This is great little place slightly off the beaten path, only three blocks from the beach but you can relax and enjoy your meal and avoid some of the hassles of eating closer to “the action”. The food is excellent and the owners, Adam, Tina and Mauro are the most down to earth people you could have the pleasure to meet and their staff are amazing and extremely friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure to rent/stay in the apartment above the restaurant which is owned by Pane Nostro. It is a very large, fully equipped and super comfortable apartment with all of the fixings including two fully recliner theatre chairs with cup holders to relax and watch your favourite Netflix or whatever shows on the big screen TV. Add this to the great food downstairs and you really have it all. We wish you great success in your business.

Mauro was a very welcoming and informative co-owner/chef. We actually met Mauro prior to his opening hours one day and he explained his homemade authentic Italian menu. We were hungry for a visit asap!! Our opportunity came and did not disappoint - loved the food, atmosphere and establishing the connection. We will be back and with friends as well. Excellent choice 👍👍 Just met Adam and Tina- the rest of the ownership team. Great evening experience!

What a great dining experience. I have eaten their pizza and last night I had the lasagna. The food was the best in town. I will be eating there often. The owner came to the table to make sure we were happy with our meals and service. They now serve beer and wine.

The street allows large groups to enjoy in the best manner possible. Mauro Caminiti is a friend of mine, he is il Capitano Chef and owner. Easy: from the park half block due the beach. We have ate here twice this week and both were excellent. Had lasagna the first night and it was good as my mom's. Had pizza delivery the second night and it was just as good. Delivery was also super fast. I would definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I went to Pane Nostro for dinner last night. We were greeted by the owner, and didn't realize we were a tad early for opening. He accomodated us and brought us cold beers right away. We ordered the Caprese salad and two pasta dishes which were fresh, and delicious. We had a wonderful experience, a wonderful dinner, and we will definitely return again. Great service great food, clean restaurant....Good job Pane Nostro!!!!

PANE NOSTRO IS THE BEST! I’m so glad we stopped in for dinner while we were in SJDS. Highly recommend the pepperoni pizza and the chicken alfredo pizza! Had a great house salad as well. The staff and owners are all super friendly too.

Best Pizza in town and probably Central America! Italian chef Mauro took our order and shared a few tales as we drank our aperitif and waited for our taste of Rome to cook. (chilli flakes and oregano provided to add as you choose on take outs -class!) Highly recommend you give this place a try.

This place is fantastic, as are the owners and staff. We went a couple of times during our last visit and couldn't believe how tasty the food was and very reasonably priced (we had lasagna and garlic bread one night then my nephew and I had pizza one afternoon). The atmosphere was so comfortable and welcoming. I also love that they leave water and real dog food outside so the pups wandering the streets have something to eat and drink. True humanitarians and all around good humans :)

This is hands down the best pizza in San Juan del Sur. I've lived here for several years and have tried most of the pizza places in town. The pasta is also incredibly delicious and you can tell both are made with so much love and care. Mauro was a phenomenal host and him and his team were very quick to get our big tables' order made and out for us. Don't miss out on trying their house wine as well. Will definitely be a new favourite spot. Thanks Mauro!

I was honored to attend the opening of Pane Nostro, SJDS's newest and best Italian restaurant. The food is exquisitely prepared from the tasty pizzas to the delicious pasta dishes. The service is attentive and the staff is very friendly. It's a great place for a full meal, snack, or drink. They also offer take-away and delivery. Definitely recommended!

I had a delicious traditional Italian meal at Pane Nostro. I had the spaghetti with sautéed sausage and mushrooms in olive oil with the perfect amount of garlic and herbs. It just a hint of wine and maybe lemon. It was absolutely perfect. I also had to try a slice of the pizza and that didn’t disappoint is was also amazing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you eat here, you will be glad you did!!!

We ate here twice on our visit to SJDS. For our first visit, we just tried the pizza. It was delicious. Crisp crust and fabulous toppings (pepperoni/sausage on one and fettuccine Alfredo on the second). On our next visit, I had the lasagna and salad, both very tasty. Would highly recommend Pane Nostro if you visit San Juan del Sur!!!

Without a doubt the best pizza I have tasted since coming to Nicaragua in 2004. The crust was spot on for both texture and taste. You could taste all of the toppings. And it was filling. Staff fantastic in a cozy yet open atmosphere. Thanks so much
