Good and authentic food. Small place so make sure you reserve a table in advance.

Decent food. Pho soup tasted “clean” - no artificial flavor / MSG. Frog leg was delicious too, although the portion was strikingly small. Came on a Friday night; no problem to get seated right away. Staff was friendly, patient, wearing smile all the time. Decoration appeared a bit outdated but overall the environment was clean and comfortable. PS, we went back another two times and tried a bunch of other stuff including fried noodles, beef salad, etc. Food has been consistently fresh and tasty; the owner consistently friendly and warm. Therefore I updated the rating to five stars (from four) to reflect the desire that I would definitely visit again when in town next!

We were looking for a nice vietnamese place during our stay in Nice and we definitely found it! I’ve never had better food and service in my life. I ordered the crispy pork (10/10). The staff was absolutely amazing, very kind and service was fast. We didn’t stay very long in Nice but I would have loved to come back a second time ! Would definitely recommend this place to others and would make sure to stop here again on my next trip.

I would describe this as an absolute gem of a Vietnemese restaurant. The food is of an outstanding quality and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. I had the pork spring rolls for starter which were delicious, succulent and moreish. For my main I had the duck on a bed of onions which again was superb. Whilst I was there it was someones birthday and they dimmed the lights to bring out the woman's birthday cake which I could see was a warm and lovely genuine gesture. Being an outsider I got the impression that it gets a lot of repeat local business due to both the friendly ambience as well as the quality of the food. Also worth adding that it is reasonably priced. A must visit if you fancy some authentic Vietnemese fare on your trip to Nice.

We stopped in for lunch one afternoon. Fantastic service and truly friendly staff. Our meal was delicious, we tried the shrimp tempura as well as the Bo Bun with pork. Highly recommend it and we’d definitely go back for tasty Vietnamese food.

I very much enjoyed eating here! So much so that I went back multiple times while I was in Nice. The ambience and food are top quality and their pho in particular is one of the best I have ever tried. The restaurant owner is super sweet and service is amazing and fast. The Bo Bun is very average. But my sister had pho, and she said it was really good! So, I think if you’re going there, just try the signature pho selections they offer.

Luckily, we got there right after they opened at 7pm. The dinner crowd started to fill up the seats. This place actually has a large variety of Asian food, like Chinese and Thai, other than Vietnamese. I ordered the set meal. The spring roll (pictured) was excellent. My wife and daughter ordered the pho, and was excellent also.

We had Pho and the Beef Sate sauce and I have to say both dishes were great! The Pho is prepared in southern Vietnam style (I'm traveling from Germany and usually you find Pho in northern style in Germany) and even though the amount of vegetables and herbs is not as generous as the northern style one (mainly bean sprouts), the flavor is stronger (from the more dense broth) and more to my liking. The sate sauce of the beef sate smells and tastes great thanks to the coconut in the ingredients and the seasoning so it really elevates the flavor of the beef. The dishes we tried were great and the owner was friendly and welcoming. All of these elements combined made it a great experience for anyone who wants to try out Vietnamese food prepared in southern style

Had the best Beef Pho and Spring Rolls here! We came at lunch time and were lucky to get a table. The owner is super friendly and made time to chat with us too. The Pho is very flavorful and the Spring Rolls are super crispy and filling. Tastes just like homemade vietnamese food. Will definitely come back here when I’m in Nice

I found this little hidden gem on Google as I was craving for Vietnamese soup. I have eaten countless pho in my life but their soup is one of the best, if not the best. It is just so flavouful and fresh, everything about it is perfect. I cannot wait to come back next time I am in town!

Honestly one of the best bowls of Pho I’ve ever had! I’m from Vancouver and we have a lot of amazing Vietnamese food so I wasn’t expecting anything special in Nice, but this was amazing!! The broth was super flavourful and perfect 👍🏼 If you’re feeling a craving for Vietnamese food while in France definitely check this place out :)

I come from Toronto where there are endless Vietnamese restaurants and this is still one of the best I've ever been to. The lady who works here provides excellent service and is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was flavourful and served in generous portions. I highly recommend Restaurant Chez Tanh. If I lived in Nice I would definitely be a regular.

Simple classic Vietnamese food at good price with friendly service. We enjoyed the crab salad and the Saigon soup then shared a salt and pepper cuttlefish. Decor is good if you like garish coloured lights. Easy walk from Chagall museum.

Ruined our evening: Very disappointing and not to recommend - food and especially service lack quality. Some Reviews about this restaurant are clearly not real, there are way better vietnamese options in the city. We came from another neighbourhood to eat vietnamese here, like we already did it in many countries around the world. This is the first restaurant that doesnt offer any(!) vegetarian option. When kindly asked if they could leave out meat in one of their meals the waitress was rolling with her eyes and said there is no way they would do that.. My partner was extremly hungry and had to eat there. He got an oily tasteless curry with chewy meat of the poorest quality.. The maximum of unprofessional behaviour was reached when the waitress even didnt say goodbye or thank you when we left the restaurant after paying…
