If someone woud like to eat cheapest sosseges and other cheapest ingridients, this place for You. Few years ago,, in my opinion, it was the best china restrong in Nice, but not anymore. Quality is just terrible. Never come back.

I thought the food was fairly average and it was a hot day and the AC wasn’t working terribly well so difficult to eat super spicy food. They did not put the one of the order thru to the kitchen properly and we ended up waiting for 40 min until we gave up on it and left. None of the staff properly checked up on my request and never apologised for messing it up. I do not recommend it, especially for people looking for authentic Chinese food.

Food was not good. Served a chicken dish with peanuts but there were more peanuts than chicken. Very oily and sweet sauce on the chicken/peanuts. Not much flavor other than oil and sweet. Also got dumplings with chili oil. The chili oil used did not taste like chili oil at all. It was very bland and had little to no spice to it. The food came out quickly which was nice considering how hungry I was, but surprising when all of my food came out in under 5 minutes. I don't know if the food is made to order, but it seemed very quick for it to be. The staff were friendly but no excuse for the food. Do not be fooled by the high star reviews from before. If you want oily/sweet food with little meat then maybe this is what you are looking for, but I did not think anything I ordered was what I expected it to be. I've tried out multiple Sichuan style restaurants in New York and California and they all had a similar tasting chili oil. This is the first restaurant I've had with such flavorless and colorless chili oil. It could very well just be my personal preference, but I would caution anyone looking to try some authentic Chinese food to steer clear from this place. Dishes I ordered : Chicken with peanuts Green beans Dumplings with chili oil Steamed rice (no fried rice available here)

I don't usually like to write reviews for businesses. But the reviews of this restaurant are so unreal. I have to speak about my real dining experience. The sauerkraut fish only has a black pepper taste in addition to the salty taste. And only a few poor pieces of fish. Also accidentally found plastic packaging inside. I ordered sweet and sour tenderloin, braised eggplant and cold noodles. The above three are still edible, but they are not authentic Sichuan flavours. The waiter is nice.

Delicious and authentic Sichuan food. My husband and I were in France for a week and we were in dire need of some Asian fare. This place delivered and more! We read the overall great reviews but as a Chinese person the glowing reviews from other Chinese people made this stand out. When we arrived, all of the diners were Chinese (promising) and I knew this place was going to be a home run when I saw the sour plum tea with the spicy dishes. We ordered the sour cabbage fish (delightful to have since we had a chilly evening) and some sauteed veggies because we haven't been eating as much greens as we normally do. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, everything tasted authentic. Quick and friendly service. We plan to come back in a day or two!

This is not a authentic Sichuan restaurant at all. I think all Chinese hold the same opinion as us. And the most serious problem is that the dishes do not look like the pictures on the menu at all!!! Completely fake pictures. And they do not use the most importance red oil sauce so they cannot create the real Sichuan flavor. The service is not bad but I suggest that they get an air conditioner.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Nice. Situated in the heart of the old town, Panda Chine is a restaurant that serves some of the most authentic Chinese cuisine in the area. I have tried a lot of their dishes but the two that remain absolutely outstanding are the mapo tofu and the aubergine in a spicy oily sauce. Both dishes are priced at just eight euros and for a euro more, you could fetch a bowl of sticky rice and you’re good to go!! Everyone that loves asian cuisine must check this place out. I must say, I found the staff to be extremely polite, they spoke French and English both and were very quick with their services...they also make good suggestions of what to get.

The food here is as delicious as three years ago when we went here. We have asked for less spicy and the chef made it less spicy, so my daughter could eat it. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. Like we said, the food was very tasty, using fresh ingredients, and has a nice “wok power”. Highly recommend this place if you want to eat some good authentic Chinese food in Nice.

++ Mixed feelings ++ We decided to go there for a quick dinner. Without a reservation the lady told us only a table outside would be possible. That was totally fine for because it was spontaneous. So we decided for take away. ——— We were waiting for our order 1/2 hour. Agreed, we were not the only ones who ordered something. The dished were finished to different times. You can imagine some things were cold at home. The dishes were okay but nothing special. We were wondering why everything is so unstructured. We recognized that during we were waiting. It seems they are overstrained.

Incredible flavor and taste! Love this authentic piece of Chinese cuisine in the heart of old town Nice. All outside tables were full with people, service was quick and easy, super friendly staff. If you’re craving some Chinese, this is the place to go!

I missed Chinese food a lot so we came here for dinner. We had a few different dishes, hot and sour soup and some noodles. Everything was very nice and authentic. The staff was kind and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone hungry for some sichuan flavours. Ps. If you love spicy you can ask them to raise the spice level.

Wow, did not expect to find this authentic sichuan restaurant in Nice! Beef in spicy soup is superb, the beef is so tender, and the soup is very flavorful!

Portions are great and dishes are not expensive. We ordered online and they were quick. Nems and desserts were good but chicken was dry. The way everything is cooked is very oily, and the excess of oil is not removed. Thus, this is not the best choice for people with intolerances to fat or digestion/colon problems.

Best Chinese in Nice. No idea where all these hate reviews are coming from but they certainly can’t be from people who’ve eaten real Chinese food. As a Chinese person, I found this restaurant to be authentic and delicious. Portions were good, food was tasty so nothing bad to say at all. If you’re looking for hearty Asian flavours, come eat at Panda Chine. Will definitely be back for more!

Amazing food! (Big portions!) The server spoke incredible English, it tasted amazing (buy the aubergine, you won't regret it), but what was important for us was that they could make their tofu dishes vegan and they all tasted incredible. A small hidden gem in Nice, would recommend!

I've been here a few times now and they never disappointed, if you're looking for "real" Chinese food then this is your place. Their menu goes way beyond the usual dishes you find in westernised Chinese restaurants and everything is perfectly prepared. The location unfortunately is nothing special but, while portions are definitely on the big side, it's not cheap (around 20€ for a main course).

Accidentally found this small Chinese restaurant. The restaurant has a nice authentic Chinese feeling to it, but certainly nothing tourist-y and maybe a but rundown. But the food is fantastic, absolutely authentic and delicious with great spices, also offering some extraordinary dishes. Staff was very kind and could answer my questions. The dishes were very very good.

Exceptional - service, authentic flavours, quality, quantity (“please tell me you have doggy bags” to “ignore that - couldn’t help myself to finish it;)”. Delightful! Coming back soon I hope - j’espere!

Coming from America I'm very used to American style Chinese food. This place felt similar to what I'm used to only better. The crispy sweet and sour pork dish was prepared to perfection. The hot and sour soup was just as well done. The three small crispy pork egg rolls were also a nice touch. What a great find down in an alley way. It sounds strange to say a Chinese restaurant felt like home but it definitely did. Don't miss this one.

Not bad…. Reasonable price and quiet tasty

Kind servers, and the food was not bad. I got the eggplant, and my friend the Sichuan chicken. We also ordered sides of rice because it doesn’t come with it. A bit on the pricey side. But the reason for knocking off a star is because the chicken mostly consisted of bones and not meat. I don’t eat meat but I confirmed with my friend and my mom that Sichuan chicken shouldn’t come with any bones that you have to eat around or pick out.

Very authentic Chinese food! The fish with pickled cabbage and chicken with chili sauce we ordered were sufficient for two people.

Horrible food. Overcooked tofu bathing in the oil. I could not eat that. They did even force me to pay for it. Dont go there.
