I stayed here for 2 nights in Nov as a solo traveler, having booked on Agoda. The location was great - minutes walk from the tram (about 20 minutes from airport), old market and promenade. There are restaurants in the immediate vicinity, open late so your stomach is always taken care of. The hotel came with the usual amenities - it was very warm for Nov, such that I had to open the windows. The room was basic, functional and clean. The reception can be a little cranky occasionally, but was generally friendly. Recommended for good value.

A really good Hotel in the centre of Nice, so close to Place Massena and the seaside. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is very gentle and professional. Price is good. Private parking is small so you have to book it but is a really rare and good service!

Loved the location! Very close to Jean Medicin ave connecting with Galleries Lafayette. The receptionist allowed us to leave the backpacks in the hotel before room availability. Breakfast was OK, but the beds and shower were great!! And hotel architecture is way-too-awesome/to die for inside and outside!! Staff was amazing, sweet and made our staying a lot better!!

Stayed for 4 days with friends. Location is superb, 1 min from tram stop which is just 30 mins from airport on tram and costs 1 euro. So near old town, messina Square and main shopping street. Couldn't ask for more. Breakfast fine with plenty choice including fresh orange squeezer for juice. Breakfast room just a wee bit cramped but OK. Room serviced daily to high standard, very clean. Good value in a great location and finally Anna on reception is superb, perfect English and great local knowledge and service. Look for Anna if you need anything.

I meant to post this review a few months ago, but if you are looking for a quality hotel in a great location for a fair price I would recommend this hotel. The staff, service and location were great. I plan to visit Nice again and plan on staying there again.

Right next to Durandy metro/tram stop. Maids keen to do the basics around your room on a daily basis. We were room 108 - the room door had a door knob which came off in your hands when pulled, ha ha, the door itself was not totally secure as it never double-locked as the replacement lock fitted was a single 'Yale' key function linked to a short metal slat lock, which means the door could easily be forced through. The toilet roll holder was also fixed at a slant which meant the toilet paper fell off, and the toilet seat had no cover. The air extraction in the bathroom also never worked and the filter in the ceiling was caked in thick dust. The air conditioning was either broken or turned off in April. As the window opened inward and was covered by a net curtain, it kept closing when we wanted it open. TV had a good choice of local and foreign channels and bed was comfortable. Kettle and tea and coffee supplied, but more than two small long life milks need to be left on a daily basis. The included breakfast in the very small dining room was good, with a fair selection of meat, cheese, breads and vegetarian food, including a fresh orange juice maker. Friendly lady supervising breakfast service. There is supposed to be 24-hour 'bar service' from the reception desk, but there wasn't on one night we were there. A fair price for what we got over four nights there.

Amazing view from the 5th floor, with a balcony and plenty of sunlight! Very cheap for it’s quality!

The place is absolutely wonderful, the staff is friendly and the rooms look beautiful. I stayed at a normal 2bed room for one night and it was really comfortable. Then I stayed at the family room (with my family obviously) and we had so much space it was literally perfect. There are 2 small problems tho, there was mold in the shower and the heating didn't work which made it a bit cold at night. Other than that I recommend this place to everyone

Nice helpful staff and good location with walking distance to the old city, beach and the train station. The room was okey, but we did'nt like the brown carpet and it was a strong smell of mould under the bathroom cabinets.

This hotel was perfect! So close to the beach and rooms were great. We had an amazing room with a wrap around balcony on the 5th floor and LOVED it!

Me and my boyfriend stayed 3 nights here. The room was not sound isolated at all, so we heard neighbors fighting at night and it felt like they were in the room with us. Even when neighbors were showering we would hear the water dripping so clear that we would wake up, or when they were just coughing. Also the room we got was probably the smallest room at the hotel. Only thing provided in that room was a bed, 2 night tables and a little fridge. No chair and no place to put our luggage, so we would have to walk over our things and luggage to get to the bathroom. The toilet would not flush well, so were always alot of water/paper that would not drain, and you could se mold appearing around the bathtub. Overall, the location is good. Bed was comfortable. I wouldnt stay here again, for us, just hearing every conversation of our neighbors in the smallest hotel room I have ever slept in was not worth it. The staff was friendly tho.

Good price for the hotel! It was renovated recently and for the price I paid, I was satisfied. It was a three-star hotel but was way better than a four-star hotel that I hd in Barcelona. Hotel prices in Nice are higher than other cities and you cant necessarily compare them but this one was ok

Great hotel in central Nice. Well located, right in the middle of things. Pleasant and efficient staff. Nice decor - a great mix of a beautiful old building with modern decor inside. Rooms fairly small but very pleasant. No outdoor noise and not too much interior noise (apart from the ever-present noise of room doors closing - it's difficult to avoid!). Great breakfast choice. Would be very happy to recommend and will happily return.

Great location, friendly staff and hotel smells great. Breakfast was a nice and frenchy one. Its a real hotel that almost make you feel like you are staying in a 5star. So great price/performance.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Vendome which was in a perfect, central location. The room was comfortable and the staff was incredibly helpful and nice. July is very hot and humid in Nice and the a/c was top notch. We highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely place in a good location. The only downsides were that the comfortable bed was so big in the narrow (but spacious) room that I couldn't really get by it. So I went out to our wonderful balcony only through the glass door from the shower!

Visited with group of friends, 10 of us! Rooms perfect, family sized suited us well. Lovely fresh breakfast and location was perfect. Staff friendly & helpful both during our stay and beforehand- answering all questions promptly. So glad we were able to finally make it post Covid 19 and that the hotel allowed us to change our booking twice! Would highly recommend 👌

Very nice surprise for 3 stars! Hotel rooms are slightly old, but the rest is perfect. Everything was clean, AC was working excellent, bed is comfortable, overall place is stylish and romantic, so good choice for couples. People on Reception were very nice and helpful. And location is the best! You are in the city center and just 10 min walk to the beach

The hotel was OK. It is very boutique. You have a key that weighs 3 pounds that you need to use to get into your room. Our room had a downstairs and an upstairs. The room itself was OK, kind of warm but it was fine. Location was OK. A little walk to the beach but it was more than doable. Breakfast was so so. Not great, but not terrible. Staff was friendly. If you like boutique hotels this is for you.

The rooms really need updating. Room wasn't cleaned very well either, found an empty beer bottle on the side of the bed and an ant infestation. Iron or ironing board not in the room-if you want to iron you have to go in the very dodgy looking basement. Staff were very approachable though and the location was decent as very close to the main attractions.

Lot of painting and renovation going on, will be nice when complete. The WiFi was v poor, no signal in room, had to go in corridor or office reception area to get a signal. Helpful staff, good command of languages. Nice comfortable beds and clean newly refurbished room.

Great hotel. Spotlessly clean. Lovely staff. Perfect location. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Room 501 was spacious and had a great balcony to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine!

Location: 5 stars. 15 minutes walking distance from the train station, and 5-10 minutes to old town. Reception: 5 stars. Super friendly and put up with my terrible French very nicely. Room: 3 stars. Clean and updated, and slightly larger than I expected. I asked for a room with two queen beds, and got a room with two beds and two full bathrooms, in a loft apartment style. Space is “cozy” (read: cramped) but sufficient. Tall people would not be able to use these bathrooms, though. I’m 5’8” and I had to sit down to be able to use the shower... when standing in the bathroom, I kept accidentally hitting the ceiling. Beds are comfy, plenty of towels. Breakfast: no idea, but I’m not going to pay €14 per person for breakfast when there are hundreds of great cafes within a 10 minute walk. Instant coffee in rooms. Overall, very sufficient for one evening in Nice :)

Excellent hotel! Everything we needed was there. Our room had a corner balcony with amazing view, perfect for breakfasts or dinners. Room was very clean, bathroom big and comfortable. The staff was really nice, happy to assist with anything. Plus, the location is perfect close to any bus or tramway needed. I definitely recommend!
