Worst Hotel Ever We had booked the hotel for 5 nights but because of Air Traffic Strike our flight got cancelled so we had to change our plans. I was on my honeymoon and for me changing plan was already disappointing. In that I told them I’ll fly after 3 days please accept the change of dates and waiver our cancellation fees but the staff and manager is so pathetic that they could not help us out. They are very rude and disrespectful. I would suggest never ever book this hotel. It’s the worst place to stay

Lovely boutique hotel. The customer service provided by Roxanne was amazing, right away, she made us feel like we were at home. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are very clean and well made. The hotel is inviting and staff friendly. The location is midway and near tram as well as nice cafe across the street. The hotel was great for the price we paid.

We had a good stay at Locarno Hotel. It’s located close to the sea and to different restaurants and transport. Very clean and elegant place. The breakfast was good and with a variety of food. Good quality-price.

While staying at the Hotel Locarno for 1 month for 99 Euros per night, I discovered they were advertising a 27 Euro lower rate. The sewage smell in the "supposed" nicer room bathroom could not be corrected. The room phone did not work & neither the wifi most of the time. I was moved to a smaller room but no deduction for the room rate & the wifi was even less workable. The assistant manager did not believe me so he came to the room & saw the problem then blamed it on my iPhone which happened to work everywhere but the hotel where I needed it. The breakfast is truly gross with frozen breads & croissants, tasteless cheese, vending machine espresso, dry plastic tasting scrambled eggs & cooked mystery meat. I made a mistake by not demanding my money back (prepaid) & moving to a real French hotel with a real croissant & espresso o lait. I was also told my assistant manager that desk clerk had given me 20 minutes of her time. Really interesting & insulting. Lesson learned. Try out hotel for one night. NEVER pay for a month in advance. I still wonder why I had to pay more than they were advertised online while I was staying there & more than the last minute reservations or walkins. I was told by other women staying in Nice that it had to do with my gender & nationality!!! Hmmm......if this is so, it's not legal! I do not recommend this hotel. There are much nicer hotels & airbnbs closer to the downtown.

The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. I liked the breakfast very much as they have a good variety of food. The reception staff was very nice and always helpful. I also liked that the hotel is located close to the beach, to a good bakery, shops, supermarket, to a good restaurant and still pretty close to the city center too. The area also felt safe.

We are satisfied with everything. The staff is very kind and extremely helpful. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The size of the room is just right and the bed is extremely comfortable. They strive for cleanliness, they clean every day. The hotel's location and accessibility are excellent. I recommend the accommodation.

Very good service, staff very friendly, helpful. Enjoyable breakfast. All very clean. Maybe the rooms need a refresh for the furniture and in the bathroom. Close to the beach and old city center, bus and tram stations nearby. All in all good location for its position, service and staff.

Very good location and room for the money paid. The breakfast is decent. The only downside would be that the heat comes from AC, so if you want to have heat during the night, you have to ignore the noise of the AC, and the bathroom is pretty cold

We will chose Locarno next time! The location is perfect, 15 min by tram from the airport, near to the beach, to the old city, shopping area - and still quiet for good sleep. We loved breakfast. Rooms were clean, staff was super helpful and kind. Real value per good price! See you!

Great location, close to bus station and shops, restourants and markets. Beach is 200m far away. 9 station from airport ( 20 min). Great breakfast and coffie

Excellent location of the hotel, one minute from the beach, in a great neighborhood in the city center, quite peaceful environment at night considering that it is located in the center. I would especially like to mention the friendly staff at the reception. The gentlemen gave us a map of the city and directed us to all the best attractions in the city, and also recommended top restaurants. So far, I have not experienced this anywhere, and I have stayed in many hotels. That means a lot and is of great help! I am definitely coming back to Nice and to this hotel. Love from Croatia!

Nice hotel👍 Easy to reach from the airport by tram. Superb location, fine rooms and good cleaning. The staff was helpful and polite.

Enjoyed my stay, the room was spacious. Nice little touches in the room upon arrival. Breakfast was great, with a good variety. Excellent attention to detail, especially in the breakfast room with keeping it clean constantly. Perfect place for a relaxing stay that’s close by the sea. Really enjoyed the chalk board that was changed every morning. The staff were very friendly and kind. Sad to leave but will be back again.

Nice room, great location (very close to the beach) and the best and friendliest hotel staff I have had so far. They gave us so many good tips for Nice and the cities around Nice. We will be happy to come back again.

Great location, just one street behind the main promenade. Also the customer serivce from Roman, Pascal and the Mexican lady was excellent, so helpful and great to chat to. Does all the basics right. Value for money and does the job. Only complaint was a small shower but they have a shower downstairs behind reception which is good.

A lovely hotel with the most pleasant staff I have ever met. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the promenade Anglais and the tram route from the airport. The breakfast is wonderfully French,simple but fresh and delicious. The room was small but more than suitable. It was clean,comfortable and charming.

This hotel is superb! The staff is super nice and helpful, rooms are cozy, breakfast selection offers everything you need and every sight is within walking distance. Insane value for the price you pay. Truly recommend!

Great and fair-priced hotel, very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast included - it was good with a wide range. Rooms are pretty new renovated. Beds were a little bit too soft for my taste, but that's personal preferences. The location is absolutely great. Just 5min walk to the beach or the tram. Just about a 20 min walk to the city centre. Rooms were cleaned up every day, towels also changed daily. I can only recommend this place.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Locarno and enjoyed every minute. The staff were amazing I just cannnot praise them enough. Nothing was too much trouble and I was always greeted with a smile and kind word and help when I needed even through the strange times they coped very efficiently with the situation. The breakfasts were excellent too absolutely no complaints at all. I stayed in a superior double room which was nice and spacious and I really cannot wait to return hopefully in a couple of months Once again thank you for making my stay with you so memorable. A very pleasant stay in Hotel Locarno, the location is gold and only 5 mins walk to the beach, close to bus and tramway stops for public transport. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in every way and the breakfast was very good and fresh. Word of advice: if you are a light sleeper or really need quietness, definitely ask for a quiet room off the main street. It can be quite noisy at night with the motorists and busses in the room we stayed, however the big windows with sea view was worth the tradeoff. I think the hotel will still continue to renovate the rooms, so I'd suggest to install more soundproofing windows in the street side rooms.

Me and my mom stayed at Hotel Locarno for 3 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. At our arrival, the receptionist upgraded us to a room with access to the terrace, which was very kind of him. Breakfast wasn’t included in our booking, but during our stay at the hotel they offered us to join the breakfast for free, which was very nice as well. The rooms are a bit small, but are conveniently decorated with everything you need. The location of the hotel was also good, with a tramstop closeby and within a 5 minute walk we were standing on the Promenade. We will definitely come back here in the future, until next time!

Excellent hotel on a beautiful location 5 minutes walking distance from the beach! The rooms are very spacious and clean, the staff is helpful and really hospitable. Unfortunately I got sick during my stay and had to book a extra night, the reception made sure I got the very next room and allowed me to stay in my room! Definitely 5 stars!

Nothing to complain really, staff were very very friendly and nice, breakfast was good enough, our room was very clean and tidy. The only reason to not give a five star is the poorly maintained apartment across the street which had a direct view to our room and we did not feel very comfortable to seat in the balcony or keep the curtains open. Anyways I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

We found the staff at the Hotel Locarno very helpful and friendly particularly Alexandria. Breakfast was as very good with a great selection and set us up for the busy days ahead walking throughout Nice and nearby Monaco. I would happily recommend the Hotel Locarno to anyone looking for a great place to stay for a few days in Nice.
