Excellent Mediterranean meals with a restricted wine list. This old restaurant sits in the heart of Old town Nice serving French and Italian inspired dishes. We had their Assiette de Specialitates Niçoises which is an assortment of appetizers. A variety of flavors blend nicely, but recommend asking for bread to balance the oily bites. Their rabbit was amazing with perfect consistency and flavor profile. The Gnocchi Niçois is the recipe of the grandmother previously cooking at the restaurant and is based on slow cooked beef in red wine reduction with soft gnocchi. I must point out their creme brulee. Obviously, this dessert is served everywhere so to catch a unique version is rare. Their brulee has amazing vanilla notes that are so hard to find. The wine list is somewhat restricted (hence the four stars). The service is exceptional - we were lucky to have a French gentleman who was there when needed, but didn't interrupt our conversation. Will go back to the restaurant and try more meals.

I saw the high rates and came… But it is one of the most TERRIBLE restaurants I have ever been. Too disappointed. I mislead by the review totally as they are not real. We came early but after waiting for around half hour, I finally saw my starter! Salad Nicoise named with their signature looks so cheap 🥲 It seems are using all the rest ingredients of other dishes: messy, cheap tuna can…😖😖 Then I waited for 60mins after starter and could not get my dishes. People around me faced the same situation. I tried to talk with them and wanted to leave without eating my main course. They ignored me firstly. Then printed my bill in silence and said that “pay it then you can leave” i said it is not fair if I did not eat and pay the main course. Then they suddenly angrily yelling : “Do you want to wait for your dish? or not? Tell me! You must pay all the things” I said It has been one and half hour. I have to go and I can pay my salad. They told me that I must wait or pay main course before leave as the dish is cooking now…. Terrible experience! They did not show any apology during this entire process and very arrogant, angry, impatient. How could this restaurant become sooo popular. I really doubt. No matter the food taste or the people, they are disaster to tourists. Be careful people! Don’t let them ruin your day😖😖😖 千万别来, 快跑, 他们的服务员凶的像是黑手党团伙,太可怕了。

Just an amazing place in the old town with Italian and local cousins. The stuff is friendly and server fast even if it’s crowded . We tried wild cod and tartar and it was delicious.

Food is quite plain (I had to sprinkle salt over) but overall good. Potion is huge. They have the menu combo with very affordable price (28,5e full course).

Little hidden gem. We had the set menu for 26€, portions were the perfect size, the staff was really attentive and lovely. Food was delish and the presentation was great. Would recommend!

It was hard to choose from the many options, mostly Niçoise inspired. We ordered beef ravioli and a fish dish, both were very delicious. We paired this with excellent local rosè.

Raviolis looked really good but unfortunately were very bland. Thank god for the parmigiano on the table. The Gnocchis with Gorgonzola that my partner ordered were good tho and I’m sure the pizzas are nice. Just avoid the raviolis :/

Oh how this restaurant hit me right in the heart. Lovely fresh food full of flavors and nostalgia from my childhood. Ordered the rabbit dish, couldn't of cooked it any better. Waiter was charming, funny and overall gentleman. Definitely recommend stopping by after a walk at the Promenade. Won't be disappointed.

The food was not the best, here’s a breakdown of what we ordered. Octopus salad 2/10 Vegetable fritters 0/10 Veal steak 8/10 Grilled seabass 7/10 Beef tartare 3/10 But the saving grace was the waiter who made the entire night amazing. Also if you’re looking for a place with large portion sizes, here’s the place to burst belly! 😂

The menu has something for everyone (mainly a Nicose and Italian menu) with a kids menu for 10€. The wife and I opted for the meal deal which comes with an appetizer or salad (they did not make these smaller, they were full menu size), then a choice of entree (I believe it was 5 options), and a full sized dessert each. That was about $29€ per person, but if done separately it would have been closer to 40 or 45. I had ravioli with the beef stew sauce which was rich but not heavy on the stomach at all. The kids each got a pizza Margherita thinking they could each eat a whole one but these are good sized pizzas and plenty filling for about 11€. They had plenty left over to take home for lunch the next day. The pizzas are made in a wood burning oven visible from the street. The service was quick and we were able to be in an and out and back to exploring the city in no time.

Lovely lunch here! Shared a pizza and a burrata with my husband thinking we might need more food, but we had half a pizza leftover! We got the one with eggplant, sweet red peppers and olives and it was SO good. The burrata was delicious and came with these tomatoes that looked and tasted so fresh. Everything was wonderful and the patio is on a picturesque street.

Excellent service, reasonable prices and regional dishes. Everything we had was fantastic. The steak was cooked to perfection. Great char and medium-rare, there was a choice of Gorgonzola or 3 pepper sauce. Fish of the day was served on a bed of vegetables and was also cooked to perfection.

I came here yesterday for lunch with my parents. We enjoyed the food very much. It was tasty and the portions were big. The service was fast and our waiter was very nice and attentive. I will definitely be back!

Very friendly service and delicious food for reasonable price. Everything we ordered was good and the location was quite romantic in the middle of the old town. Totally recommend to visit if anyone is visiting Nice 😊

Good ambiance and service. Recommendations are amazing. I would go again when I am in Nice. Prices are also normal.

A lot of food - didn’t eat half of it - but sadly it’s not very good. Should have smaller portions and improve the quality of the food. The stew was just salty with no interesting taste. The nicoise used canned tuna - or it at least tasted like that. There are lots of things on the menu. It tries to be a jack of all trades, but is a master of none.

Absolutely stunning food! I would say the best pizza i have ever had. Although many French dishes, there are few for vegetarians which mainly consist of pizza and pasta. Would recommend

Julian provided a wonderful, personal dining experience! The ravioli with beef was EXCELLENT! It was a perfect dinner for our last night in Nice. Will definitely return if given the opportunity.

Went there for dinner on a Friday evening. Friendly service but a little bit pushy. We choose the 3-course menu and didn’t regret. The available options for starter, main and dessert should cover most preferences (if not, the a la carte menu should cater all needs). We enjoyed the food, in particular, the local cuisine dishes. It was not outstanding, but considering the pricing and location a fair deal.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Nice. It it situated on a very particular street with a lot of shops around but very special. The service was very correct and funny. The food is very tasty, especially the octopus salad is delicious and a huge portion. I really enjoyed the meal there.

Great little place. Calzone was excellent and the ravioli was outstanding. Server was very friendly. So glad we just wandered through old town and found this gem!

Just came across this place without knowing much. The reviews looked good so we decided to try. We were really pleased with our choice. They have alacarte menu which was surprisingly good. The fish soupe was excellent so was the fresh fish. Desert was equally good especially the choc. Mousse. Friendly and efficient service was a bonus. Great authentic atmosphere and decor is also appreciated.

Great, quality food and nice staff I come here every summer for last 5 years. The restaurant was recommended by my parents in law that are local here. The place has long history and tradition and it kept local charm and quality! And every summer I am happy here. Food is amazing and staff is nice. I usually take fish dish of the day or octopus. Can highly recommend! It is also nice that you get gratis little plate of olives and piece of local onion pizza to try. I already ate it so cannot post the photo. :) They serve great bread and olive oil. For me that is also important. Prices are reasonable and i just love the place. Today I had glass of wine and nicoisse salad. And it was amazing as always. Cheers!

Seating is nice, however we ordered 3 pizzas which all came completely undercooked, and i asked for the bill multiple times and till it finally came. There was also no second round of drinks as no one tended to our table after we ordered our food.
