Randomly found this cafe while driving. Although it’s in a school building, once inside the cafe feels warm and welcoming. The owner cooked our food and served us.. He was very nice and the service was great! The coffee was good & food was really tasty. Definitely will visit again.

One of the very very best places I've had lunch in a long time. The food isn't "cookie cutter" fare - it's unique, fresh, adventurous. Pleasant presentation. The flavors of everything made my mouth extremely happy. I had a chicken peach salad that was generous in it's amount of each ingredient and the combination of sweet, savory and salty was a wonderful culinary treat. The goat cheese crostini was an added bonus. The chicken was glazed with a peach BBQ sauce which didn't overpower the moist and tender meat. The large bowl also included walnuts, diced red onion, perfectly crispy bacon and freshly diced peaches. My husband had The Big Dipper sandwich - velvety tender roast beef, lightly cooked onions, cheese, mayo and grilled up crisp and buttery with au jus for dipping. Well done, Joe - keep it up! Excellent, friendly, courteous, attentive service, too. It was our first visit but definitely not our last.

1st off, Jo Ann was a great server. Very helpful and informative. This restaurants food is very high quality and innovative. An example; Curry Butternut Squash soup with apple. Delicious. The Big Dipper sandwich was very tender and tasty. The Bread Pudding with a bourbon glaze and whipped cream topping was awesome. I could eat here everyday.

The food was outstanding. My mouth is watering just thinking about the Big Dipper sandwich, which I highly recommend. They are creative with the combinations of ingredients, as well as the fun names. It's a must try....and try again and again. It's also fun to be inside the historic building. An old high school turned into an art Center. Check it all out!

Terrific little cafe located in an old school converted into a community center. Locally sourced real food. Great people. Street parking mostly I think.

My husband and I went to Starry Night Café today for lunch. It is such a great lunch place, tucked away in the NACC building like a hidden gem. I got the NACC salad, as always. It's SO good!! The homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing is my FAV. It was my husband's 1st time here. He got the homemade chicken pot pie, and he raved about it. The food is amazing 😋 Staff is SO nice and friendly. And it's close to where we work, so this will become a regular lunch spot for us. Thanks, and see ya again soon 😊

How very pleased we were with the delicious catered meal provided by the Starry Night Cafe on August 28th 2023 for our staff of 35. Everything was perfect! From start to finish everyone raved about the Mexican Taco Bar! The chicken was cooked to perfection, the rice and beans were extremely flavorful and the salsa’s had just the right amount of spice. The owner Joe is professional and accommodating, he made sure our event was a success. I would highly recommend Starry Night Cafe!! Cynthia Wojick

If you: Are a local, eat here. If you are on the road and want real food, eat here. If you want take out, get it here. If you have a small or large event and want good food catered by a seasoned professional, this is your place. Simply put, Chef Joe is creating delicious food for anyone from a serious carnivore to a dedicated vegetarian. Healthy options (Keto, Gluten free) and decadent choices are available. I've been eating lunch every week at the Starry Night Cafe since 2019. This food is legit.

This is, by far, my favorite breakfast place. Three of us love it so much, we come every Saturday. Their soups and sandwiches are incredible as well. The prices are fantastic for all he puts into his food. Everything is fresh and often you can have what you want made to order your way. If you haven't tried Starry Night Cafe, you are missing out.

This place was a really neat addition to the arts center. The server was really sweet, and it was a nice quiet, simple place to have a salad, coffee and read my book. 100% will go again!

For breakfast or lunch, Starry Night is fantastic. The food is delicious and the service is on point. I've been several times and am always impressed by how great it is. What's even better, they cater as well. I had them cater a small event at work, and everyone loved it!

I can't believe I've completely forgotten to review this establishment for as long as I've been going there. The Starry Night Cafe is inside the first floor of the NAAC Building (the former NFHS). If you enter from the Portage Rd door its just a couple of rooms down on your left. Everyone is very friendly and completely helpful. The cafe itself has several tables, is surrounded by art (that's for sale) and beautiful renditions of Vincent VanGogh's Starry Night. Over the time I've been going to this cafe I've completely fallen head over heals in love with "The Big Dipper" sandwich. It's described as "slow roasted cabernet braised beef, white cheddar, grilled onions, horseradish aloli on grilled parmesan crusted Italian bread and served with a side of cabernet braising sauce to dip." Its a perfect description of DELICIOUSNESS! Chucks of tender beef, crisp cheesy bread, sweet grilled onions and the slightest tang of the horseradish. The cabernet braising sauce just takes it to the next level of OMG! It's my daughter's and I favorite sandwich EVER! I've also emensely enjoyed a variety of soups, an occasional special of habanero chicken breast sandwich, and more recently, "The Aldebaran Salad" (grilled chicken breast, blue cheese, dried cranberries, red onion, and house made balsamic vinaigrette). Everything is impeccably freshly made to order. Please visit, I promise its worth it! Support small businesses in Niagara Falls.

Very amazing flavors & awesome variety, But! -- very small portions & very pricey. i felt it was over priced for the size of the portion, like i was dining in Lewiston LoL! But flavor-wise, spectacular! Addendum 2022 after rereading my reviews post Covid, more stars are warranted. Just had the cream of mushroom soup - spectacular! Best ive ever had. So thick, almost a stew, total umami !, hearty and i highly recommend it for men with prostrate issues. Cause i read mushrooms are good for that. Prices are probably fine, post Covid, all prices are wacky. When i wrote initial review, that was my only criticism, i felt it a little steep for the size of the portion, but still great tasting food, amazing tastes actually & very nice & competent & professional staff.

Do yourself the favor, order the Big Dipper and thank me later. INCREDIBLE food, price is a little high for the area but NOT for the quality. An absolute hidden gem, and a must for any food connoisseur passing through Niagara Falls
