Do NOT waste your time & money at this lousiest restaurant. Our order came after 1 hour & 10 mins, although we were told that it will take 20 - 25 mins and when it came, it wasn't fresh. The meat seemed cooked much earlier as it was hard to chew even. The portions were very tiny & the prices were like a fine dining joint. Many items in their menu were not available. We ordered Chicken 65, it came in a small plate with only 6 small cubes on bone-in chicken and was priced at around CAD. 19 plus tax. It's an absolute rip off. The washroom were dirty and sink faucet was broken. There was only one guy at the cash, who was the server and doing everything and probably just one amatuer chef, with no formal training/ experience. All the dishes were tasteless and were total waste of money. I definitely would NOT recommend this place. Two thumbs down 👎🏼👎🏼

I get it...Covid has been hard on food businesses...you can't prep ahead as things can go waste. But this was a negative experience of epic proportions. Where to begin. Like others, I got lured in with the highly rated South Indian food and the name (this place is dirt as compared to any original ICH in India) There was no other patron or order when we went in at 1.40 PM. Sit anywhere, each table is equally sad in views or placement. Get your order taken by a sad, bored female who's body language says why are you even here. Me ( excited): Can I get Kerala paratha? Nope Me: umm can I get Chicken Biriyani. Nope...no biriyani today. Ok let's get the chicken fried rice...can I get the Kerala chicken curry Nope...get the chilly chicken. The mysore masala dosa was very spicy. The food took ages to arrive. The cheese dosa for my kid came first, the second dosa came after 5 mins but my food (fried rice and chilly chicken) came after 15 more minutes. By then, my family had almost finished. The mango lassi was at room temperature. The ac was not working. DURING A HEAT WAVE. Water wasn't cold. And to add to the aggravation, the entire walls of the place are covered with motivational posters that are more suitable in a gym. The poster in front of my table said "the pain you feel today will be the strength you feel tomorrow" I feel my pain already. That's why I have the strength to write this review. Photos attached. Ps: No one came or ordered food in the hour we were there...

If you are craving for South Indian food and happen to be at Niagara Falls, DO NOT go to this restaurant!! They only serve masala dosa and cheese dosa in the name of South Indian food. There is no Idli, Vada or Uttapam in their menu. Even the sambar and coconut chutney is not up to the mark. The only good thing about this restaurant is the server who served us our food. He was sweet and friendly and I’m only giving an extra 3rd star in the review for him!

Food had!! Chicken Biriyani 4/5 The flavour and the quantity is good. Kind of resembled the taste from back home. Chicken had that flavour in to it. But the amount of masala is bit lacking Beef Biriyani 3.5/5 Same flavour of rice but the Beef didn’t had any flavour and taste to it. Porotta 4/5 Though it’s an half cooked Porotta i still got that taste from back home and the main thing is thickness is lesser than whatever you get in other places. Easily can have two or three Appam 3.5/5 Was decent Beef Roast 4/5 The masala has the taste but not the Beef but still with all the ingredients it tasted good. Beef curry 3.5/5 Same masala with gravy but the beef didn’t had much flavour. The price overall is quite on the higher side coz of the Niagara is a tourist destination. The wait time was okay The staffs were good .

The staff was very friendly and quick. Our table order filtered coffee, mango Lassi, and lime soda. We were all very satisfied with our drinks. The coffee really hit the spot. We also order dosa and wow that was good a great blend of flavor and spices. Only complaint the restroom can be a little more cleaner.

First of all they have almost every items on their menu. The place is neat. The quantity is more than enough for a person. And the food do have authentic flavour. Compared to other kerala restaurants in the niagara falls the price is couple of dollars high but its reasonable that its located near falls.

Horrible atmosphere inside the restaurant. Meat smell sucks and food taste is also horrible. Ordered dosa and fried rice. The food is not edible and tasted so bad. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT FOR VEGETARIANS!

I had the pleasure of dining at the Indian Coffee House located at 5077 Centre St, Niagara Falls, and I must say, it's not an overly hyped place. Initially, when I saw all the positive reviews, I couldn't believe it, especially in a tourist destination like Niagara Falls, where finding authentic Kerala food seemed unreal. I've traveled to various tourist attractions around the world, and most South Indian restaurants tend to cater tastes that could satisfy both locals and tourists. However, here at Indian Coffee House, I genuinely felt like I was enjoying authentic dishes straight from a Kerala restaurant. I ordered the porotta and beef combo, and the first bite transported me directly to Kerala. The layers in the porotta were beautifully done and fresh. We also tried the chicken biriyani and banana fry. The chicken biriyani was an absolute showstopper. If I'm in town, this will be my go-to place for biryani. The banana fry was perfectly deep-fried, and the banana was ripe to perfection, leaving me with no complaints. It paired wonderfully with the beef curry we ordered, and the flavors brought back many cherished memories of Kerala. I want to salute the chef at this restaurant for maintaining the same authentic taste from Kerala. I hope they continue to do so for many years to come. I'll definitely return to this location with my family whenever I'm in town.

If you are looking for authentic kerala cuisine this a good place to give it a try. They have managed to make all recipes in its original taste and form. Biriyani tastes yum and we can actually call it a BIRIYANI considering other restaurants just mixing rice with some curry and serving as biriyani. The prices are so reasonable for the vicinity. The quantity of the biriyani is fair with good number of meat or fish in it. Must try restaurant if visiting Niagara falls. The staffs are so friendly too.

a top-notch dining establishment in Niagara Falls The atmosphere at this place is quite pleasant. The food was delicious, and they also offer a respectable amount. The prices are typical. They have sufficient seating capacity and offer parking in the back. All of the tables and restrooms are kept in good condition. Staff members were really helpful and nice especially, Overall, it was a pleasant encounter. Must Try Fish curry and Chilly Chicken.

A neat and clean place with chair for toddlers too. Ambience is purely of south of India. Tried Masala Chai, it was freshly made and just awesome and worked live sanjeevni in a chilling winter afternoon. Location is easy and prices are very reasonable. Couldn't try food items this time. The stars are for quality of Masala Tea

Wife and I went in for masala chai one late evening while in Niagara Falls. The place was clean and the staff was very polite and welcoming. We ended up splitting a masala dosa and 2 chais. Prices were very reasonable and everything was delicious. I would recommend it if you are wanting some South Indian cuisine while in Niagara Falls.

The best Masala dosa and chicken cutlet I had in Canada so far. Such a lovely staff. Both Harsha and Lawrence Chetan were amazing. Thank you and definitely be back for more😍

Best south Indian restaurant near Niagara falls. Few pros, you would get typical south Indian food, it has a parking lot behind the restaurant, food portion was adequate. However few cons are, they are a bit expensive and taking more than 35 min to serve each table. Other than that, it was a Good experience at this restaurant. Don't miss to try the Kerala parotta, chicken roast, beef curry and filter coffee.

Parking - Have few parking slots (3-4 slots) Service - 3/5 Freshness - 2/5 Ambience - 3/5 Price - $ Portion size - 3/5 Special note - We ordered Kappa Biriyani and received Beef with Manioc. Please note this Kappa Biriyani has no rice which we happened to know after ordering. Either oil that fried manioc or manioc are old so it tasted at some points of the dish. Most of the manioc pieces were not boiled properly. Fried rice was good by the way.

This palak paneer quite possibly might be the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. And don't even get me started on the mango lassi... When I get asked about my favorite part of my trip to Niagara Falls, this restaurant is my answer 🔥

Currently, it is my favorite halal restaurant to eat at Niagara Falls. Great customer service and excellent fresh food. We started with the chicken cutlets, and it was very yummy and crunchy. We then ordered the dosa, butter chicken, and mutton roast along with kerela parathas. The mutton was out of this world delicious. Butter chicken was very creamy and tasty. With the parathas, it was an excellent combination. We ended with the masala chai, which was hot, and it hit the spot kinda taste. Highly recommend spot and had free parking, which is a bonus.

Halal South Indian (Kerala) food, tastes amazing. Finally tasted a good indian food near Niagara Falls. ROASTED BEEF is a must try. Dine in experience was good, ambient, and good for family dine environment. The server lady is very good, made us feel welcomed. Free Parking space is there too.

The dosa and sambar were of average quality, but the chutney stood out as quite good. For those familiar with the traditional taste of dosa, this might not fully meet expectations.

The most darling server we ever did meet. We wanted authentic Kerala food and what a treat it was!! Every dish we were served was so delicious!! Wish we lived closer so that we could eat there regularly.

Food was good and service was ok. Seems like all dishes made when ordered so they are fresh. However, that takes a long time. They are unable to handle the load of customers. Our food took a while and they forgot our chicken cutlet. Portion ok size for the price but it's a tourists area.

My family and I were visiting Niagara from New York City. We had to wait for a few minutes for a table . Hailing from South India. The wait was worth it Parotta, fish curry and chicken roast were Authentic South Indian and we loved it. Only thing I felt was Quantity for fish curry could have been little more. Definitely would recommend this place .

The shop is just attracting customers by using the brand name "Indian Coffee House". - Overpriced dishes which lacked taste but had sufficient quantity. - Food was served only after 40 minutes of ordering. - Congested interior and less parking space. - Lack of adequate number of employees during peak times, but the employees were friendly.

Chicken cutlet was delicious and hot. Beef roast tasted like it was microwaved and bland . The fish curry tasted like it was burned. The Marsala tea and filter coffee was delicious. The Sambar looked sad

I would not recommend this place for vegetarians. The food was cold and the sambar, chutney felt like was taken out of refrigerator. The server seemed disinterested in working. I guess the dishes with meat would be good. Not recommended if you are a vegetarian and looking for good South Indian food
