You can choose 4 sides for the buffet at a price of 100 cordobas. There were about 8 options to choose from - rice, beef, chicken, skewers, beans, plantain, vegetables etc. The dishes vary slightly everyday. You also get complimentary nacho chips and salsa. For seating, there were 2 tables inside and 2 outside. Overall, everything was pretty delicious. Not too salty and not too bland. We came here almost everyday!

This is one of the most affordable restaurants in SJDS. The location is convenient as it is right around the corner of one of the major intersections near the beach. The price for one dish was 100 cordobas and you can choose three to four items from their buffet menu that is freshly cooked every day. During my stay, I dined here a handful of times and the meat menu changed every time. The food itself is also great and everything I had here was above average for my standard. You also get free chips and salsa picante on the side. I personally recommend gallopinto from here. It is always freshly cooked and they fill you up well. I would definitely recommend this place if you intend to stay in SJDS for a while and you are on a budget.

Great restaurant! This exactly as vegetarian backpackers the one we always try to find. You can chose what you want and if vegetarian you can replace the meat for an additional choice!

Good homemade food, good price, open late.

Dollar for dollar, this is the best spot in town! Food was solid and service was great. Wish I would have gone here sooner. Atmosphere is very unique and very chill. Felt like home cooked. Go here first if you’re trying to eat well and not pay “tourist rates” for food.

Hands down everyone's favourite spot in San Juan del Sur. Delicious, affordable, local food. It's kind of buffet style - you get to choose between meats, salads, sides and so on. Great, just great!

That’s the place where to eat in San Juan. 100c$ for an entire meal and 130c$ with beverage. They have lot of choices, fast and very good quality. Of course is a local place, nothing fancy, but if you like the local cuisine the place is for you!

Great for the price and good portions! Cheapest food around. Buffet style. Lots of different types of meat options and fish then they have rice, beans, pasta, avocado, potato salad as sides. Have eaten there several times. Fish is good! Extra 10 cordobas to takeaway.

The food is great, it's the best value I've come across in town, a glass of water is included if you want, and it's buffet style no waiting to eat.

During my stay in San Juan I went there everyday! The food is delicious, fresh and the prices are unbeatable. As a vegan I didn’t have a lot of variety but they still got some veggie options. Would definitely recommend to go there
