The place inside looked amazing with a great old school ambience, so we decided to try it out. We were amazingly surprised at how good the food was and how great the service of the people were. The prices were reasonable, around €20 for two people, and we were completely stuffed once we were finished. The lady that waited on us was just as nice as the gentleman; she couldn't speak English but I could tell that she really cared and made sure that our order was perfect. Even the customers around us smiled and conversed with us! If we get the opportunity we will definitely be back!

Even rarer that the family work so well together. I read previous reviews about half a table not ordering and being asked to leave. I can assure you I’ve seen them freely serve water and a table to those in need. The only reason anyone would be asked to move is if they are sitting in the dining area during lunch time and should be seated in the bar for drinks, even if one person is eating and the others not. They typically have a very busy lunch and manage their tables well. Those comments stating otherwise more than likely misunderstood.

We only really stopped by for coffee, but it became our daily coffee place while we were visiting Nice. The service at the bar was very friendly, and the coffees were good!

Nevertheless I was really disappointed about that and I don't think that i'll come back here also I would recommend tourists to rather go to a bar at the sea or in the center, the hospitality seems way better there.

Funny thing @Elena Potters, the same happened to me just some days ago. My friends and me stepping into that bar, two of us ordered drinks and the others were rudely kicked out by an old waitress. She shouted at us, it should be "a question of good education" that everyone has to order something even though the pub is empty and some of us already got some drinks. I went there with my friends and we had a drink, but because one friend didnt want anything the woman that works there was extremely rude and kicked them out with plenty of space and seats that werent occupied. I have to say that the man that works there is friendly and stayed calm while she was getting really mad. We will not return after this terrible experience!!
