Skeptical of the combo of donuts and wonton soup for breakfast but now I can’t stop thinking of it. The owner is so sweet. The donuts are fresh and fluffy, try the walnut crueler, it’s unreal. The wonton soup has the best flavor, and we will be back before we leave the Niagara area.

After told by local about this place, we got a dozen mixed donuts and 2 large wonton soups. Cash only. Amazing soup, lots of meat and very tatey. Fresh and tasty 🍩. 6 or so parking spots behind shop.

Amazing local joint for fresh donuts and wonton soup. After walking by and seeing the sign, we looked at the reviews on Google and to our surprise, people only had good things to say so we knew we had to give it a try! Wonton soup and donuts for breakfast? Why not! The plain donut and the glazed cake donut were light, not wildly sweet and did not leave that weird greasy aftertaste as some cake donuts can. The chocolate chip muffin was freshly baked with a beautiful muffin top and a good quantity of chocolate chips throughout. The wonton soup was very comforting. Being from California, it’s not the best I’ve ever had since this place adds in soy sauce, probably to suit a more Western taste, but it was still tasty and satisfying. The service was super friendly as well. You can tell that this is a well-loved neighborhood shop. Highly recommend!

Been wanting to try this place and so happy I did. It was so retro inside but very clean. The owner was so sweet! Wonton soup was delicious (lot’s of pork and dumplings) and the donuts were fresh. Loved the old fashioned, toasted coconut, and sugar twist. Will visit again for sure! Cash only.

This is THE PLACE for my favourite donuts, sugar twist. There are many other flavorful kinds of donuts to choose from. The best time to go is between 10am-noon since the most of donuts will come out on the shelves for customers. This is a fast pace customer service place since they are always busy, so my suggestion is to know what you want before you walk up to the counter. But of course, if you need to ask questions, they are always there to answer you. 9 parking spots behind their small building, and there is always street parking too. Oh, wonton soup is nice as well.

Been coming here since I was a kid, always a stop after the bars closed for wonton soup. Moved back to Niagara and have been here many times and it’s just as good, the whole family loves it. They also have very good donuts. The neighbourhood is a bit sketchy but don’t let that fool you the food is great!

I have heard great things about country fresh donuts and their soup for a long time now, I finally had to see what the hype was about. Tried the won ton soup and long John donut. Both were great, the soup was very flavourful and full of meat and won tons, the donut was very fresh, chewy and tasted great.

Hidden gem in Niagara. Stumbled upon it on the walk into Niagara Falls from the GO bus terminal. Fresh donuts, amazing wonton soup and is authentic. This is a bustling spot and a favourite among locals by the foot traffic. Lovely and sweet workers. Would definitely be coming back! FYI - the chocolate cruller has nuts & is cash / debit only.

My husband has been hunting for good donuts while in Niagara and found this place. First time and we already love this place! Donuts were very soft and really good. It was one of the best donuts I've had. The butternut nutmeg flavored donut reminds me of Dunkin' Donuts (I love) this one's better. Wonton soup was good too.

Country Fresh donuts has the best homemade Wonton soup in Niagara. The broth is dark and flavourful with light and fluffy dumplings and plenty of pork strips. The atmosphere is old school donut shop because it’s an old school donut shop, and the service is fast and friendly. Make sure you get there early to beat the rush and it’s cash only.

Cute donut shop! Go to donut shop in Niagara Falls! Besides donuts they have different food items as well. Ordered six assorted donuts to go. All delicious and fresh. The coconut, chocolate donut was my favorite. The eats and beverages are reasonably priced too! Accessible parking. The store has cute aesthetics about it. Will definitely be back!

Amazingly fresh donuts. Went around 6:15 am….honey crullers and cake donuts all ready. I got a honey cruller, walnut crunch, cherry cruller, chocolate glazed, and sour cream glazed. It’s how donuts used to be! Owners are super friendly and you can tell they take pride in their products! If you’re looking the full variety, go around 10 am as that’s when the owner said they will have the largest variety ready. He was just making the dipped donuts when I went but they aren’t ready yet. Regardless you won’t be disappointed with any donut here. I’ll be back for sure!

We checked the online ratings and decided to walk from our hotel on a cloudy, drizzly day. We asked a couple of staff at the hotel and they thought we were crazy for walking and for wanting to head here. 😁 We like local, off the beaten path places when we travel though. This place was worth it! The donuts look and taste fantastic! They are apparently known for the wonton soup though. Of course we had to try it too. It was very good! We sat at a table and watched as locals and tourists poured in and out. Definitely a great find.

This place is great. We went for breakfast on our way home. I had an egg sandwich and my husband had a toasted western we should have asked for salt and pepper but it was good. The donuts were absolutely amazing, we bought 6 and snacked the whole 3 hour drive home. I'd suggest trying the sugar twist, it was so so good. But they were all good.

Their wonton soup is legendary. The donuts are really good if you can get them as they sell out often. Take a look at their cream puff. It was so stuffed it blew out on the top. Tim Hortons should be ashamed!

Delicious fluffy donuts and wonton soup. Wonton soup made it feel like I was eating grandma’s/mom’s cooking and it was so comforting. Owners were such friendly people and they seem highly respected in the community.

This place is a gem. I never had fresh donuts before and what a difference.. Country Fresh Donuts is a unique place where they offer fresh daily made donuts. Yes! Made not baked! Not fried, frozen then baked... Country Fresh Donut makes their Donuts and sells it till its gone. I come from Mississauga and sometimes I got there at 11am and most are gone already. The donuts are so soft and not to sweet. Because of this combination it makes you eat more. I would leave the donut in the open for hours and comeback to a very soft donut waiting for a coffee. Don't get me wrong not all favors you will like but for the one the you would it will be heaven. Another wanring. Coffee not the best nor good, you can try it but im picky with my coffee. Now for what makes this place unique? They also sell hot n sour soup , wanton soup and wanton noodle soup. Wierd? Yes! Soup and fresh donut? You'll be surprised... The soup are not the best but not the worth too. Its good, tasty and hot.. But hey I will let you try it and let me know what you think... Hope you enjoy it like I do... Im a fan of Lemon filled and sugar twist.. honey glaced too... coconut... you k ow what try it when you are in Niagara and let me know...

We stopped here on Labour Day for breakfast, the donuts were fresh, light and fluffy. The soup was flavorful and filling. I thought it would be a novelty stop but really it ended up being a very delicious stop.

This is my comfort food place. The wonton soup is amazing, life changing even. The donuts are fresh and soft, a perfect flavor in each one. Each donut is perfect. The soup can be a bit different tasting some times but that's alright, it's still amazing, some times even better, some times mediocre. Amazing people working, hard working people who are kind and always have a smile. Thank you country fresh for providing such great food.

Wonton Soup, cream puffs, donuts and chicken salad sandwich all amazing. Have been here 3 days out of the last 4 days.

2 soups were excellent. Grilled cheese sandwiches were good but not exceptional. Doughnuts were probably made in the morning so lost some of their softness by 2pm when we got there. They were still quite good. Service was friendly and prompt. Prices very fair. Parking on the street during Saturday afternoon was ample.

You'd never guess by this unassuming shop, with Sriracha bottles on every table, serves up the most INCREDIBLE donuts! So fresh, so airy, so delicious!!! It's a MUST anytime we are in Niagara! Recommend: sugar twist, Apple fritter, honey cruller, raised chocolate (chocolate dip), powdered cherry (anything powdered really)!

We stopped here on out way from Toronto to Niagara Falls. Fabulous wonton and hot and sour soups. Then such a great selection of fresh doughnuts. I would definitely recommend this place.

This establishment looks a little run down but it is a hidden gem. This isn't just a donut shop! They have the best wonton soup in the area in my opinion. 2 lg soup and a fresh donut for dessert under $20. The service is great and always smiling. A little hidden gem but you have to get there early or the donuts will be sold out.

😠 The service is going down month over month, and I couldn’t convince myself to rate this place above one star. For the amount you are paying, you expect some basics. We visited on a Saturday night and they did not have half of the items on the menue - no dessert at all. They should inform the custome...
