Going to Nice and eating Italian was not on our list. But we were passing and a friendly server asked us to look at the menu. We ate after reading and freaking loved it so much we went back again the next day. I had pasta and pizza same as my girlfriend (different each day). Staff was friendly, attentive, the place was underpriced for what you get (portions we're huge) Pizza was probably the best Italian pizza I've ever had. The pastas were amazing. If I could give them more stars I would. Highly recommended.

Pizza was very good but my crust was a few seconds overbaked in the brick oven. Drinks were good and ambiance was good. Even the guy sitting beside us outside blew his smoke away from us as he smoked continuously for two hours. Staff spoke enough English to be accommodating and spot closed at 11 whereas next door they were open for hours.

Classic tourist trap. We arrived to Nice late and hungry. We chose this place because it was bustling, it is currently well rated and the servers seemed nice. We probably should've ordered pizza but went with the pasta which pretty awful - overcooked penne with a completely bland meat sauce reminiscent of hamburger helper. The steak was ok. Skip this one.

We found ‚La Trattoria‘ in Rue de France by coincidence and thought it looked very inviting. End of October they still offered seating outside underneath an awning on the side of a small alley. We loved this place right from the beginning and went there several times during our stay in Nice. Their extremely attentive, friendly and professional staff made us feel on every visit very welcome! They offered the best ‚salade nicoise‘ I have ever had, wonderful and authentic pasta dishes and excellent Pizza all perfectly presented! We unfortunately never managed to eat desert since we were full already - but we saw at the table next to us that ,La Trattoria‘ serves a fantastic desert selection all on one plate - with Espresso and a glass of Champagne!! I will try it next time - promised!! Merci beaucoup once again to all the waitresses and waitors who did such a great job! We will definitely be back next time when we are in Nice and can only recommend your beautiful restaurant to everybody who loves great italian food!!

Delicious food, excellent and fast service (the staff is smiling, friendly and supportive), good portions, and great ambience 💚 Pizza, Salads, Desserts are great; they also have sometimes daily offers (at very good prices); you can share things (salad, pizzas - they will give you extra plates on request) and also give you cold tap water, which is very good, especially in such a hot weather; they also give you complimentary bread (which is delicious dipped in olive oil) 💚 Highly Recommend 💚 Prices: mid-range.

service a bit annoyed. Multiple errors in the bill. Nice Italian atmosphere. Food is decent. Antipasto portion size rather large. Wine list by bottles seems good.

perfect stopover on our roadtrip to spain and portugal. Steak haché frites and pizza for my son, formidable. price okay although in the middle of the touristic zone of nizza.

Great restaurant in a beautiful setting. The pizzas were large enough to feed a hungry person or split between 2 people as well. Great spritz's as well. We all quickly made room for dessert once we saw the options. Our server was right about the strawberry shortcake, it was amazing. The service was excellent and we enjoyed some limoncello on our way out

located on the busy street, if you want to sit outside keep in mind people will be smoking around you. lots of flies around unfortunately. food was ok, nothing special really, very simple. had better Italian. server was nice though and was very helpful with my friend special request for a food for one year old.

Coming from Italy, it was a mistake to come to this restaurant. Service was quick and efficient. However, the food was way overpriced for what we got. My rigatonis got broken, the sauce was not even a sauce. From the taste I did not recall the description from the menu what I chose for myself. The first restaurant experience where the pasta broke and some mixture was put on the pasta instead of the sauce. The taste was very plain too. An experienced chef, who knows how to cook and some quality ingredients could be a great option to align with the high price. Also, we ordered a bottle of water to share and they brought us 2 open bottles. Charged for 10€ instantly for water.

The pizza & chilli garlic oil they have was delicious, really enjoyed it, waitress was on hand if we needed anything and was really nice. Dessert options are limited but I had the chocolate fondue & ice cream. Highly recommend

Eh average experience. Waitress had a bad attitude, no offer of water, bread or Parmesan for the table as other diners were getting. Rolled her eyes when we asked for more time to order. My pasta was so underwhelming, could have made it better myself at home. This was the first time I haven’t finished a pasta dish. My family ordered pizza and this tasted not too bad so would recommend this over pasta.

Early evening meal. Pizza and pasta all where nice. Good spot for outdoor seating. Quiet enough for the service to be quick and no problem. Good to watch the pizza chef making it all. Price was on par with other restaurants in the area.

Really nice food. If you are on a budget you can find some cheap dishes. We had a carbonara and a seafood pasta along with a salad and paid around 40€.

Had a great meal here on our last night in the city. My wife had gnocchi which she said was really tasty. I had the waiter recommended dish of duck with honey and pepper sauce. Really unusual, tasty and well cooked. Bill was quite reasonable. So highly recommended.

Pizza served incorrectly, we asked for correction. When the bill came, we had to pay an extra €1.50 for forgotten salami. Simply outrageous. 15 euros for a pizza in Nice is normal, but I ask the "pizza chef" how he can serve a pizza that is burnt on top and not baked at all on the bottom? Anyone who has a little self-respect should avoid this restaurant.
