Staff was not very friendly, horrible customer service. Plus they only take cash in 2021 like seriously , makes no sense. And I specifically asked staff how scary it is, she said people jump out at you and itā€™s very scary. And nothing like that happened. It was really dark and that was the most scary thing. There was nothing scary in that haunted house. Donā€™t waste your money guys. They took $15 cash for this. Such a waste of time and money.

Before any of you read the good reviews please consider looking at the bad ones first. Like what was already said, we (a group of 4) were asked to pay $20/person but we found out later that the rate was actually $15/person (so yeah we got scammed. However the absolute worst part is it isnā€™t even scary. It was more like walking through a museum and looking at mannequins with red painted faces. Only one live actor was present said a total of 3 lines at us. I HIGHLY recommend going to nightmares fear factory instead (and they charge $15/person) as it is way more scary and more than just a ā€œmuseum walk throughā€.

Great Haunted House Experience! I went today - alone on scare Level 2 - and it was brilliant! Itā€™s super dark and you canā€˜t even see your hands. After the first jump scare, I was like okaaaaaay but then the guy (super acting!) started following me and whispered, screamed and came closer - and this was definitely scary but great!!!!! Fully recommend it, if you like haunted houses experience :)

Opted for the ā€œnightmare/hardcoreā€ scenario. Nothing really happened but I will say the guy got us at the very end and thatā€™s why it got a 2 instead of a 1. Really overpriced though. The Ripleys haunted house (Nightmares) is almost half the price and waaaaaay better.

ALERT ALERT BIG WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS HORRIBLE USELESS PLACE...ITS A SCAM This is the biggest rip-off experience. Two of us for $45 literally not even close to scary and we chose the highest level of scary. Little parts are dark only. I was so disappointed walking out of there. You should seriously avoid going into this money trap. Not worth the money at all.

The lady who sells the ticked is a very rude person, it shows that she doesn't like her job, they don't accept debit card and when I wanted to pay cash, she just said no, I don't have change. It was the only place where I saw a bitter employeešŸ‘ŽšŸ‘ŽšŸ‘Ž

Biggest waste of money. Charged us 20.00 per person, after reading the reviews it appears they charge what they feel like the day of as other reviews show different prices of admission. We asked for the scariest level and it was garbage. Donā€™t waste your money!

Paid $15 cash for about 3 minutes of wasted time. We also chose hardcore and it wasn't scary at all. All you had was some guy following behind and occasionally scaring you. You go through a tunnel with wax installations around you kinda like a museum. All the haunted houses at Clifton Hills feels the same. Most of the attractions are rip offs except maybe for golf since it feels longer. Would've rather done an escape room worth $30 for one hour. Everything at Clifton Hills is overpriced. Got charged 10Ā¢ for tap water at Tim Horton's and $1 at Starbucks. I thought tap water was free?!

Itā€™s august 9th & 6:15. My best friend and I were so excited to do the most haunted houseā€¦ they forgot to turn on or yell the screamer people to start till the absolute end. We ended up exiting the wrong door and the 2 girls at the front basically told us even though we didnā€™t get the real experience they cannot do anything about it. Please I advise you donā€™t waste your money here. If they were kind and polite with saying that, no problem they were so rude just left a bad taste in bout our mouths.

This was legitimately scary and I was mostly worried about potential physical contact but it never happened, which I appreciated. The sad part is I never got to actually savour the wax work done inside because I have chosen the 3rd level of Ā«Ā spookinessĀ Ā» and all I wanted was to get the hell out of of that place :) It could be cheaper than 15 dollars but I donā€™t regret it.

My 9 y/o daughter wanted to try this place. They only accept cash. As we opened the door to go inside my daughter had a change of heart. We went back and explained what happened. They refused to refund our money. Very shady much like most places in Niagara Falls.

Just what I was looking for and more. This is not a high budget cookie cutter presentation. This is homegrown good times and good scares. I'm proud to say I visited Dracula's Castle and lived to tell the tale.

DO NOT BUY HORRID, NOT IN THE GOOD WAY, scarers was so unenthusiastic, on their phone and not worth it. Went on extreme and was boring.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I definitely would! AVOID THIS MONEY TRAP AT ALL COSTS!!! the entrance was 22$ per person, which is expensive for an activity of the kind, and we thought that by choosing the hardcore we would get our money worths, but not at all. The whole attraction is a maximum of 5 minutes. And the only thing that they do is scream Ā«Ā Iā€™m going to get youĀ Ā». And remember, we choose the hardcore one. The decorations are not that interesting and the staff looked like they didnā€™t even want to work. Would definitely be scary for a 2 years old but other than that, avoid this place!!!

We were so excited to check this place out, but it's horribly overpriced 113 for 5 of us. They asked us the level and we chose the scariest and all we ever got was someone banging on the walls. Two of us bumped into a wall cause it's so dark and there aren't any glow lights to guide you through. Save your money and spend it somewhere else.

  • 5/5 LordFrederick p. 5 months ago on Google
I did enjoy it with my girlfriend, it was very good. The only suggestion is a few glow sticks for vey dark around for round a corner. Expect for that for two years at huant for Wonderland I felt this one was before. I did enjoy it a lot and plan to send the other there, too. Wait time was by groups that went a head, so we were by are selfs.

Hard-core??? A couple bangs and roars?? What a complete waste of over 60 bucks I didn't jump once it's childsplay!! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY NOT WORTH IT.. Also if you have vision problems have fun seeing where your going we had to use our cell phone light there is a area where the floor sinks in, very poorly maintained and operated! Told the front desk girl it wasn't scary she just rolled her eyes and said yeah thanks for coming pretty much!! Won't ever go back, and neither will any of our friends... Should cost 5 bucks per person at the most

Thought me and my friend would have fun trying another haunted house in Niagara after trying the terrific Nightmares Fear Factory maze. Needless to say, Nightmares is light-years ahead of Dracula's Castle. This has absolutely zero guts -- no fun! 12 minutes of boring scares! Very child friendly.

It doesn't worth the money at all. Just dark room with some scary noise. We have been told that all are human, but actually, it doesn't make any difference between machine and human at all. I expect to see somebody with scary costumes, but didn't see one!

  • 1/5 Michelle K. 9 months ago on Google
Draculaā€™s Haunted Castle is a waste of money. There were a bunch of dimly lit walkways with poorly crafted spooky scenes behind glass. We chose hard core expecting some scares but there was only one actor inside and he never even startled us. Save your money and go to Frankensteinā€™s haunted house a little farther up the street, which is much better.

This place was terrible, we got charged $20 but later realized the sign said $15 so the lady for real scammed us. First thing we hear is some corny illuminati music. My friend got scared mid-way through and we couldnā€™t see anything so we turned on the flashlightā€”IMMEDIATELY exposed this dude who was clearly underpaid, sitting in the middle of the room uninterested and making random groaning noises. Made it a circus more than anything. The scariest thing was lady at the cashierā€¦ Too expensive and not worth it, waste of your money!

By far the worst scary house Iā€™ve been to. Went to every one of the scary houses in Niagara and even the worst one was more scarier than this. These guys are just scammers all you get is someone running after you for a few seconds and thatā€™s all nothing else. Would never recommend paid 110$ to only just see statues.

  • 1/5 David S. 1 year ago on Google
Complete Scam! Wish I would have rather given the $45 cash (no receipt) wasted here to charity instead. It's an embarrassment that Niagara tourism allows this tourist trap to operate.

Scammer!!! I paid $60 in cash for 4 kids and as soon as I stepped inside it was too dark I am claustrophobic so I stepped out again immediately owner did not refund the money and refused that someone else take my turn .. very rude and unflexible

It is basically a museum of "scary" figures behind glass that don't move or scare at all. Theres one man who scares you through out the walk. I think he did a great job but it definitely could have been more then just him. The women at the front clearly hates her job which rubs customers the wrong way. Also we were told there would be no grabbing but I was grabbed on the arm.

If I could give 0 stars I would! This was the worst experience in a haunted house I've ever had! It's advertised that a bunch of people chicken out all the time, leading you to assume that it would be scary. We picked level 3 which was said to be super "hardcore" and for the "insane". I had to pay 60$ for the four of us to walk through pitch-black empty hallways for maybe 10 mins. There were maybe two scare actors in the entire place, which we didn't even see, who at most just growled at us. The scariest part of the whole thing was the floor changing while we were walking. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY! Don't waste your time!

Amazing. I did the medium mode and it was great. The acting was top notch and it was dark and spooky. Great experience and I recommend for all!

  • 4/5 Ricecake 1 year ago on Google
I think it just depends on whos working at the front desk and how busy it is, if its like a long weekend they make you pay like $20 a person which is way too much but we managed to only get charged $15 a person on a really busy friday night and it was worth the $15 a person iā€™d say. Ignoring the pricey admission itā€™s a great haunted house. It used to be meh, but they added a bunch of new props, flash effects, and loud sounds. Its definitely not as insane as nightmares but its actually pretty scary. We did the hardcore level and they got us pretty good. I wouldnt recommend it for younger kids unless theyā€™re brave it just depends on the kid. If youā€™re in niagara id still overall recommend nightmares, but this one is still worth a visit. I dont understand all the negative reviews idk

  • 4/5 Grace J. 1 year ago on Google
This haunted house was fun there was three different levels of scaryness. We chose the middle option and it wasnā€™t super scary but the person working inside the haunted house still made it fun by jumping out a couple times. It was a bit expensive being 20$ a person but it was fun.

  • 3/5 Zach H. 1 year ago on Google
It was ok, but definitely a one and done lol

  • 4/5 Charlie N. 2 years ago on Google
Great haunted house! It appears to be hit or miss as sometimes actors are on break, I got to experience actors on hardcore, very nice actors are friendly and will adjust the intensity by your reaction to the first scream or second. Accepting only cash is questionable but if you go there at 1PM youā€™ll most likely have atleast one actor there, donā€™t feel the need to go back but also enjoyed it.
