My son has been bugging us to come here, ever since we randomly walked by in the summer, so we gave it a try today. I thought I'd be bored, but I am happy I was wrong. This place is awesome!! From the model trains that the kids can drive to the slot cars they can race, the attention to detail is amazing. This is a labour of love and it shows. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable, he even let my hubby in the control room and showed him how it all worked. We have been here almost 2 hours and the kids aren't bored yet. Highly recommended for any train lovers!

Truly amazing. The level of detail is impressive, everywhere you look there is something interesting to see, and the longer you look the more there is to see. The owner is a very pleasant gentleman, who is more than happy to talk with you, and you can see how much pride he has in what he has created. He's more than happy to show you things that you may not have found. This is a great place, that is really easy to get to, with lots on parking that is conveniently located nearby. Great for a train enthusiasts or for kids.

It's a great family attraction. We visited on Saturday and it wasn't very crowded. My son liked operating the trains so much πŸ˜„ there are cameras in trains where you can have a first person view and you can control many things. There are hundreds of small details and it must have taken a huge effort to build all those. The price is cheap and the staff are super friendly! A must-visit for people who enjoy models and car racing. Yes, there is a race track for cars too πŸ˜„

Went with my boyfriend today and we had an incredible time! The store is owned by a husband and wife and both of them were very sweet. In addition to the display being extremely impressive what really made our experience was how kind the owner was! He showed us how to use the controls to move the trains and the race cars and even gave us an explanation of how he set everything up. Reading others reviews I saw complaints about the addition of Lego/things other than model trains but I personally thought that really added to the breadth of the experience! The sets were also very intricate ones and impressive in their own right (one of them was 14 thousand pieces!). Personally I think it is a must visit if you’re in Niagara Falls and would encourage everyone to go support this business. It definitely is going to be a core memory for the two of us 😊

A very fun and cool spot to play with mini trains, cars and see a lot of really interesting dioramas. We happened across it on Saturday (August 19 2023) and decided to go in. The owner was super friendly and was helpful in playing with the many buttons to press. The remote cars on the static track thing was great fun. Stop by entry is only 12$ and he gives you as many tokens as you want to play.

I have nothing but respect for the owner. He was passionate of his craft, he constantly made sure my 3 year old was having fun. What he created is magnificent, it all started in his basement and expanded. Thank you very much! Will definitely come back!

Best place for kids. You can skip ripoff Clifton hill and take kids here. They enjoy controlling model trains in a very big city layout. There are lot of other cute things to enjoy and a race track. All for 12cad and unlimited hours. Under 5 free

Locomoland was EXCELLENT! Amazing miniatures! Sooo many things to look at, we had to slow ourselves down to see it all. Our 11 year old grandson LOVED driving the trains as well as the slot cars!! It's Niagara Falls best kept secret and I highly recommend that every visitor and resident visit! VERY reasonably priced too!

Well worth a visit! The owner is so enthusiastic about what he's set up and will gladly show you the systems and automation he's programmed behind the scenes of this fascinating exhibit. In addition to how cool the models themselves are its also highly interactive - you can drive trains and race cars; also look for the buttons on the side of the exhibit which make lights and other displays come to life!

I visited locomoland today and I have nothing but great things to say, even my wife was amazed. Walt the owner is so passionate about the layout. He took the time to show me behind the scenes and how it all worked. The amount of time, effort and love for the hobby is shown in the detail and presentation of his layout. Definately a must see. Thanks again to Walt for an absolutely amazing experience.

Need to take time to look at the details and understand how things work here. We went at a time when it was not busy and owner showed and explained. My son enjoyed very much. Tokens are free. Just go ask for them. So kids could stay and have fun as long as they like.

In the complete sensory overload of an area this is nestled away on a side street unassuming. One of the coolest places I've been too in a while at $12 cad a person a steal. You get to see this massive crazy HO layout and actually drive the trains from any dozen POV controllers with cameras. Along with a slot car track. This is one of the best places I've been they also sell trains for decent prices as well! Hope to be back soon!

Really fun for anyone that enjoys model trains! We came in at 4 on a Friday, and had the whole place to ourselves. There is a flight of stairs up to the tracks from the register, where you can buy trains to take home.

Had an amazing time! Son is obsessed with trains and the gentleman that worked on the trains upstairs was very patient and kind. Both my son and the gentlemen were excited about meeting someone else that loves trains just as much.

I was sooo happy to see a train related experience we could go to in our hometown. I can't recommend this place enough. The owners, a sweet couple, work so hard to maintain a stunning collection of trains, models, tracks, and a clear passion for locomotives. My 2 year old son was in heaven. Book your school/class trips, walk in, pre book tickets, or bring a birthday party there. They deserve all of the attention and advertising. Thank you Locomoland! We will be back very soon!

Kids enjoyed about an hour there. Their favorite part: discovering the mini Niagara falls button. Owners were very welcoming.

We had a fanatic time here. It was amazing to see such a large collection of automotive trains, single handed built by the owner, Walter. He is a very nice guy, taught our kids how to play the trains and racing cars. Definitely will come back again.

Great place to spend an hour or two. Very friendly people working. It was fun pushing the buttons and finding what it did. Finding the train your control was a blast!!!! Multiple trains and a massive railway world. Rc cars were a great feature! Fun racing against each out!

Interesting setup with lots to see for kids and parents. Can run a variety of trains with on-board cameras. Lots of push buttons for actions. Very eclectic mix of HO scale trains all in Marklin and Roco brands. Big mix of themes - Star Wars Lego, space, military, medieval, etc. Take your time and really walk around it all. Small electric car race track for kids, found it hard to follow your own car.

Our family loved it, and my kids (10 & 6) have been asking to go back. Even better than expected. The staff (owners, I think) were so welcoming and friendly. So much to see. The kids loved "driving" their own trains. Hard to get them to leave after 2.5 hours. Very reasonable price, too! We got a good laugh out of a few of the buttons, which triggered things in the scenes. My son loved the "mini Niagara Falls" button best. πŸ˜‰

What a great destination to add to your Niagara Falls / Clifton Hill visit! When you think you've seen it all, look closer! There is humour to be found in the tiny details that only reveal themselves at the push of a button! It's eye candy for every age and the best 12 bucks you'll spend in Niagara. The owner is infectiously smiling all of the time and clearly loves his hobby. He'll quickly attend to any questions no matter how detailed, and even take you into his shop to proudly show off his latest micro-technology.

After a long day of walking around we stopped here an hour before close. My son and daughter aged 5 and 4 had a blast this was the most fun they had the whole day being able to drive the trains and look at the whole amazing setup. This place it's a little gem that I will definitely be bringing the kids back to?

Can’t say enough good things about this local business near Clifton Hill. If you’re reading this, trying to decide whether you should go, do it! Take your time to enjoy the details, and appreciate all the hard work this must have taken to setup. Very cool place to visit, and highly interactive.

Cool to see if you appreciate trains and the artistic value of it all. Someone is very dedicated to building this and the attention to detail is awesome. You can control some of the trains and there was also a large Carrera slot car set up that you can play with. Hopefully the owner will keep building on to this and we can go back again to see the latest additions.
