Amazing staff, so friendly and speak good English. Cote de bouef is quite tasty and the tartar with truffle is great. Few wine options and they are just ok. La pissaladière de mémé is not good, don't bother.

We turned up 30 mins before lunch closing time, the restaurant was packed with pre booked diners. The staff was very helpful to arrange a table for us , it was our last meal before returning home. The staff were very friendly, good ambiance! We ordered the courgette flower ( only available in Nice). We tried beef tartare, several dishes recommended to us. Very nice authentic French dishes, we were happy . Price was reasonable! Would highly recommend! Do book a table in advance to avoid disappointment.

We came in as a walk in on Saturday evening around 9 pm. We were greeted by a lady with short hair and glasses. She is just too nice. Her smile is addictive and it was a pleasure to be around her. We had such a lovely time their and the food and service was top notch!

Supreme food and a heart breaking service. Dante is the best place after visiting 3 days Nice and having lots of concerns whether this city earns the positive honors and rumors. I love the comprehensive menu - it's well selected and well served. I like the wine list as well as this combines local and regional offers. Just go and enjoy.

Wonderful service and great food - priced more than fair. The people serving us were smiling and knowledgeable about the food and wine. We had a rose wine from the local area which was a perfect companion to the food. Great place and people!

The cured meat starter was not to our liking (many of the meat were fatty, had acquired tastes and we were not fans of liver). The fries were over fried and were not crispy. The main course servings were generous and were generally tasty. The dessert was great and recommended. Staff were warm and friendly. 👍

A delicious night here at Dante. Staff (owners?) were so kind. Patient with my French, haha. Food was delicious. Beef tartar was so good paired with the salad and fries. Ravioli was ok. The fish dish with a quasi-ratatouille was very good, too. Zucchini flower blossoms and delicious drinks. Great music choices, too!

We ate here our first night in Nice. Wonderful staff and lo very atmosphere. They made a small salad just for me to go along with my Broderie de Poisson a la provencal. My companion had St Jacque grilled scallops. Recommend.

Interesting seasonal Menu items, all food on point, great wine available by the glass! Happy we picked this for lunch, can only recommend!

Restaurant Dante is an exceptional dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions very generous. The service from Vanessa and her team was outstanding. We were made to feel extremely welcome, and the staff were most accommodating. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the decor just stunning. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely restaurant with great staff & amazing food. We spontaneously walked in the restaurant & even though we didn't have a reservation, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We reserved a table for lunch for the next day because we liked it so much. Vanessa, her team & the Chef know what they are doing. The wines are local & superb. If you are in Nice this restaurant is definitely worth a visit, it will not disappoint. This is not our last time here.

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!!! We were first greeted by a very nice, smiley woman, who was kind enough to let us dine though they were booked. Every single person who waited on us was super nice. The standout as mentioned was the woman who never stopped smiling and took the time to explain each of the specials to us in detail in English (their regular menu was translated, but their specials were not). Another kind server helped my husband in selecting a sweet wine and yet another kind man came by to refill our wines, all smiles. All wonderful. And the FOOD! I got a venison steak in a pumpkin purée with a vegetable. It was PERFECT! My husband got a veal, vegetable and gnocchi dish. It was also delicious and the gnocchi was miles better than anything we had in Italy. We also got a lemon meringue pie that was to DIE for. Like I said, if you are in Nice, YOU MUST GO HERE!

A true gem! Wonderful friendly staff that made you feel invited to their home. The food was excellent and genuine - the local Charcuterie/ cold cuts as starters was absolutely amazing. The local Nice wine (a tiny city vineyard) was a very positive surprise as well.

For me Dante is a perfect place to go to in Nice. I went there twice, for lunch and dinner with friends and liked it very much. The people are so kind and welcoming, the food is amazing and the wines are perfect. Also the atmosphere is really nice. Thank you.

I was fortunate enough to have dinner here twice this week. Both meals were delicious with fresh ingredients and a real sense of generosity in a relaxed setting A special mention to the lady manager who was nothing but kind to me, a foreigner, when the card machine refused to cooperate at the end of the meal. I left feeling immensely grateful for her patience and tact in handling the situation 5/5 would go again, as they say

Excellent, very friendly service, delicious food! They also bring a placard with a QR code on it; you scan it, and it opens up your phone's internet browser to their menu (with dish photos!); and, if you use Google Chrome for your browser, you can have it translate the menu descriptions into English (or your preferred language). All very helpful!

We went to Dante Restaurant for our last dinner in Nice and we definetly had the best dinner of the trip, really tasty local food, local wines and super friendly staff! we would definetly recomend the place to family and friends

Great home cooked food. The fries are amazing, real fresh peeled and cooked. Everything was amazing! But book a table in advance because there are a few tables. It's worth the wait. The owners are really nice and speak very well English! Something very reare here. We went there 2 times during our stay in Nice. We took the menu of the day every time.

Very good restaurant with french classics: tartare with fries, steak, fois gras, etc... Very sweet service, good lunches for the daytime, simple wine list, all is good and very nice, affordable prices, intersting seasonal offers. I like this place too come when you don't expect anything special, just good classics
