The inside is reasonably smart but the outside when lit up at night is better, as it really brings an atmosphere to the building. This has to be one of the largest churches in Nice, however it is more of a place of worshop that a tourist attraction. Well worth a short visit to look around to see some of the artwork and the statues. Quite well lit inside because of the large windows. Easy to sit for a few moments of quiet contemplation.

Splendid church located right in the heart of the city of Nice. The interior and ceiling design is worth a visit alone for the architectural asthetics.

2022.09.03 The walk in old Nice was first to the Basilique Notre Dame. Nice architecture. There was a service running. We did a short prayer and left.

Beautiful Gothic style Basilica. It's NOT the Cathedral of Nice - that is to the south. But it is definitely worth a visit.

The basilica is known for its beautiful architecture, which combines elements of Gothic and Neo-Gothic styles. The exterior of the building is adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures, while the interior features soaring ceilings, stained glass windows, and ornate decorations.

Pretty but small church. Looks like the real Notre Dame cathedral but is much smaller than the original one. Free entry and no queue are a plus.

Dream dream dream... Basilique Notre-Dame is more like a dream. The symbol of Paris. The symbol of great times. The symbol of Christianity. The symbol of beauty, great architecture. Simply magnificent, majestueuse, grandiose. Built when time and money were insignificant parameters compared to beauty

The Basilica of Notre-Dame de Nice is a Roman Catholic basilica situated on the Avenue Jean Médecin in the centre of Nice, in France. It is built in the Neo-Gothic architectural tradition.
