. Even got to see some deer on the course!

I played this course with 14 friends two days ago. The course is very forgiving, ie. you don't need to hit a straight ball consistently to score reasonably well. Unfortunately, the marshal asked my foursome at least three times to play faster despite the fact that we weren't slowing up the group behind and were playing at a 4.5 hour round speed. The two groups in front of us had a number of our best players so they quickly pulled away from us and the foursome behind us.

I had an excellent time here. The staff were friendly and the pace of the game was not rushed or delayed. The course itself is outstanding and very well maintained. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this course. The helicopters do fly by, but it wasn't a big deal. Also the burgers at the half-way house are fabulous end to a great day.

Fairly open course makes it forgiving for the golfers who struggle with drives but the distances make it a challenge for those with more experience. Greens were very good, of fair speed and excellent condition. Proper sand in the bunkers made getting out fun not frustrating. When I played in early September, the helicopters were flying over the course fairly frequently, sometimes minutes apart. I am sure that some passengers clearly saw me waving at them, they got that close. The noise did not bother me but it certainly could others. And do take the time to take the path down the gorge to the river and visit the Whirlpool. There's no ball and clubs involved but it's worth it if you like being outdoors. Enjoy!

Classic, Stanley Thompson golf course. Excellent shape. Only draw back no driving range. A practice hitting area hitting into net for warming up would suffice. Niagara Parks get your restaurants open. Wonderful venues at the 3 courses all closed wasting tax dollar money now that Covid restrictions are over !!

Being a "casual" player (2-3 times/year) I can't judge the quality of the course too well (some of the long grass seemed to "eat balls") but I can judge service and value. And for $100, I expect to be able to take all of my 120 strokes without being literally harassed by a grumpy marshal. When you take a reservation for a group of 15 players, you have to expect that there MAY BE a handful who aren't ready for the Tour just yet.

I unfortunately missed out in playing this course on last year's trip due to a heavy rain storm and was disappointed. Turns out my disappointment was warranted because this course is really nice. The fairways are narrower than the other city courses in Niagara Falls, and is challenging but not overly. It is very well taken care of and was a great day overall. The only negative is the tour helicopters that are constantly flying overhead (not Niagara Parks fault at all). Initially it was annoying, but we got used to it by the 4th hole. You will enjoy your time here for sure.

My group of group golfers annually visit Niagara for a week of golf in the area. Whirlpool is my favourite . Its an older golf course but it has so many interesting features such as back to back par 5's, elevated greens, doglegs, lush fairways and rough as well as good greens and bunkers.

Golf course is at best a 2 star rating. Nothing memorable at all. Called whirlpool but no views at all of the whirlpool. Every hole is exactly like the next one. Would never play or recommend thos golf course to anyone.

We started our tee time at 11:30 on Sunday, May 7. We kept up with the group ahead of us and left a ground behind us far behind. Unfortunately, the marshal (we did not know his name, just knowing who is a slim man) was very rude to us and questioned our golfing ability and criticized us for being slow which caused us to have to rush our play and almost hit a golfer one group ahead of us. Let's hope the golf course will hire a knowledgeable marshall who can figure out which groups are slowing down the pace.

A classic Stanley Thompson course, easily one of the top 5 public courses in Niagara (Grand Niagara, Pen Lakes, Battlefield @ Legends, Whirlpool, and Thundering Waters). The course was a little beat up since I played it earlier in the year, but with later season golf (September) and the record volume every course has seen due to Covid-19, that is almost expected. This course is a great track and always a pleasure to play - keep an eye out for mid to late afternoon deals.

The Whirlpool Course is one of 3 Niagara Parks Golf Courses. I play the Whirlpool Course at least once a week. I walk when I play. The course is in nice shape. It’s watered daily. The fairways and greens are cut and maintained daily. It’s a joy to play. The course is well laid out and a real challenge for all level golfers. It’s price point to most golf courses at the same level is better than most. Don’t hesitate to play this Niagara Gem. You won’t be disappointed. The staff are nice and helpful

Like the course, Marshall's a little aggressive and uninformed. But the most annoying thing was the tourist helicopters that fly around the course non stop

I would say the course is well taken care of. The T boxes, fairways and greens were a pleasure to play. The sand traps were in great shape as well. The price is reasonable and staff was courteous and friendly. I didn't eat there so no comments on food. The only drawback was a helicopter that flies over the course as it is noisy on the front 9. I would play it again.

Course was in good shape but did not offer the layout or features you'd expect with the nature around you. Advertising makes it seem like you will have river/whirlpool views on the course but you do not. Better courses in the area for the cost.

Absolutely beautiful course! Great conditions with a clean environment. Fairways and tee boxes were prestine. This was my first time playing there and I will definitely be back!

Excellent Stanley Thompson design course. Love how they have a great balance of par 3/4/5s and not every hole looks the same. Greens excellent. A bit pricey and pro shop closed early- for the price I would expect the full experience (after round drink/meal)
