Please do not miss these islands on your visit to the Niagara Falls State Park. Near parking lot #3 past the Horseshoe falls this little gem is tucked away. The rushing rapids going through here are beautiful and amazing.

One of the most amazing places you'll ever see!! Just the shear amount of clear, fresh water going by these little islands every second is mind-blowing and mesmerizing! Very beautiful and easy to get a great view of rushing water and intense rapids. And, to think people have been silly enough to want to ride through this in barrels?!

Gorgeous island located near the horse shoe falls. You cross over a narrow bridge to get there. Beautiful natural scenic spot!

What a beautiful piece of heaven. I could sit here and listen to the rush of the water all day long. I got lost in the sound. Truly magnificent. We also spent some time feeding the squirrels and the birds in the park. Make sure to pack a picnic lunch for yourself and the little creature that inhabit the park.

I could sit and take in the peace of this spot all day. Three Sisters is a peaceful tucked away little gem of an area. Great photo opportunities, especially beautiful in the fall with the leaves changing color.

Don't like big crowds? This is the place to visit! Continue on from parking lot 2 to parking lot 3 for a quiet picnic or walk the trail to see the rapids.

Beautiful location with dedicated parking, restrooms, picnic tables and bbq grills. Lots of birds, mist from the falls, walking and biking trails.

Neat set of 3 tiny islands connected by footbridges. Allows for different more tranquil views of the water and views upstream. Trolley stop is at entrance.

Love islands!? I do! This place is gorgeous. The island is right near horse shoe falls. Just cross over a narrow bridge to enjoy this beautiful natural spot! It is so scenic. It is a great place to get a unique view of the upper rapids as the water makes its way to Niagara Falls. I'd go any season, anytime of the year but I like the spring and summer best as a time to visit.

This place and its history have cast a spell over us. On the way from parking lot 3 to the Niagara Falls (you should definitely walk) it is halfway and is very easy to reach. A highlite on the way.

Easy to access, there is a nearby parking for 20 mins. 3 mins walking, there is another big parking. Big restrooms nearby the hike. It’s good to visit and see the birds stay calm while around the water flow is really strong.

Beautiful spot, though not as scenic or dramatic as the main waterfalls. The place does not get as much foot traffic so it's ideal for those who want to stay away from the crowds and enjoy some peace and quiet. The tram stops here. Just make sure to make a note of the day's schedule.

Definitely something to check out on Goat Island. See the Niagara River and rapids in its natural state, with very little man-made surroundings.
