The park itself is not so bad, but nothing worthy. We had unpleasant experience, they didn't allow to enter with a small children bag (we had a flight in Nice airport that is nearby), thought people entered with much bigger bags.

Worst experience I ever had. We had a flight in Nice airport, so decided to visit a park few hours before the flight. They didn’t allow to enter with a small children bag, though people entered with a big shopping bags, much bigger than ours. So we decided that my wife and child will go to the park and I’ll stay with a bag. I went to the ticket office to buy tickets, waited 10 minutes in a line and … they told to show a child. So I went back, took my wife and child with bags, we waited another 10 minutes in a line. I’ve tried to explain that I need just 1 adult ticket, since I’ll stay with a bag, but they didn’t understand much English, so they sell 2 adults tickets. Inside the park also not much interesting.

Brilliant day out, we had a picnic in the park, then walked around the gardens. There is only a few animals here but it is something different from the rest of Nice highly recommend with kids. 5 euro entry for adults and only a few minutes walk around from the Parc Phoenix tram stop.

Nice park in Nice. Don't expect a lot of animals, but it's perfect for a walk. Also the building with the jungle plants would be very interesting for someone who is interested in plants (I am not at all :) )

Amazing park to visit, many plants, some animals, nice views. For 3 euros for students it is definitely worth it. The otters are very cute, especially the small ones.

I went to this place in the summer of Covid 19. I was expecting a lot of animals, but I got to see few ones and I kinda liked it to be honest. It's a good place to visit in family as it has some few zoo animals and vegetation from various continents as long as a written or guided description of them. The place is big and there's a bar and toilets to softten your visit. There's also a parking place.

It felt a bit "wrong time" - some parts of the park were abandoned - not sure if because of the season (middle of summer) or lack of attention - but we saw plenty of non existing plants (where the name card was left but no item itself). Not so many animals as well. It's nice place to have a slow stroll but don't expect too much - it needs some maintenance. There were kangaroos, lemurs, porcupine, otters, domeaticated animals and some birds. There is a section with insects, snakes and crocodile. But you can't compare to any proper Zoo - neither because of numbers, or size, or educational programme. It is a park. With tree climbing zone, kids area and cafeteria. So, probably going there with kids would make much more sense.

Nice place to stroll through to see pretty flowers, plants, shrubs, and trees along with few animals. Very close to the airport and accessible by tram, restaurant on site and also a climbing park for both older and younger kids.

Wonderful Park with various lovely plants and lots of animals like turtles, ponies and tropical birds. The prices in my opinion are great for what you get and it was surprisingly empty on a Sunday so we could relax and take everything in without feeling rushed.

Erittäin laaja alueena ja varsinkin lapset erityisesti huomioitu.Helppo kulkuyhteys raitiovaunu 2 linjalla. Enempi kasvitarha upeine lammikoineen.Hyvin istumapaikkoja.

We we’re visiting in the Phoenix park with my family middle of April. Unfortunately the visiting was truly disappointment. Almost all the plants, flowers and animals wasn’t look good. There are some good services as several free toilets, one small cafeteria and some sort of picnic area. The place needs maintenance and some service before visiting can be enjoyable.

It’s a great park to visit and enjoy nature. There are a couple of picnic areas and even a park if you go with children. We were there an afternoon and we saw everything in about 1h15. Price wise, it is very reasonable! Regular entry tiquets cost 5.50€ and students pay only 3€. Nevertheless, the map is not updated (or not well done) so it’s best to just move around freely. There is a Pyramid at one end of park. There you can see all types of plants from humid regions, insects, reptiles, flamingos, carpas (fishes), turtles, and at least now there were no parrots/birds anymore. They even let you check through the window a couple of labs they have.

Always a good time in the Parc Phoenix! Great for a stroll, see all the nice plants and animals. Relaxing and really close to the airport. I like to go there by train, stop at Nice St- Augustin, the park is less than 5 minutes walk from there. The oriental museum/ exhibition adjoined to the parc is included inn the entry ticket. Well worth your time, both the parc and the museum.

A relatively small but vibrant park with a lovely selection of animal life to have a look and ponder at. The Peacock is particularly a character and will very happily approach you with tail out and shimmering!! We had an amazing hour or so wandering and enjoying the flora and fauna along with the animals & reptiles. A much recommended visit if your in the area!!!

Despite the fact, that we were in the park in January, we really liked it. As a lover of flowers and flora, I really enjoyed it and I recommend visiting the park, a really very peaceful place.

Lovely place, didn’t expect much for the entry price but could have spent the whole day there. I’d like to go back with a nice camera and spend the day taking pictures of the plants, animals, fish, birds etc. There’s so much to see. Highly recommend it.

It was good experience. The park has a few animal cages or pens with peacocks roaming free. The highlight is the greenhouse area with animals and lots of different flowers and plants. Kids are discounted.

Such a fun small park, right on the sea front. It has a bit of everything. Flora, fauna and a tropical plant house with flamingos. A cheap (5euro for adults) fun day for the whole family. Catering is a bit basic, but you can bring a picnic. Only the proximity to the airport is noisy, but you get used to it pretty quickly, as have the animals. The free oriental museum next door also is worth a visit.

Visited with a 3 year old this week. There were literally 4 staff in the entire place .. 2 at the entrance and 2 in the cafe. I found the lack of signposts or any obvious route to take very frustrating. As I expected from other reviews the animals were quite limited with most of them being outside in the area near the playground but the children’s playground is excellent and my 3 year old was entertained for a full 5 hours very easily . They also have an adventure park where the kids are on harnesses and climb a course in the trees which looks great for the older children. If you are stuck to entertain kids then it’s a useful Place but I wouldn’t make a huge effort to go there if you have other options

If there's a park right next to an airport, you expect as a tourist to have some place to store your luggage there, right? They don't even let you enter with your luggage if there isn't any place to store... And don't even bother calling them because they won't even answer. It was the last day on Nice wasted because I left the center of Nice (where my hotel was located) with the luggage because they didn't answered my calls and I really thought they were smart enough to have some storage there... Well, they're loss for business.

What a great place to get away from all the shops and buildings. Some lovely animals and reptiles hidden away here. All very well looked after. Nice to just sit relax and watch the Lemurs as well. Huge place

Not a bad way to spend a couple hours (especially if you have time to kill at the airport) but would have enjoyed the Parc more if the windows of the exhibits were cleaned and if there had been more exhibits (some were empty/shut down) I wouldn’t come here to see lots of animals but if you enjoy plants, there’s plenty and the greenhouse is pretty well maintained. Definitely aimed more for kids, I imagine most would have enjoyed it more than we did as adults!

Nice little park/zoo. The hot house is the highlight with a wide variety of flora. We were there early/mid April and it was quiet, and some animals were away from the main exhibit in breeding areas. Not a bad place for a few hours.

Lovely park with beautiful views. Good place for a quiet outing with the family. Lots of animals to see including tortoises, goats, porcupines and otters. I wouldn't call this a big zoo but there are a nice assortment of animals you and the kids will enjoy. The botanical gardens are a marvel to behold. Come with your camera's ready for some beautiful shots. There's a rest area to relax your feet and have a drink of something cool as well. There is also a picnic area with a playground for the kids. If you're going in summer try to plan your trip for the later part of the day as it is open and it gets quite sunny in Nice. Entry is five euros per person.children under 12 go free.

  • 5/5 Jasmine L. 3 years ago on Google
Great bargain for just 5€ entry per adult, kids under 12 are free. It’s a very big park with many areas to picnic. There’s a hand full of animals for the kids and an outdoor kids park. A lot of different plants and walking paths in the garden. It is a little hard to get a taxi or uber back to your hotel or destination from the park since it’s across the airport, no on wants to cross the highway to pick you up.

  • 5/5 Valentin M. 4 years ago on Google
Lovely place with plants and animals. I though it was small and we planned to spend no more than 1 hour. That is totally not enough. At the end we spend about 2 hours and we could even more. You can find many people chilling. They bring their own food and eat it among nature. There are many kids also. There are flamingos, kangaroos, marmosets and many many more. Have in mind it’s big, we did not see one huge part of it and were about to leave when we actually saw there is more. The price is very good. I think it was 5 euro. The only bad experience was when we tried to leave and they closed one of the entrances (where we entered from) and we did not know there is another exit on the opposite side of the park. We found several people from the staff to ask but they did not know English at all. When we were saying “exit” they were pointing to the closed one. At the end we looked at the map and saw another exit which we followed. As summary: great and pleasant experience.
