Good value set menu. 22€ for 3 courses. Would recommend booking in advance. We didn’t and went opening and was asked to sit outside which was still atmospheric. There was only one server looking after all the tables which was quite chaotic. However, this did not limit our experience. The food was excellent, and there was a good choice on the set menu. Portion sizes were generous. Would particular recommend the tuna steak as this was cooked well and not dry.

Turned up right before opening without a booking on a Monday and glad we did otherwise we probably wouldn't have got a table. The food is really good value, three course for €20. I think the menu changes frequently. Food comes out very quickly All our meals were delicious (only critique, probably couldn't eat a whole bowl of the zuchinni mint and cheese soup again)

Definitely worth going to if you can catch a reservation. For 20€, a 3 course menu, you cannot beat the price. Comprable restaurants charge 20-30€ for a main entree. Bless the server/host/bill check/ all in one guy all over the front room. Friendly and patient service from one man doing it all. Small dining room with 2 tables outside. Thankful we got a reservation the day before as the night of reservation was summer solstice celebration in the surrounding area and there were many people trying to get a table with no reservation.

Maybe the best restaurant in Nice! It’s not expensive and the meals are awesome. Made with love I’d say. If Anton Ego was real, he would love this place. The location is small and cosy and it has its very own style. Sounds cheesy but it is not. The staff is very professional but you still have the feeling you’re talking to normal down to earth people in a down to earth place. But the best part is: The food. Definitely five stars!

If you are coming to Nice, you have to experience this quirky, historic restaurant with an amazing back story. It only seats about 24 people and you have to book. They do 2 sittings per night, 7.30 & 9.30pm. You are then sat at a table sharing with other guests, which actually made our evening even more enjoyable! The menu is a set menu with 4 choices from each course. 20€ per head...fantastic. A 50cl carafe of house wine was 7€ and again thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend 👍

Great value for money! The food tasted good, but if you need some spice you'll need to tell them in advance when you're ordering the food. My hotel said it was fully booked for the night and could not get a booking, but we turned up at 7:20 and we got a seat straight away.

The food was delicious. For 20 euros, it’s a steal to have three course meal, budget friendly and if you’re lucky and you got a reservation, you should definitely try it. I enjoyed my food very much but i won’t consider it as my best meal in nice. The menu is limited and it does change every now and then. The portions are what you pay for.

This restaurant is a typical french. We went there for lunch. They has only set menu for 20€. It has starter, main dish and dessert. It does not have main menu to choose only one dish. I got soup but It is cold soup, it is strange for me. I could not finish this plate. The second dish I got tuna (medium rare) with potato, It is not bad. If you like well cook, you should say it before. My boyfriend got duck with wine, it is also rare. I got cheesecake for dessert which is good. Only one staff can speak English. The restaurant is small, it does not have much table.

I made a reservation for this place about a month in advance of our vacation to Nice after reading reviews online because I didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to eat here. It has very limited seating. It did not disappoint. They have a set menu with a fixed price with about 5 options for each of a 3 course meal. While we all enjoyed our starter dishes, my wife's cold tomato soup was hands down the best. I had a local fish for my main course. It was cooked perfectly and the garnish was excellent. Desserts were very good, the highlight being the pavlova. Great experience! Waiter was witty and fun.

Amazing, unassuming, non-pretentious French restaurant. By far my best dining experience in Nice (actually, whole of France). Restaurant only fits 25ish patrons so it’s like dining in someone’s private kitchen. Space is a luxury here so be prepared to chat with diners around you. We had the most beautiful dishes and met some of the friendliest patrons on this night. Definitely a hidden gem! Gave the cashier a large tip and I think he was shooked! Lol

Picked this small restaurant to have our first meal in Nice April 2023. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly price range for a 3-course menu. Food is good and portion is enough. Overall, decent dining experience! Ordered: Beef Salad - Chicken Fricassee - Fromage Blanc Potato Blini w Salmon - Tuna - Lemon Tart Small House red This restaurant was busy throughout the night. Many walk-ins got turned away as it was full. Reservation is recommended.

Amazing meal in Nice. It was booked out 2 weeks for dinner but we managed to snag a table for lunch. Everything we had was delicious. We had the beef cheeks and chicken special for our mains.

Very good restaurant in the heart of the old city of Nice. For 20 € you get a delicious meal with portions that are the perfect size. The place is very small, so make sure to book a table in advance.

A good price and unique experience but it felt underwhelming. I live in Nice and this place has been on my ‘list’ for a long time. The smoked salmon starter was okay but the cheese and bread (???) underneath it felt like a strange combo. The butternut squash gnocchi was fairly bland and I had anticipated this the most. The dessert apple pear crumble had good mild flavor but the crumble was soggy and could’ve benefitted from more time. The food presentation looked great and the service with one server for the family-style seating was great. Seating is extremely close and you’ll be rubbing elbows with strangers so claustrophobes, this may not work for you.

Chez Palmyre is a "pepite" as French people would say. They offer a reduced menu (starter + main + dessert), in turn they guarantee a great quality, with seasonal fresh ingredients, for more than a fair price. Service is kind and welcoming. I will be more than glad to come back again in my future visits to Nice.

What a great find! By all accounts we were lucky to get a spot at this great little eatery. Busy and for good reason. A set menu with 2/3 choices per course for a bargain price of €22. Not a lot of space so prepare to be practically touching neighbouring tables but lovely atmosphere & fabulous food & wine. 👌

(Translated by Google) Pleasant, tiny restaurant in the heart of Old Nice. Fixed menu starter, main course and dessert, at 20 €, renewed every two weeks. Several choices available for each dish, meat and fish, French cuisine from the south-east. Service midday and evening, jovial and rather in the good franquette. The food is fresh, simple, tasty, pleasantly and simply presented. The products are undeniably fresh and of high quality. The terrace is in the cool and shadow of the lane. Inside, the flea market inspiration of the decor takes us back some 60 years in the past. Popular table, reservation recommended! Please note: this establishment does not accept restaurant vouchers, holiday vouchers, etc. But the bank card, yes. Table prisée, réservation conseillée ! Attention : cet établissement n'accepte pas les titres restaurant, chèques vacances etc. Mais la carte bancaire, oui.

Mix of very good cousine, and affordable prices: only fixed menu formula dinner 20 euro (starters + main + dessert). It is good cousine, high quality, with normal portions: not very small to leave hungry, not very big to deal with: optimal. Small, but good choice including housewine. Booking is necessary

Magnificent! We went to Chez Palmyre last night having found this little gem of a restaurant a week or so ago online and calling to book a table. We weren’t disappointed. In fact you HAVE to book in advance. There are only 30 seats and it was full on a Thursday evening and at least that number of people were turned away whilst we ate. I wondered why they called during the day to double check if we were coming….it is because every seat is highly sought after! There is a set three course menu for 20 euros - the food is straightforward and wonderfully tasty. We also had two bottles of the house white wine….which I would highly recommend. Christophe the waiter is tremendous. A great guy and good to chat to. I still can’t believe that we had the wonderful meal and wine for two for just 56 euros. If I could give more than five stars I would!

I was in the middle of a long table with all the French telling me how lucky I was to have just walked in and been given a place. Like a family dinner - pate, stuffed tomatoes, rabbit, panacotta and a new friend who came walking with me afterwards. Sorry no pics. Didn’t want them hating on me as a tourist :)

Very cozy lunch/dinner spot. Only 28 seats, so make sure you get a reservation well in advance. Food was amazing, it's a rotating set menu. 20€/person for a 3 course meal. EXCELLENT VALUE!!!! We ate plenty, and the service was delightful. We felt very welcomed even though our ability to speak French is terrible. Absolutely loved it and would gladly recommend. Wine list was also very reasonable and had a selection to accommodate a wide array of tastes.

The setting of the restaurant is very nice old school, and the service pleasant, the waiter (s) very nice and good advice. The dishes were exquisite! For my part, it is rare to finish a menu with a starter / main course / dessert but for once, I left nothing! Simple but refined menu at only 20 €!
