    Best overall meal I had in 14 days in france. The presentation, size, price, and most importantly flavor and uniqueness of each dish was superb. The standout was probably the seabass plat. Just get it. Locals seem to love this place as well, which is always a good sign.

    We visited last night for dinner on recommendation. When my sister said she just wanted a drink, women employee reluctantly accepted us. Everything that came to the table with a reluctant and stern facial expression. This is not acceptable to us, or rather to anyone. People expect to be respected as human beings before eating quality food. It's not a restaurant I will go to again. There are many pizzerias in Nice that you can have respect also you will leave more satisfied. I'm giving 1 point by apologizing to the team who did a great job in kitchen. For us, the rules of respect and courtesy take priority over quality foods. It took us about 15-20 minutes to leave the restaurant, including the meal. Finally, many of the staff do not speak English, we had a very difficult time communicating. I think this is not a restaurant for foreign guests who are on holiday in Nice.

    This is a very very good restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing. Local mediterranean ingredients with modern influences and techniques of cooking. I had some amazing ceviche of the catch of the day ( forgot the fish‘s name ). It was a smooth buttery fish in texture with a sweet and aromatic taste. Together with the sweet potatoe mousse ( i think it was that ) it tasted just amazing. Also the homemade ravioli with calamari and carbonara zabaglione… just delicious. They also offer a great selection of french wines in many different pricing areas. Service was nice, quick and polite as well. All in all an amazing dinner :)

    We decided to get dinner here after walking past the restaurant and smelling amazing 🤩 best restaurant we went to in Nice. Service was awesome (very busy restaurant) and food was great. We tried to go back the next day but they were fully booked! Would recommend this restaurant +++

    Tucked away in a quiet little side road, it offers great food, we particularly enjoyed the Ceviche and the Ravioli. The service was friendly and efficient, and had tables for walk-ins, which is nice for a spontaneous dinner.

    Had a great time at this restaurant. Loved the Le Lemon (melon in tartare). Never had anything like and it was refreshing. Le Voilalle (chicken with poullete gravy/mushrooms with gnocchi) was real good and smelled amazing. We also liked the fish (Le Poisson). Also liked the nice, relaxed vibe of the restaurant. Wait staff was slightly slow, but it’s France and they were very friendly. Would definitely recommend!

    Staff was very nice once you get a reservation in. They stag the time great too for dinner so that not too many people are in the space at once. They bring the menu to your table - but its all in french so have google translate handy! I think the foods ok.. not the best but not bad either. The kitchen is right infront of the tables so you can watch a show if youd like on how they prepare your food. I got a lemon ravoli carbonara dish and the bacon flavor wasnt too overpowering but it wasnt that great of a dish itself…

    We have been here two years in a row when visiting France. We loved the food so much in 2022 that we booked our 5th anniversary meal here for 2023. This is by far the best restaurant I have ever visited, and it is the best restaurant in Nice by a mile. We have eaten in many restaurants in the area, some much more expensive, but we will always pick le bar des oiseaux as our favourite. We have had the sabayon carbonara and the veal in supreme sauce, we have also had a few different starters and everything was absolutely impeccable. The service is also fantastic. Would recommend to absolutely everybody 100% and will be back again.

    It was impossible to get a booking online or over the phone before we arrived in Nice but on the day of, in person was so easy! We were also lucky as it got really busy too. The atmosphere was lovely, Julia our waitress was incredible, we left her to choose our dishes and she didn't disappoint, such a wonderful experience and delicious assortment of food and flavours all beautifully presented. The only one I wasn't a huge fan of was the oysters with the foam on it but moreso due to texture than taste and very much a personal preference. I recommend the cerviche and citron ravioli, but all other dishes were great too.

Étant savoyarde, je n’ai pas l’habitude de cela... un assortiment c est au minimum 3 fromages Il me semble... c est la plus grosse déception... enfin, le timing n’était pas top top: nos plats sont arrivés alors que nous étions au milieu de l’apéro ( peu de temps après) , que nous avons dû nous empresser de finir, puis nous avons du redemander nos vins car nous avions notre plat sans vin, et au final, nous avons attendu pas mal de temps avant d’avoir notre Fromage et dessert ...
