If
you
speak
French
this
is
probably
an
OK
place
to
visit.
If
you
only
speak
English,
expect
service
with
disdain
and
a
feeling
that
you,
the
customer
are
an
interpretation
to
their
work
instead
of
the
purpose
of
it.
S-l-o-w
service
would
be
charitable
as
it
was
practically
no
service
as
we
had
to
ask
for
everything
more
than
once.
Drink
order
was
taken
and
it
was
22
minutes
from
when
I
began
timing,
which
was
probably
7-10
minutes
into
the
wait.
Drink
order
was
wrong:
Asked
for
Absolute
vodka
on
the
rocks
with
lemon
wedge.
Received
vodka
neat.
Took
another
6
minutes
to
get
it
back.
We
ordered
dinner
at
the
same
time:
Sharing
a
Caprese
salad
and
onion
soup
to
start,
and
the
crustacean
platter
(See
pic)
as
a
shared
entrè.
And
the
platter
was
brought
out
before
we
ever
got
our
soup
and
salad,
which
are
under
their
'starters'
menu.
No
plates
or
crab
crackers
or
picks/cocktail
forks
were
offered
with
the
massive
platter,
just
a
"Bon
appetite"
and
departure
faster
than
we
could
ask
for
plates.
Now
here's
the
reason
I
said
you
need
to
speak
French:
I
had
seen
a
blue
bottle
of
tap
water
delivered
to
the
round
table
adjacent
to
us.
We
asked
for
some
water
for
the
table.
No
questions
were
asked
what
type
of
water
and
the
server
came
back
more
quickly
than
at
any
other
time
with
a
large
bottle
of
Evian
(still)
water.
He
plopped
it
on
our
table
and
faster
than
anything
else
that
happened
in
this
entire
experience,
his
bottle
opener
had
removed
the
cap.
He
didn't
pour
any
of
the
water
and
I
assume
this
was
to
avoid
lingering
and
catching
my
protest
(if
they
can
get
away
with
it,
they
'sell'
you
a
bottle
of
water
for
5
to
8
Euros).
I
got
it
removed
from
the
bill.
Lastly,
we
weren't
offered
a
basket
of
bread
like
the
French
speaking
guests
at
the
nearby
tables
and
you'll
see
the
blue
water
bottles
on
the
tables
around
us.
On
my
way
to
the
water
closet,
I
observed
several
tables
of
guests
devouring
large
amounts
of
food
and
toasting
one
another
in
the
country's
language.
So
in
conclusion,
my
advice
is
to
avoid
this
place
if
you
don't
speak
French.
Food
was
also
pretty
pedestrian
too.
More
about
presentation
than
quality
of
taste.
