I had an amazing evening. I was strolling through the Old town when I’ve stumbled upon this restaurant for a late lunch. It was a sunny day and I’ve wanted to enjoy the sunshine. The Terrace was perfectly facing the sunlight. They’ve offered a non stop service. I’ve ordered the set menu. When you’re in Nice, you can’t miss “Les petits Farcis”. It was delicious. The veggies were nicely filled with minced meat and very juicy. Perfectly cooked: with a little crunch on the outside. Followed by Lamb chops, served with potato purée and mix salad. Again perfectly cooked. Then to end it with Crème brûlée. It was devine! The staff was very welcoming, the service was quick and efficient. They even have baby chair. They were also very friendly with my son. I love their unique decor in the inside, with different painting and portraits. It was a perfect day, and I will definitely come back!!! ☺️ Perhaps I’d like to try their pizzas, cooked in the wooden oven.

Good but not impressive. Fried salmon is not recommended. Though it is crowded, the guys are friendly. Lower one star due to its price.

A very good place to eat. I would say the best value u get here is the menu. I had one with the salad nicous, the beef stew and the dessert of the day. Everything was good and i was there another time for the Pizza.

Food was absolutely delicious. It surprised me how thing the fried layer of the seafood/vegetables is, sorta like the one you experience with eating tempura in a sushi restaurant, but it is French. Takes a bit long to get food and service during August though. Very friendly service from the lady with short hair.

Very good stuff, good food. My sister had a birthday and they made her surprise, a cake with candle.

We couldn't have been happier with our experience! From start to finish, everything was simply wonderful. The quality of the food certainly met our expectations. Every dish we ordered was delicious and prepared with care. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were spot-on. The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful. It had a charming and cozy ambiance that perfectly complemented the old town setting. The service we received was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Considering the prime location, we found the prices to be very fair. We felt that we received great value for our money, given the quality of the food, the superb service, and the overall experience. It's a place where you can have a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

Welcoming waiters and nice atmosphere. The starters (artichoke and fried calamaris) were very good. Pizza was okay, even though there wasnt any sauce on it. The steak was too well done and chewy, even though we ordered medium. The fisherman soup was tasty, but did not look very appetizing. The mayonaise that came with the soup looked like it had been out all day. Tiramisu was a little watery, but the creme brulee was very good.

Been here a few times over the years and we've never been dissapointed. The staff are friendly enough given how busy it was, and the portions if food were ample. I had the seafood soup which was good, tasting very fishy, the other half had grilled peppers which again was good. I then had the lapin, one of my favourites, and I have to say as well as being cooked perfectly, was also a very generous portion, meanwhile the other half had the sea breem, which had been deboned and was very moist cooked realy well and came with the most buttery mash ever, heaven! We shared a tarte tatin, I say shared because the portion was way to big for one. After 17 yrs of coming here, this place still ranks as one of the best.

We had the beef stew over ravioli and the gnocchi with parmesan sauce. It was amazing! Also started with the calamari which was perfect. Staff was super friendly too. Very nice restaurant!

Arrived feeling very hungry so the tomato and mozzarella starter was most welcome, as was the St Omer beer. A little concerned about the lengthy wait between courses but when the cod arrived I instantly forgave them. Portion size is quite generous. Left feeling very content. Particular mention goes to the mashed potato from the scampi plate.

One of the great places of Cours Saleya, with this rare capability of serving you a bit after typical hours. Winter terrasse is lovely. Cuisine is good, service is cool.

Mixed feelings. The restaurant is in a very touristy area, and this is also shown in the prices. The food varies also. The fried calamari were very good, but the tripes were a bit boring. The entrecote was not too good. Service was also weird. Our waiter was friendly, but for example some food came 30 minutes before other peopls food which was annoying. We also asked repeatedly for more water and did not get it. Honestly, this restaurant is ok to go, its not a total tourist trap as the food is not too bad, but its not really worth it if you dont need to eat in this part of the city.

Good location right opposite the beach. Food was surprisingly nice, sea food well cooked and tasted differently. There were street singers performing enthusiastic music, so nice vibe. The only annoying thing were probably flies around.

Given the location on the tourist strip, surprisingly good, delicious food (with tourist pricing aka slightly higher than normal). Service was slow but friendly when available. Our server was working hard and in our case delivered 2 meals that were practically finished eating before the final two arrived. We also received our apps before receiving our drinks. In my opinion, the owner is either raking it in by over working his staff, or possibly they were short staffed as there appeared to be only two servers looking after a very large patio area (including one group of close to 20 people).

Not a bad attempt for a non-Italian restaurant to cook the famous Linguine with clams. Too much oil maybe, but it was good anyway. The ravioli were absolutely stunning! And the fishballs as well. Nice service and atmosphere.

Delicious food great service and atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. Make sure you have a reservation otherwise difficult to get to a table.

It was a great night at the lively atmosphere of cours saleya, worth the money spent. I got a menu with 3 courses: first nicoise salade, then salmon and chocolate cake as a desert. First to mention: Nicoise salade is the original recipe if you want to try something local. And it was quite a big portion and tasty. Salmon was well cooked, the taste was well balanced with the sauce and the potato puree was fantastic. You'll not be disappointed, they are always packed; but not at the expense of the quality.

Fantastic tuna fish salad, local assortments and fish soup and great fries. We loved the wine recommendation too! We queued a bit but it was worth it. This is a great place!

Welcoming staff, especially the gentleman who looks like Olivier Giroud, really friendly and professional. Abundant and good quality food, price from 25 euros up.

Restaurant specialized in the traditional cuisine of Nice, recommended by the office of tourism. A little bit more expensive then the surrounding restaurants. The food is really good, the portion is huge. The servers are very friendly. The service is extremely slow but not to their faults since obviously they are overwhelmed by the number of guests.

The first restaurant that got our attention in the old town in Nice. Staff are very friendly and the place is really busy! I love all the food and the wines.

It was okey, but that's all. We were there with friends, a big plus for the quickly setting up a table for 7 people. I ordered ravioli, but the sauce looked like tinted water.

Very good food considering it’s location in the touristy area. My boyfriend and I shared a pizza and salad, both with the most delicious olive oil. They also had a decent amount of vegetarian options. Service was friendly too.

Great food, friendly service, busy restaurant! Came for lunch on a Sunday and had to wait an hour to get a seat. Very busy place full of locals and tourists. Food is great, and wine isn’t too expensive. Staff is fast and efficient. By ordering the menu: Niçoise salad, lamb chops and nougat ice cream is delicious and to recommend! Cascades Niçoise is a great opportunity to try local appetizers. Location is great, right in the middle of Vieux Nice and in the heart of the Cours Saleya.

Excellent food with a freshness that you'd come to expect from the Cote d'Azure. The seafood was epic! The local craft beer was also of exceptional quality. This was a great meal lending overall to a great holiday experience!

Great local restaurant for lunch. I loved the pesto pasta. It was fresh flavorful and deliciously light in olive oil. They have a large outdoor seating area as well as large size indoor space. Very popular with tourists and locals. During busy times you could wait 30 mins to get a table and another 40 mins to get your food, so be prepared. Waiters can also be a little rude as they are so busy. But overall still good food and decent prices. Also open to serve food at most hours, unlike most restaurant with limited service times.
