If I could I would give more stars. This was not only a delicious dinner but first of all a great experience of kindness, professionalism and cooking skills. Short menu, seasonal, local products. We felt taken care of and spoiled with delicious food. Well done!

A cozy restaurant run by three polite and friendly men, that serves local produce with the greatest of flavors. Highly recommended!

One of the best places I visited in Nice. Visiting here during last 5-7 years, I can say menu not very progressing. No more formula menu, only a-la-carte; small vines list. Sadly this restaurant is not developing its offer

Wonderful Monday night dinner. We arrived in the quant and intimate setting without a reservation and we’re promptly seated, offered water and drinks. Dinner arrived quickly and was excellent. We definitely ate well for the price. The food was delicious and well prepared. Overall would highly recommend this restaurant for the ambiance of old Nice, service and quality of food. One of the better old Nice restaurants.

Very personal touch from the owner, who knows the source of his food and adjusts the menu based on the best available produce. It was delightful going over the menu with him, and everything was exquisite, not a morsel left on the plate!

Had a lovely solo dinner here. The staff were very nice and friendly and the food was fabulous. Be warned that this is a true local spot so you will likely wait awhile for your meal, but this is France so embrace the culture, it’s well worth it.

Delightful and cosy restaurant, away from the hustle and bustle at the centre of the old town. Quiet, great ambiance and even better food! It is clear the owners take pride in their restaurant and the food they serve. It’s like being hosted at somebody’s home as well as being a very lovely restaurant. Would definitely recommend for a quiet dinner with great food and great staff!

This was our first dinner in Nice and we also made it our last. I can't say enough about this intimate restaurant. The food was excellent (try the soup), and the atmosphere was romantic and warm. Our hosts were the friendly and we both felt at home. When we return to Nice, we will certainty be dining here.

The restaurant was full which was the first positive sign. The food was really good and you could see the effort and detail from the chef.

Stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant by accident, and I must say it was the happiest accident I could've hoped for. It's a small place, with a small menu, but both of that actually works to the Côté Marais' benefit in this case. This isn't a run-of-the-mill tourist trap that feeds you some generic dishes you could've gotten anywhere, but a friendly, almost intimate space where you can feel the love for their cuisine (I don't know how they made something as simple as Gnocchi so special) as well as their dedication to provide a memorable time for their customers. I visited the Côté Marais with a good friend, but it might be even better suited for romantic occasions - not because it would aggressively market itself as a dining spot for couples, but because the whole atmosphere is so special, it just seems natural to visit this restaurant with your special someone.

Very romantic and private dinner. We were lucky to get here without the reservation as the food was just delicious and the staff very welcoming.

We spontaneously happened upon this place and are so glad we found it! The staff were seriously so kind, helpful, and warm. They stayed open for us an hour past their closing time and when we asked if they were closed, the owner (I assume) was so kind and told us not to worry, and to enjoy our meal and wine. He also took the time to explain the menu to us, and we found it very impressive that everything was locally sourced and fresh. Seriously such a great spot with good food and even better staff. 10/10 recommend and would come here again!!

Very flavourful food. You won’t be able to leave a bite. We finished the sauce with the fresh baguette they gave us. Choice of red wine was excellent and I am a wine connoisseur. Canada

Wonderful wine and memorable food served by a host in love with his produce. Not a fault in sight, we wandered upon this place by accident and would have returned if our trip hadn’t ended so soon. The finale of figs cooked in butter couldn’t be beaten. Do yourself a favour and just go.

Sigh, our first night in France we went here. Had the foie, the duck, and escargot. I was very excited for my husband to try escargot in France after several misses in the U.S. the escargot tasted like rubber oiled in diesel. The duck had interesting feathers on it that hadn’t been plucked. I was nevertheless determined to enjoy a French duck. However, as I cut into it, the meat was very dry. Even my favorite food foie was cold in the inside. If you must go, skip the duck and the escargot or go somewhere else entirely. There are so many lovely places we checked out in Nice. This restaurant almost turned me away from French food after loving it for so many decades.

I still feel like this dinner was a dream. I walked into this perfect restaurant and it was nearly empty. Had a seat at a lovely corner table surrounded by classy Christmas decorations with a glass of champagne. Had the best foie gras I’ve had in my life then accompanied by the most tasty lamb stew and FRIED gnocchi. Still dreaming of it. Best part was the chef was so personable and came out and sat with me during dinner since it was slow and we had a lovely conversation I feel like can only happen in a Nice. My favorite restaurant experience by far. A must visit for anyone visiting the south of France.

It was a very disappointing and negative surprise. It was a nice place with good music but the food was a tragedy. I don't believe that this place had a chef on the night we were dining at this restaurant. The Beef carpaccio was swimming in vinegar that you could barely taste the meat. The main course "beef stew" was tasteless, chewing and arrived cold as if was defrosting in the microwave... We expected a much better experience with Cote Marais.

The food here is good but be prepared for a long wait as they are severely understaffed being only a 3 man team. Their menu changes quite often so don't rely too much on the photos on google. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the food they serve (but as said, they are pretty busy, you would be lucky if you have some time to chat with them).

Delicious, locally sourced products and a fresh seasonal menu. The staff explained everything on the menu in detail including where the food came from and how they prepare it. Exceptional!

Saw a 4.8 rating on Google review and went there for dinner. The restaurant was fully booked (It only can sit 22 maximum) and felt lucky I had made reservation. Very warm service and the staff speak good English. Surprised to find most customers were tourist the night I was there. Then didn't feel too lucky when we had our meal. The starters we ordered, i.e. onion soup and snails were okay. Very disappointing main courses - we had lamb and Daurade - the lamb was too salty and there were bones and scales in the fish!

Brilliant food with an incredible array of flavours. Snail and mushroom entrée was divine and the lamb main was delicious. Best meal we had whilst in France. To make it even better, the waiters' attention to detail was impeccable. Do yourself a favour and eat here if you have the chance.
