Great spot for authentic Serbian food. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. Reasonably priced. Great service and location, just outside the Clifton Hill area.

A fantastic meat platter. I only had one other in my life that was comparable to this one. The appetizers were incredibly well done too. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a hearty meal in the area. A bit of heads up though, they only take cash!

When i entered, I was totally ignored for 3 or 4 minutes, standing there like piffy on a rock cake! I ordered Schnitzel but was offered this (Attached picture). When I offered my card for payment, I was told, "Cash only." When I said what if I didn't have cash? The chef's response was that the shop over the road would exchange cards for cash (The mind boggles)!!!!! In my experience, it is not recommended.

I visited Niagara and had dinner at Cafe Nautica. It was my first time as I am visiting from Croatia and I was beyond impressed. The food was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We ended up at Nautica by accident - we were on Queen St intending to go another place that turned out to be closed. As we were already hungry, we decided to see if Nautica was serving. And we're so glad they were! We didn't know quite what to expect; the prices weren't that high. But the food tasted like that from one of the fanciest restaurants I've been to. It was so amazing. We had the mixed grill: a delicious selection of pork kebabs, grilled chicken, sausages, cevapi, and pljeskavica(! beef patties with I don't know what kind of spices but the perfect ones), topped with salty-rich Balkan-style cream cheese. We had salad of ripe tomatoes, sweet peppers, cucumber, onion and feta. And we also had fresh bread, light and yeasty and just a bit crispy like it had been oiled before baking. I joked that I wanted to divorce my husband and marry the bread. It was very good bread. And through all this, the chef served us himself, and was wonderful - and very sweet while we raved about his food. Also: southern Ontario and Toronto need more Balkan food. Especially pljeskavica and that delicious, delicious bread. Edited to add: We also had some baklava from here the next day. It was the best baklava I've ever had.

Unbelievably delicious meal and the service was outstanding! We were a party of 6 and Zoran the chef welcomed us and treated us like royalty. Instead of ordering off the menu he said he would create a meal for us. He brought out a lovely salad, the most amazing homemade bread with the best cream cheese and red pepper spread.to follow he made a platter of several meats all cooked to perfection. Will definitely come again!!!!

Amazing food. Excellent hospitality. Wonderful experience. We stopped by 10 months ago while on vacation. We arrived within 30 minutes of closing and the kitchen was already closed, but we were still presented with the most amazing meal, that included the shopska salad, fresh pita bread, and a massive meat platter on a gigantic bed of quite possibly the best fries we have ever eaten. Needless to say the whole experience was great. We enjoyed the food and hospitality so much, we made it a priority to come back. Again, we were not disapointed. Still got the bread and the shopska salad, but this time we got the chicken. Just like last time, the food and hospitality were perfect. If you are in the area, this little place on Queen St. should be a priority.

I come to this spot every free day I have. Not only is the food phenomenal, but the atmosphere makes sticking around worth the money. The servers are all well known by the Niagara community and very well liked. They are very creative and add their personal touch to make each visit to the cafe unique. The chef is deeply passionate about cooking and it reflects in the food. You really never know what to expect each time you come to the cafe, but I promise you will never be disappointed. This is hands down the best spot in the Niagara region and is a must try for anyone passing by or local.

Stopped by after reading the reviews. We ordered mixed meat for four people. Wow what a treat! We found the owner (Zoran & Taylor the server) very hospitable. Top notch service matched with Serbian cuisine and ambience. Can not wait to return back!

Ouch, boy, do I sense some racism at this place? I am a brown guy who visited this place with my girlfriend on Saturday at 8 PM. We were very politely shown the door mentioning that the 30% filled restaurant is fully booked for the night, and that it was a special night. He told us some band was playing (by showing us an unplugged guitar kept in the corner). Before this excuse, the chef told us that the restaurant is booked for next two weeks in advance. Finally, to top it off, before we left the chef asked us “you guys want to eat food? then come in the morning….” Haha, it’s funny he needed so many excuses, when just saying “we only serve white people” would have saved time for both of us. Hope you improve brother. :)

Food was amazing, all crafted here by the owner and chef Zoran. Service was genuine and personable. Wish we lived closer, I would be back every week. A hidden gem on Queen st.

Never knew this fine restaurant ever existed until recently I went to Great Wolf Lodge which was close to this place. I went without much anticipation but returned but great dining experience I've never had in the Falls area. The chef/owner was very nice to assure me there was no need to worry about closing time despite we arrived late at 9:30pm. I ordered Pita Bread which was soft and crunchy along with Serbian style cream cheese made in-house and eggplant mixed with red pepper. It was so good that I ordered 4 for my family. Chevaps tasted so good that it's so tender and not too dry. The setting of the restaurant is so relaxing especially when cool breeze flow throw from outside of the open window. I visited The Falls for so many times but I never visited a restaurant this good.

Beautiful atmosphere, calming music, great service, and out of this world food. Came across from Niagara Falls NY and this place is going to be a regular spot for us now. Staff was so kind and welcoming and I cannot say enough good things about the food.

My family and I visited Niagara and had dinner at Cafe Nautica. It was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. If you want authentic and great quality food, it’s a must-try! We were served immediately and the staff is extremely hospitable! We will be coming back and I highly recommend it!

Walked in for a double shot of espresso, as apparently you are advertised as a cafe. Waited at door awkwardly for 2 or 3 minutes. No body to take order or serve. Walked out. I’ve been on the journey to find the best espresso in the Niagara region. I have to be able to try it to give you that honour. But the service was non existent and I don’t give second chances. Service abysmal. Not a cafe. A restaurant with a personality disorder.

We found Cafe Nautica when looking for cevapi on a trip from Windsor to Niagara Falls. We were so pleased with the service and the food was incredible. We have recommended Cafe Nautica to so many friends and family visiting. Will definitely be back!

The best kebab In Niagara! With just the right amount of spices and grilled to perfection! Served with delicious rice and grilled veggies. Without hesitation, the best kebab I had ever tasted! Amazing service and pleasant atmosphere. 10/10! I look forward to coming back very soon!

It was great food and surprisingly mojito was amazing! The day, I felt a bit sick. But I still wanted to drink something :D and I decided to order mojito which I dont even like mint! OOMG! I could tell the mojito was great with less experiences. I let my partner to drink it. He was amazed too and we ended up recommending to other customer and they loved it as well! I think because of the bartender who is Cuban! She knows what to do :) My feeling was much better after drinking and start eating dinner which i stole from him. LOL! It was great too! the meat was so tender and tasty! I highly recommend the bar!!

WOW, great food like you would encounter in Europe. Super tasty, nicely prepared, excellent value with ample leftovers. Zoran is a maestro. We will return again soon. Come hungry, leave comfortably full. 5stars all the way.

The best food we had this week to celebrate my husband's bday!!! A cozy Serbian restaurant in downtown Niagara that serves THE best grilled meat platter and freshly made pita bread with kajmak and Ajvar! Mamma mia!!! Slurrpppp!! Mind blown!! The ambience is so laid back you feel like you are in your friend's place/backyard. We were made to feel special. Will definitely frequent!!
