It
appears
that
this
is
a
geographically
very
well
placed
restaurant
that
is
primed
to
attract
naive
tourists
from
hostel
Papasito
who
are
too
lazy
to
walk
into
town
or
who,
like
me,
needed
to
get
up
earlier
than
when
other
things
were
open.
It
certainly
would
explain
the
overwhelmingly
positive
reviews.
The
prices
here
are
certainly
among
the
best
in
Ometepe,
there
is
no
denying
that.
If
you
want
a
cheap
breakfast,
look
no
further.
But
if
you
want
a
good
breakfast...
go
somewhere
else.
I
liked
the
dinner
I
ate
here,
the
chicken
was
quite
good,
but
it
was
no
better
than
something
you
could
have
for
cheaper
at
any
place
in
Nicaragua
starting
with
"Comedor
...
"
(or
the
excellent
Cocina
de
Mami).
The
breakfast
on
the
other
hand
was
really
quite
disappointing
-
cooked
poorly,
seasoned
poorly,
unimpressive
portion
sizes,
you
name
it.
And
yes,
the
coffee
is
cheap
(provided
you
pretend
its
not
instant
coffee
you
are
choosing
to
pay
for),
but
its
not
refillable,
which
is
something
that
I
was
initially
told
was
fine.
I
was
informed
otherwise
the
following
morning
-
after
I
had
already
had
a
refill,
of
course.
They
said
that
it
must
have
just
been
a
miscommunication,
which
is
possible,
but
I
know
that
they
knew
what
I
meant
by
"refill"
and
I'm
really
not
quite
sure
what
else
I
would
have
been
referring
to
if
I
was
not
asking
whether
refills
were
free.
I
don't
think
customers
generally
ask
if
they
are
allowed
to
purchase
more
than
one
coffee...
Anyway.
It
really
is
a
cheap
place,
and
if
you're
there
for
dinner,
or
its
before
7am
and
nowhere
else
is
open,
then
I'd
recommend
it.
But
if
its
none
of
those
things,
then
go
to
Cocina
de
Mami,
or
honestly
cook
for
yourself.
It'll
be
cheaper
and
potentially
a
more
enjoyable
meal.
