We seen this place on Google and decided we must give it a try. I'm so glad we did I feel like we hit the food jackpot. The gentleman who owns the small unique food establishment gets his ingredients locally and makes his own olive oils. He welcomed us in with open arms, explained the menu to a T and how things are prepared. The bread and olive oil is amazing I think I could have ate a whole piece of bread with the olive oil. I got the lasagna and my boyfriend got the ravioli. The best food I've had so far, for dessert we both got the tiramisu. Absolutely amazing. Everyone needs to eat here when they are visiting Nice. You will not be disappointed. And yes it does take a while to get your food but it's all prepared as ordered. Nothing is precooked. So therefore enjoy your time in Nice, learn about the history because he will tell you and just enjoy the moment. I'll be back here for sure. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

(Translated by Google) A short but quality menu whose boss will praise you (rightly) with passion. Plates rich in flavor sublimated to perfection with a different olive oil depending on the dish (Vallée des Baux, Fruité Noire, ... etc) You can buy the oils on the spot in several formats or on the website. It is a discovery for us but we will definitely come back for the taste and the human warmth Good to know : - 1 lunch service only, 1 dinner service only. The food was AMAZING but the olive oil was even more amazing than the food. I can’t recommend this place enough. Owners of the place treat customers as if they are guests at their house, very warm and sincere but humble at the same time. The ingredients were also unbelievably fresh. I wish they were open for the dinner time as well. What a pitty my vacation is a bit short but I’d definitely come to Nice again just for this place.

Absolutely magical, unique place - excellent food, very welcoming family atmosphere, and a great knowledgeable host to guide you through the meals. A true gem to be protected at all cost. And by the way, you absolutely must try their fresh olive oil, it's out of this world!

Lovely little restaurant. I liked the location as you get to people watch, the staff were very kind and chatty, the olive oils were delish and the meals were very lovely and hearty meals. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Niçois perfection. It’s both a shop specializing in French artisanal olive oil (sold here and online) and a restaurant pairing them with a small number of fresh, local, and delicious dishes. The couple that runs it are kind and friendly. The restaurant is charmingly attractive. And it helps that it is completely in the shade and has a slight breeze during lunchtime. This was my favorite meal in Nice and I’ve been here for a month trying all sorts of restaurants.

The food was absolutely fantastic, I definitely want to come back to taste the rest of the menu, which always includes the olive oil varieties that the restaurant also sells (and that we liked enough to buy). I tried the Ablama and refused to believe my taste buds! The ravioli were also really really good! The owner was extremely friendly and seemed very passionate about his business. Make sure to reserve a table if you plan to eat here, as the number of tables is quite limited.

Absolutely fantastic ! Just couple weeks ago ordered olive oil. Arrived in just few days to Finland. Quality and taste of oil is perfect ! Also visited their restaurant in Nice couple times and felt ourselves warmly welcomed. Delicious food and warm service with so much knowledge about olive oil.

A very special place! This is by far my favorite restaurant in Nice. Authentic, honest food, a calm, cozy atmosphere with great staff. They are not really staff but rather the heart and soul of this place. The owner shares his pleasure for quality food and good recipes with the guests without being obnoxious or overbearing. He does only one seating per night to keep that calmness and beautiful atmosphere alive and to focus on the dishes and guest instead of the turnover. The queens in the kitchen handpick every leave that goes into a salad and arrange beautiful plates. You have to try the avocado salad! It is an oasis of authenticity that makes you feel being at someone’s home rather than this busy tourist city. Recommend it to anybody who can appreciate the simplicity of good ingredients as a quality seal for good food. Love love love this place!

The best restaurant owner in France! He was so friendly and spent time explaining all the dishes one by one. The menu is very small meaning it is high quality. His main business is Olive oil which you will try during dinning here. Only a few tables with one sitting and it's obvious he doesn't do it for money just for the love of olive oil, which shows in the service and the food quality. 😀 Thank you to the chef she was also very lovely. Really disappointed that we only found this gem on our last day in Nice 🤨

So glad we popped over here. We were walking by and saw this little restaurant, the food seemed good and we asked for a table. The owner is a lovely guy and also the lady that works in the kitchen was extremely friendly and of course the food is out of this world. Delicious and not expensive at all which surprised us. They sell olive oils that was incredible. Really recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

The owner is very kind and has a great passion for olive oil. I ordered lasagna and tiramisu, and the lasagna was really good. The lasagna was very warm and full because it was just out, and I ate it with the olive oil recommended by the owner, so it was different and really delicious. I also ate tiramisu with olive oil, so it tasted different from usual, so it was newer. I didn't know much about olive oil, but it was nice to know the taste of various olive oils while eating here.

Believe everything you’re reading here about the owners passion, the quality of the food, the olive oil and the hospitality. I’m so glad we managed to get a table here today for lunch given we didn’t have a reservation and we saw countless other potential diners turned away. It you have your heart set on eating here do yourself a favour and book or come early for lunch. If you come too late you will miss out and trust me you don’t want that. This was the perfect place to finish off our short visit in France and our last day in Nice. To the owner - thank you for an incredibly memorable lunch. I hope we cross paths again!

We LOVE Oliviera: the olive oils especially but also the delicious and healthy food and of course Nadim and Regine who do such an incredible job. On this visit, just after strict confinement, we ordered take out dinners and 4 liters of olive oil. What a treat! Thank you Nadim and Regine. Can't wait to eat at the restaurant when you are open again and have an olive oil tasting sur place. Merci beaucoup!

There are not enough positive and loving words to describe Oliviera and Nadim/his lovely wife. The food is amazing, and I've tried almost everything on his menu, and go back over and over and over... I love the Olive Oil pairings with the food, as it is truly like pairing a fine wine with fine food (and yes, the rosé paired with all is amazing too!). I keep a supply of his olive oil on hand in my pantry, and when Nice, Fr went into covid-19 confinement, i sooooo missed his food, but was thankful i could replenish my olive oil via on-line order. Now that Nice is slowly re-opening, the first place i headed for 'takeaway' was to Oliviera for my Aubergine Oliviera, one of their classic dishes. When friends come to visit from the USA, i take them there for lunch, always...and it is such a delightful experience. I could keep going on and on about Nadim, his family, his food, his EVOO, but I figure Google has a limit to how long one can explain one of the best foodie adventures ever! Thank you Nadim and Mrs. Nadim, your restaurant is like home to me because your kindness and love show throughout all that you do!

Couldn't recommend Oliveira more highly, both for the food and the olive oil. It's been one of our favourites since before we even moved to Nice five years ago. Nadim is passionate about the food, which is all market-fresh, and he is even more passionate about the locally-sourced olive oils, which enhance every dish. One you've tried the oils you will join the ranks of those around the world who order their 'fix' online!

(Translated by Google) The restaurant is always a joy both for the welcome and for the dishes cooked with such beautiful local products and lots of love! And the exceptional olive oils that accompany them in magical chords 💫 are truly a sensory experience apart that deserves to be lived ... often !!! I especially love the black fruity, the nicoise ... the Bouteillan is to be tested also at the top of the list with the dishes that suit him preferably 😃 I have had the joy of doing it many times in Nice and also of ordering oils from Nadim online. Everything was perfect and it was a long lasting delight at the table for my whole family.

A truly spectacular dining experience in Nice. Superb ingredients and flavors, and the absolute best olive oils. What is more, Mr. Oliviera is most kind and his wife, the only cook, is sheer perfection. Together, they make an unforgettable, unparalleled duo in a heartwarmingly sentimental space. Merci!

The most wholesome meal in Nice, it felt like we were in someone’s home while they were whipping up their favourite food in the kitchen. The owner is so sweet and loves to share his love of olive oils and fresh produce - only wish we had more time and space to try everything! Also very kind to move tables around to accommodate 4 of us walking in at lunch.

A tiny place with only 24 seats but the quality of food and the service provided by owners was superb. Each dish is complemented by an olive oil which suits it best and all the olive oils are from the region or from the owner’s own olive orchard. The owner serves the guests and speaks also English and German (possibly other languages!), he’s very friendly. He explained all the dishes on the menu which seems to change regularly depending on the season. All food is cooked fresh. We bought two bottles of the local olive oils and will be going back before we leave Nice in 10 days. The picture is of a beautiful vegetable salad with mashed avocado. Note: payment is possible only in cash.

We came here on our last day in Nice for lunch and it was such a delightful experience. The owner was wonderful. He was so helpful with giving us recommendations (especially with my gluten allergy) and also giving us background of our food and the olive oils that paired with it. It was really sweet how proud the owner was of his food and his olive oils.

This place is a must when visiting Nice. Small cozy and simple restaurant in the old town, but wow, expect something different. The owner is an olive oil-specialist and serves different oils to every dish! Only one service a day, so you should make a reservation to be sure to have a table. Tasteful vegetarian dishes, the meat is usually cooked on low temperatures over a long periode. Expect to be entertained with interesting facts and stories by the owner, and to learn a lot about olive oil and fresh food in general. This is something completely else!

We have been several times at Oliviera in the last years, each time we were at Nice. We really love this Restaurant! This year we can´t go to Nice because of Corona. So we ordered many different oils. Less than two weeks later we got the oils at home in Hamburg, Germany. To taste the oils is great and we have the voice of the chef in the ears... . We invited some friends to taste the five oils we ordered. All of them made this the first time and it was a great pleadure. Now we have to order many more oils for our friends... We come back to Oliviera/Nice next year, that´s for sure!

Oliviera is one of the best restaurants in Nice. It's not just the food, which is fantastic. It's the atmosphere and watching the owner tell his diners about the olive oil from around the world, which he also sells. Go to the restaurant for the food and leave with special olive oil and a great experience.
