Such a beautiful view! It would be a shame to go there without going to the top. Castle ruins crown the mountain and it's a great place for pictures. There are also a couple of water falls and places to sit along the way up (perfect for those who need a break). It is a good bit of walking so make sure the people with you have the endurance for it. My 78 year old grandfather was able to make it to the top, so it is possible. Honestly one of my favorite places in the Rivera. I will say, it does cost 4€ to go up for adults and 3.50€ for students but it's definitely worth it!

We hiked up the Jardin exotique with a 2 year old and a super heavy 30lb 7 month old baby plus our stroller. It took us forever since the 2 year old took a long time to go up the stairs but the view was well worth it. The cactus and plants was nice and added to our gorgeous photos but the view up high was just unbeatable. The very top had the best view and there are benches where people can have food. Trash cans are abundant. Gorgeous probably 300 days out of the year. Hey, if a 2 year old can hike this, then any one can. Just keep going up up up. Little kids are free but they have to beep in with their free enfant ticket. Adults are 6 euros each. Cards accepted. Highly recommended.

BEAUTIFUL garden at the top of Ezé!!! Hiked to the top after stopping in at some shops along the way- and it was well worth it! The view of the sea was spectacular and breathtaking. It was honestly so stunning and one of our top moments of our trip! There is also a mini waterfall which was cute, however not big at all. Regardless, I highly recommend coming here during your stay on the French Riviera!

Go here for the amazing panoramic views on clear days! (See pics 📸) The gardens are average unless you are an avid botanist or interested for particular plant species available here. Entry fee is 6 euro per person.

Beautiful garden with beautiful view. We enjoyed strolling around. Definitely worth the visit if weather is good. Helps if one has a car to get there as it's a bit outside of Nice.

Amazing views of the sea and surrounding towns and cities you can see villafranche, nice airport, Cannes in the background and others. The garden itself is so beautiful and was great to look at all the cactuses it was very pretty. As with most of eze it has many steps and they do not allow pushchairs in but you can keep it at the ticket office.

What a breathtaking location!!! You hike throughout the village and reach this highest point of the village. The southern French coastline looks beautiful from the top of this beautiful botanical garden. You can get the tickets online or from the foot of the garden, otherwise you might need to stand in the queue at the entrance.

Le Jardin exotique is a great place to visit! You pay just 4€ per person for the entrance and then can enjoy (till 16:00) an amazing view and beautiful nature! The garden is not so big by itself, but a good thing - you will not be very tired after the visit (as usual happens in museums). Be ready to climb a little bit up by the stairs, so better to put comfortable shoes (sneakers). My visit was in March, so it was very comfortable weather - not hot.

An absolute must see. A truly stunning place with amazing views, full of specimens from around the world. Take your time to read the signage which is in both French and English. The massive Rubber tree (fiscus) blew me away, it was as big as a 150 year old oak tree!

This place is treasure! Stunning views, great shops and even cathedral where I was able to listen to great chorus. Me and my friends had really great fun. I had 4 euro ticket as I am student, for adult otherwise its 7 euros. Really good price compared to other places I have been

I have been to many botanical gardens in my life, but this one is really special how things are planted on the mountain side, having almost two separate gardens on each side, one cactus and the other of another kind, it's really worth the visit. The views from these gardens are also magnificent.

When you get to the city, probably by bus, and you start walking up the heavily inclined road, on the right there is a virtual kiosk that you can use to buy the tickets early if you don’t want to wait in line when you get to the entrance of the park after walking for probably 30 or more minutes. It was gorgeous! The trek up there was definitely worth it. Not only is the view beautiful, but it has many flora, sculptures, mini waterfalls, and historical info to look at. There is drinkable water on the other side of the castle when you follow the path down if you are low on water. The shops are very cute to look at, but are quite over priced, so beware of the trinkets that you see there.

Eze's botanical garden is a captivating hillside haven, thoughtfully arranged for a leisurely stroll through every corner. The enchanting view of the Mediterranean Sea and the Côte d’Azur from the hill adds a magical touch. Visiting in December offers the advantage of a serene atmosphere, with fewer visitors allowing you to savor the beauty of the surroundings without the usual crowds. A truly beautiful and tranquil spot for a memorable experience.

You MUST add this stunning garden to your bucket list when visiting. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The floral scents were unique and relaxing. It’s a bit of a walk up and around but I also travelled with some who have a bit of trouble on extensive walks and were able to enjoy this experience. Drink lots of water, carry with you. There’s some great dining areas along the way as well.

Highly recommend visiting this place. A local recommended it us and we were happily surprised. Great views with only a short walk, along with some history and quaint spots to eat in the area.

Such a wonderful surprise in such a tiny, yet beautiful village. Located deep within the town at the very top and just past two restaurants (Deli' and Le Nid d'Aigle), the Jardin Exotique is a pathed mountain top garden offering a variety of floral and fauna to stroll through, including decorative archways and waterfalls. It is well maintained and offers beautiful vistas of the surrounding countryside. Such a nice respite during busy days. Note we visited in early December so the crowds were negligible and the cost was only 4 Euro (instead of 7 in peak season). I would imagine that during summer time it is relatively crowded...but still worth the visit.

You get beautiful views from here. Just don’t bring a stroller. It’s steep in places and there’s a million steps. You can purchase tickets for the exotic garden at kiosks in the town and avoid the line up at the garden entrance.

For Americans, this garden is not exotic whatsoever (the plants are mostly succulents) but the view is amazing and worth the trip up. And it’s much less expensive than paying for the view at one of the exceptional nearby restaurants. Go around the Mediterranean Garden to see a nice little waterfall.

This is a beautiful garden on top of the mountain in the old castle. Beautiful sculptures. Fantastic views of the coast, islands and sea. A must go and do.

Stunning view and gorgeous plants. The layout of this garden is amazing, I’ve never seen anything like it. Very relaxing and pleasant, only downside is that it’s not very accessible for people with low mobility as there are stairs everywhere.

👍👍 Charming little village! Beautiful shops and views. You probably need just 2-3 hours there. Make sure to go to the top of the village and visit the botanical gardens for spectacular views. Also, wear comfortable shoes are the walk is steep and the cobblestones are uneven at times.

👍👍 A small yet beautiful church located in the middle of your journey to the top of Eze. You may go inside the church for free and enjoy the amazing interior of it. Also you can see the mountain view from around the church and there is a small cemetery nearby.
