Nekupe Do you know what Nekupe means? Heaven, and this resort lives up to its name. My husband and I have traveled around the world a few times, and we’ve been lucky to experience some award winning properties. I can firmly say Nekupe is one of the best. Combine luxury, nature, sports, and a top-notch gastronómic experience, and you have a bucket list worthy experience at Nekupe. What we did on this trip: We ripped around over 2,400 acres in an all-terrain ATV with our guide and ranger, Gaspar. We toured and enjoyed beautiful sites like their Chapel, Club House , Gym, Shooting Range, animal farms, a gorgeous aviary, and diverse agricultural sites. We rode horses, fed animals at their various farms, collected eggs for our breakfast, planted trees, played at a rope course, had wonderful massages (at one of the most beautiful spas tastefully designed by Mrs. Pellas), enjoyed many nature walks, learned to shoot a rifle and handgun, got a lot of pool time, and more. We had a wonderful gastronomic experience with 4-course meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meticulously planned by Joel, their resident chef, using fresh ingredients grown on-site. The meals were impeccably served by Gerald, our wonderful butler/bartender, who also made sure nothing was in shortage on the table. Especially, my favorite fruit cocktails with Cana de Flor rum! Nekupe is a must visit resort and experience for the whole family, and we highly recommend it.

One of the nicest resorts we have ever stayed at. Such beautiful views, incredible food, and great service from Gaspar and the rest of the team. We felt very safe and comfortable the entire time.

NEKUPE isn’t so much a hotel as a chance to stay in a beautiful and inspiring nature reserve with the attention of supremely professional and delightful guides, cooks, drivers, masseurs, horsemen, naturalists…the list is endless. All of them achieve the magic combination of professionalism and friendliness to perfection, so it seems unfair to pick out any, but for a birdwatcher, Alex was the perfect guide; and for her extraordinary hard work in arranging the recovery of our customs-confiscated binoculars, as well as her amazing attentiveness throughout our stay, Josseling deserves special praise. A family ranging in age from 5 to 68, none of us has never been better looked after anywhere on earth. NEKUPE really is a paradise.

Nekupe is heaven on Earth. I've been there a few times now and I absolutely love it. The property itself is beautiful and something completely different. Most people come to Central America looking for the beaches, which Nekupe admittedly doesn't have on the property. Instead, Nekupe gives you a unique experience in a more mountain and farm based experience. You can hike, horse ride, or target shoot. You can spend the day at the spa or in the pool. You can get cigar rolling or pottery making classes. If all of those aren't enough, you can take an excursion off the property and see so many of the beautiful things around Nicaragua (including the beaches!) All while accompanied and guided by Nekupe's personal "rangers" that are assigned to each guest upon arrival. Speaking of rangers, the absolute best part of Nekupe is the people. Anyone can buy great beds and sheets, but the quality of service and attention that the staff at Nekupe provides is second to none. Personally, I worked at the Ritz-Carlton (both Miami and Orlando properties), and I have to say that they blow the Ritz out of the water. If you are truly looking for an out of this world experience, at an out of this world place surrounded by out of this world people, Nekupe is it. Special thanks to all the people at Nekupe that took care of us while we were there: Lewis, Gaspar, Alex - Rangers Danny, Joel - Chefs Gerard, Osman - Waiters/Bartenders Josseling, Sujey - Reservations/Operations You all are what make Nekupe outstanding, keep up the great work!

Across the board an incredible place and experience. Highly recommend to a wide range of groups (I went on a brothers trip with my two brothers but this would be amazing for a family with kids of any age, romantic couples trip, guys trip, etc.). Above and beyond service, excellent food and drinks, incredible scenery and as much or as few activities as you want including horseback riding, ATVs, shooting, day trips to volcanoes, boating, etc. All around one of the best, if not the best, places I’ve ever stayed.

Nekupe is a unique paradise which we were lucky to call home for a few days. Everything about our stay was first class with the understated service right at the top. The estate was incredible with our ranger, Gaspar, doing an excellent job of guiding us through the blissful landscape with amazing knowledge and passion. Keeping two young boys interested was no easy task but the variety of flora and fauna and delicious food kept them entertained and excited throughout our stay. We would love to come back to see the Pitaya (Dragonfruit) and Coyolito when they are ripe to pick. We could not recommend more.

Nekupe is an amazing resort that offers a truly unforgettable experience. My family and I, including our 2-year-old and 4-month-old, had an incredible time there. The level of customization and attention to detail was top-notch, as they even provided car seats and cribs for our babies upon arrival. The food was delicious, the room was beautiful, and the view was heavenly. The climate was also perfect during our stay. There were so many activities to do that it was fun for both my kids and my wife and I, including horseback riding, shooting, and even seeing various wildlife like monkeys and owls. The staff were also amazing, always helpful and willing to cater to all of our needs. I highly recommend Nekupe for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable vacation.

Nekupe is truly HEAVEN on earth! breathtaking views, never ending activities for the whole family, including toddlers and absolutely amazing farm to table cuisine. Staying in Nekupe is an experience we will never forget. The staff is incredible, so well prepared and take care of every last detail, the rangers and chefs are one of the best parts of our stay. Our rooms were spacious, had amazing vies and all around so comfortable, and the spa was definitely my personal favorite. Do yourself a favor and book now! We cant wait to come back!
