We've done several free walking tours around the world and this is one of the best! Antonio is a superb and knowledgeable guide. Half the tour was a market tour where we got to try local food, it was also a good way for tourists to know how much the cost of some food are. We contributed about 50 cordobas ($1.37) and we were able to try a lot of food, fruits and even drinks! So bring some smaller bills. Our tour took around 3 hours, it was a combination of history and food tour. Never a dull moment.

Excelente service, You can show up at 8:50 am the tour starts at 9am. The guy took us to different places, even to the central market where he gave us local sweets and fruit. Magnificent speech and a really nice guide.

We did the morning English tour with Antonio. Great way to spend our first morning in Leon! Not only did we learn more about Nicaragua and Leon, we also had a full tummy after. Part of tour was spent exploring and trying local snacks/fruits at the mercado. We all contributed C50 each for the kitty. Highly recommended doing this walking tour!

We took the tour with Leo. The 2 hour had everything that a perfect tours needs. We stopped at a local market, tasted some food and drinks but also learned a lot about the Nicaraguan history - coming straight from a Local. It wasn’t an overload of information, it was very interesting facts. I definitely recommend going with them, support the locals and learn about this beautiful country.

This walk is a must in Léon. You visit the town and get informed about the history of Nicaragua. Leo is very interesting and insightful. We did the 9:00 am tour in English. It lasted 3 hours but did not feel like it. We even tasted Nica food. You have to meet in the street in front of the information center. A MUST!

I did a lot of free walking Tours but this was one the best. Leo is a great guide, he explains everything perfectly and there is a lot of variety. The two hours went by so fast because it was so interesting.

The First Thing that you have to do when you arrive at León! Tours start twice a day (9am + 4pm) and you learn a lot about the city and the history of Nicaragua! Noel has been such a friendly guide and don’t miss the sunset from the roof of the cathedral! 100% recommend. Just read all the 5* star reviews. There are there for a reason!!

Awesome tour with Noel Antonio!! He was so knowledgeable and passionate about Leon, where he is from. We walked around the historic center as well as the central market, where we sampled some local cuisine. I appreciated his detailed stories and candid responses to my many questions. He even arranged a special boat tour of the mangrove forests and turtle hatching beach the next day, which was equally stunning

10/10 would recommend. Had a very good time during the waking tour with Leo. We especially liked the market, where everyone chips in a bit (30 Córdoba) and you get to taste amazing food. Leo is a very good en enthusiastic guide who clearly knows what he is talking about.

It was such a good way to have an insight about the city of Leon and the lifestyle. Anthony is such a knowledgeable and fun person. We felt like we have many things common. I just did the free walking tour today with the guide Alejandro. It was so good. We both got some local tips for restaurants, bars and some history about Leon but also Nicaragua in general. You could ask about anything and he really had a cool vibe. It has been the best 2,5 hour i have spent in León. You should really do it

I loved this tour!! Leo was amazing. Not only did I learn so much about Leon and Nicaragua, but Leo also arranged for a private small group tour for my friends to do volcano boarding. AND he put me in touch with a guide for a mangrove/baby turtle release tour. Definitely do this free walking tour.

Leo was such an amazing tour guide. We learnt so much about the history, culture and present day situation in Nicaragua.
