Was nice place and kind stuff, but two things totally destroyed the impression of this place. First, they refused to serve tapas mix (it was at 7pm, and on the menu it said it’s served from 6 pm till 8 pm). So why mention it? Second, they asked to live in 5 minutes. And no one said it in advance, while offering table (I didn’t even finished my meal, which wasn’t so pleasant, plus all the tables were free).

Amazing, quaint and pretty Mediterranean restaurant! We went there on a short notice on a weekend eve and as feared couldn’t get a seat inside. But the host was kind enough to arrange seats right outside which again was great due to pretty weather. The food was great and I’d strongly recommend anyone looking for MED cuisine in Nice!

Didn’t take many photos of the food because we at so fast - it was all delicious! The restaurant owner is kind and personable and his staff are amazing. You can tell they all truly love what they do and care about the food the make and serve. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We had the special which was a salad and gazpacho with a halloumi bread. We ended with the ice cream (mine was lemon and mimosa blossom - absolutely incredible).Overall amazing food, great ambience, and superior service.

Had the most amazing meal yesterday at Saj. We ordered the special of the day on the recommendation of the owner and it was amazing. The food was really fresh and packed with flavours. One of the best meals we have had. Would love to go back.

Amazing salad, food and service! Totally worth checking out ❤️ my only comment is that would be nice if the gluten free options were more clear in the menu.

Pretty disappointed with the place. We went there after seeing the good reviews here. We thought the food is really pretentious and overrated. We have had Lebanese food at multiple places (even here in Nice at a place that provides great food and offers better variety for a reasonable price!) and never been disappointed. The menu itself is kinda ridiculous - there is nothing much on offer here. The food was not bad, but it was below average and overpriced for what is offered. And charging 5.5 euros for a bottled lemonade is a rip off! The only saving grace was the lady who waited on us, who was friendly and kind. I wouldn't recommend at all!

Amazing fresh and flavor filled Mediterranean brunch! Service was wonderful, spoke English and very personable. There is a small art gallery on the walls as well as cute decor and atmosphere. Left satisfied! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Nice!

Stumbled across this Lebanese spot. We did the set brunch menu and it was SO good. Really well thought out, fresh and well presented. The drinks served alongside were a great addition. Service was friendly, warm, knowledgeable and efficient.

Intimate and welcoming restaurant serving a variety of Lebanese pizzas. Also one of the few vegetarian places opened on Mondays! The owner was super friendly. We enjoyed all four savoury flavours and the refined sugar free vegan cheesecake. The after meal floral hot tea was a nice way to warp the meal.

We were late to lunch and the ladies accommodated our request for a table. Super friendly and delicious food, recommendation of the plat du jour was so tasty and the raspberry cheesecake.

It was a delightful discovery of Lebanese vegetarian foods. The lady was really kind and tried hard to explain all the menus. Lebanese white coffee was so impressive.

Really cozy place with a nice and friendly atmosphere. The chef and staff were all super nice and forthcoming and also spoke really great English, which is a great positive for tourists. The chef explained the concept of the restaurant to us, and also told us about the daily special, which we ordered, among other things. The daily special (lentil soup and romanesco salad for us) was absolutely amazing! All the other plates we ordered were also really really good, all the flavors were balanced extremely well. Definitely recommend going here, especially as a vegetarian or vegan, if you want to have some really tasty food with great ingredients and fresh flavors.

Delicious vegetarian & vegan food in Nice. Lebanese style flatbreads with a range of different fillings. Great menu of the day (soup, flatbread and salad). The owner is extremely friendly and informative!

Five stars all the way. You must stop by if you are up for a delicious vegetarian or vegan meal. We had the Zaatar flatbread (my favorite) and a lunch menu that consisted of Feta flatbread, a soup and tabbuleh. Our gracious host (Sehem) recommended what we should try and recommended places to visit nearby. We felt welcome with her as our host. This is a must try Lebanese-cuisine restaurant in Nice!!

I happened upon SAJ while looking for vegan-friendly options in Nice. Although there were many dishes to choose from, the selection of the day proved to be a winning combination of flavors and the perfect lunch for a day exploring the Côte d'Azur. The delightful blend of fresh ingredients was rivaled only by the cheery and helpful owner and staff who delivered, not only a delicious meal, but a smile and a welcome to Old Nice. I immediately shared this recommendation to my plant-leaning friends back home and others who enjoy a delicious meal.

We got there around lunch time and sat outside. Decor was very tasteful and outside tables had blankets, which was very nice. It’s a busy little street, so expect lots of people passing by, but I think that adds to the charm. The owner was very sweet and accommodating, suggesting various dishes. We got the artichoke and pine nut flatbread and a side of hummus with lavash. The flatbread was hot and fresh, and the hummus tastes like it was just made. The coffee was really good too.

Had food at SAJ with my partner last night. Everything was very tasty and the service was great too. Glad to see many vegan options on the menu, including the amazing vegan raspberry cheesecake as dessert 🍰! Definitely raccomended for those who want to try something a bit different, that stands out from the crowd of same-food restaurants in Nice! 😁

Absolutely loved it. I had the Zaatar flatbread which was delicious. I also had a tea which the waitress suggested and it was so good but I don't remember its name. I would also like to highlight how the waitress and rest of the staff made me feel at home all alone in a foreign country. The atmosphere in the streets of old Nice was amazing.

We had a lovely lunch here. The atmosphere was fantastic, the owner is lovely, you felt like eating at home. The quality of food was superb, bio and vegetarian, although the portions were rather small. The capsicum (bell pepper) soup was phenomenal! I 100% recommend it!

Not good enough. The food is vary basic. Expect 0 sophistication when you order s dish. Decent, but nothing better than one would prepare quickly at home combining cheese, tomatoes, and bread. They also charged us 3 euros for each peace of gluten free bread they brought us, which I found insulting. They anticipate a 3 euros tax for being gluten intolerant in their menu (which is already discriminatory), but I never expected having to pay the tax every time they replaced normal bread with gluten free bread. The waitresses had also forgotten our reservation and made us wait (not too long) to be seated.

Go visit this place!!! The food is of good quality and the host (also cook) is very hospitable. He serves traditional Lebanese flatbread with delicious stuffings. The one with bell pepper paste and the one with spinach are truly an explosion of flavours. Don't forget to take a dessert. Ask for the sorbet ice because it is not on the menu. The best sorbet ice you will taste in your life. We also got some nice recommendations from the host for visiting Monaco the next day. These were also spot on. I can't stress it enough but do visit SAJ when visiting Nice!!

Our whole experience was enchanting. The Saj bread is delicious and everything with halloumi was mouth watering. The people welcome you in with warmth and humor - I felt like part of the Saj family! The salad and soup are fresh everyday based on what is available at the market, and they have amazing vegan flower-based ice cream. The ambience was also lovely, with art all over the walls by local artists. We’re hoping to come again before leaving Nice!

This place was incredible! Just happened to stumble on it and luckily got seating without a reservation. We got the special for the day and it was delicious. The owner, Danny, is the nicest guy and all the workers were so fun. Check this place out!!

A very nice and friendly place! The food can even be a little expensive, but the friendliness and good hospitality of the place compensate it. I really recommend this restaurant! PS: For vegetarians, it's a great option!

Incredible food! And such a cozy spot and lovely atmosphere. I was travelling alone and feeling a bit lonely but as soon as I was sat I was speaking with the women next to me and felt right at home. The owner Danny is a sweetheart and kept checking in and chatting with me and making me feel very welcome. The entire meal but especially the ice cream was amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough.
