definitely the best restaurant I’ve been to in Nice. very friendly and helpful staff. I can only recommend their Swiss chard potato gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce. Their desserts are also delicious. A must-try when in Nice :)

MUST TRY IN NICE. BEST DINNERS WE HAD IN NICE. This place is a local restaurant owned by a lovely couple, they serve very authentic local cuisine and they have won “the most authentic Nice local restaurant” 5 times in a row in the last 5 years. This restaurant was recommended by a local tour guide to us, we then had all our dinners in this restaurant to try all the dishes in the menu. Everything is home made and it’s very reasonably priced.

A very small homely restaurant away from the main tourist areas. We were very warmly received by the staffs who went out of their way to make sure that we felt welcomed. We were also given a glass of sparkling wine as welcome drinks which was a nice touch! The food was fantastic and we had an amazing experience dining in. Just one thing about the indoor sitting area. We went in the peak of the summer so the indoor sitting area can feel a bit too hot for some people

This place is a hidden gem ! So delicious and fresh. Highly recommend. Loved the free glass of champagne at the start and great food. The steak was the best my partner has had in the last year and my pasta was very fresh and flavourful. Also get the creme brûlée!! You won’t regret it.

This small place has really great food. It is many times better than the more famous ones like Le Maison. The rabbit and pork dishes have good flavors. The Niçoise salad is wonderful. The apple tart is quite strong and bit too sugary for me.

Great ambiance and the food was tasty and healthy. The meat dishes were light on salt and grease yet flavorful. Generous portions. The waiter was friendly and spoke English. I ate here twice in a row and would highly recommend! Reserve in advance if you plan on having dinner after 7:30.

We visited this little restaurant during our stay in Nice and we were truly delighted. The lamb leg was exceptionally delicious, and the crème brûlée for dessert was absolutely exquisite. The personnel were polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

Tried a few restaurants in Nice. This is my favorite! Highly recommend the Niçoise salad and lamb leg. Yum yum! Good presentation too. About €25 each including the tip but totally worth it! Will go again :)

A nice French restaurant offers many options of French dishes. Reasonable price and efficient service. However the lam leg I ordered was a little tough, not soft enough for me. The rabbit was delicious tho.

Incredible gem in Nice! Absolutely amazing food. Every bite was enjoyable, we didn’t want it to end! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, the tables are very close together but it’s very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and speak enough English to get by if you don’t know French. If you want an enjoyable evening in Nice, I recommend making a reservation here! And don’t forget to order the creme brûlée, it’s to die for!

the friendliest service, and the tastiest home made meal we had in nice. It wasn’t on our list, but after walking by a couple of times during our days there, we couldn’t resist seeing the tasty meals and the full restaurant almost every evening and we did not get disappointed. Worth a visit!

The atmosphere is very cozy. The restaurant is small I think 12 tables for two in total and 2 more tables outside. The menu has not very much to choose from but what we got was very tasty. I had lamb leg with vegetables and my girlfriend had meatballs with gnocchi. They were both delicious. For desert creme brulee for me and tarte Tatin for her. The creme brulee was the best. We could pay with a card (contactless).

Delicious meal! Would definitely recommend reserving a spot, we were lucky we got one without reserving. We had the chicken and basil and rabbit mains which were amazing. The creme brulee and lemon pie were amazing also. Would highly recommend both! The free champagne on arrival was also a lovely touch!

The food is absolutely delicious! A MUST try when in Nice. The staff are very friendly, respectful and efficient. The rabbit is a highlight.

Very cosy local restaurant. We had stewed octopus with rice, garlic rabbit with homemade pasta and crème brûlée. Everything was exceptional. The staff was very friendly. You get a complimentary glass of wine for welcome. Highly recommended.

Excellent Quality and great nicoise food. We had meat balls with pasta and crème brûlée and both were prepared excellently. Additionally, you'll get a free appetizer. The servers are friendly and in a good mood. Unfortunately you can't tip by card, so you'll have to have cash ready for that. Overall a great dining experience.

The outstanding restaurant in Nice! Definitely worth to go there for delicious food! During our stay we have been there twice and both times the service and the food were excelent. We will remember it for a long time, as the experience was unique. We have paid 57 EUR (2 people)/ 82 EUR (3 people).

We appreciated the welcome drinks on arrival and took the suggested options for dinner. We got the Niçoise salad to start with and the octopus and lamb mains recommended by the owner. Unfortunately we were left disappointed by the mains. Salad was as is - sardine, tuna and fresh greens. Eggs were well made. For the mains - Octopus was over cooked and too stringy, sauce was too strong in spices and overpowering, whilst the accompanying rice was just bland. The lamb itself was average but thankfully, the saving grace was the lovely potato cake served on the side. Overall the meal was average and would not recommend the octopus dish.

Such a lovely place! Small, a bit away from main tourist points, but an absolute gem! Great hosts (I assume owners of the restaurant), and delicious food - tasted like home cooked meal. We were also greeted with complimentary glass of champagne and enjoyed the best chocolate cake ever! If you’re up for a dessert and like chocolate, this is a must try!

The Tchitchou is one of the best value-for-money you can get in Nice. Generous portions, good quality, friendly staff... What else in such a touristic area?! Highly recommended.

The restaurant Le Tchitchou was highly recommended to us. It’s esteemed reputation is well deserved. The food was delicious. The waiter went above and beyond to make our experience extraordinary. I would like to remember the wine we were served here because it was so good. And therefore I’ve included pictures of the vintages. This is a friendly place, considering they accommodated foreigners on a very busy night. We came a very long way to eat here and despite us being strangers from far away, the owners were exceptionally welcoming to us. I will remember this place, for their delicious food, outstanding wine, impeccable service and welcoming demeanor.

A very good place to try local food with affordable price, like mom’s family kitchen style. The lamb is juicy and tender, the meat loaf is good too. Thank you!
