Beautiful garden and house in the outskirts of Menton. Not the biggest but still lots of interesting plants, trees and flowers. A note though is that parking is quite limited in the high season.

Mid May. Thunder threatened skies. Lush subtropical plants bursting into flower. A wonderful garden just to admire and a botanical treasure chest for me. All neatly labelled and with informative signage that if you scan the QR code gives an audio English translation. Wonderfully impressive bamboo, palms and figs tower over flowering plants, many new to me. €7 entrance includes a little museum. And you can get hot and cold drinks too. Highly recommended.

Menton's botanical garden is a delightful family-friendly spot, perfect for quality time. The garden not only boasts scenic beauty but also practical amenities like well-marked paths, a convenient restroom, and a mini shop offering water and snacks. The friendly reception staff adds a welcoming touch, and with discounts for those under 23, it becomes an even more appealing destination. A solid five-star rating for this well-rounded facility.

Very nice botanical garden to see. Very good maintained. Entrance €7,00. You can follow the numbers to see the whole garden. Also they have an audio-tour. We visit this in the end of July and unfortunately the big lily pads weren’t that big.

Beautiful gardens which are a delight to explore. They also provide mosquito repellent - make use of it!

Not a large garden but still a nice and peaceful place to sit and soak in nature. A whole walk could take around 30mins if you follow the numbered stops. Visited on a Thursday after lunch and there were only 3-4 other visitors. A part of the main building was under renovation on 11 May. I don’t know when it will be completed but I think it’s best to visit when the reno is done so that you can admire the buildings in full. Ticket purchase was very easy as the friendly staff was able to speak english and there are English maps as well. It was very nice to see the mandarin and lemon trees. I also liked the cotton tree that is beside the lily pond and the different varieties on bamboos. Overall the garden is a nice pit stop if you have time to kill and there are nice lil photo areas, but the garden is also quite an elevated uphill climb of around 15mins 🤭

Magnificent garden with very friendly stuff at entery. We visited it in October and followed the path which was presented to us by stuff and it was beautiful experience. There is a lot of beautiful trees and flowers from all around the world. It's really close to the old part of the town by foot. You shouldn't miss visiting it when in Menton.

Very silent and beautiful place. The entry is paid (around 9 EUR), but it worth its price. You can find a lot of interesting plants and trees, a lot of benches across the path and calm places to relax and take your time

Delightful small garden with meandering discovery trails, showing exotic plants from around the globe, just above the waterside town of Menton. Ideal climate for many of these exotic plants. A cool and quiet respite from the lively town.

Beautiful garden 🪴 inside Menton. Well explained and sectioned. Closes a bit early imho and why not a fragrant flower section?

A nice botanical garden with lots of plants. I liked the pond with lotuses. It’s rather small, but worth visiting.

Great little gem. Perfect for a few hours walking with our kids (8,4 and 2). Very interesting piece on the history of citrus fruits

Beautiful garden, I particularly enjoyed the water lilies and the Menton lemon trees. I would recommend to bring insect repellant or were trousers as there are quite a few mosquitos.

Amazing garden. Small walk from the center. A nice tout. Will take you around 3 hours. Worth a visit. Then walk to the top of the village and enjoy the views.

Very beautiful garden with all sorts of plants! Worth a visit on sunny days!

This is more "botanical" than "garden" - lots of interesting plants with signs, but the walking areas between those were narrow, one area with a pond was nice to sit and enjoy a bit.

Walked from Menton! Fantastic views en route then this fascinating garden. Real Italian Americano coffee in the little cafe by the sea. We then walked on to Vintimille and trained back to Menton

Two visits to Val Rahmeh this year, a must when visiting Menton. Take your time and absorb all the information provided by the audio guide. I'd like to go back for a live guided tour next time. The guide book adds even more information about the plants collected from around the world. Don't miss this!

Nice spot to walk around. Recommend rent audio guide, and follow numbers. It helps a lot behind stories and details of plants. Visited july hot day. Apparently a lot of mosquitos. So don’t forget spray mosquito spray or any other prevention!!!
