I have mixed impressions… we had 1 bedroom apartment and it needs serious renovation. You can see this on photos. Kitchen in 1 bedroom apartment has no storage space at all, even no place to put kettle or coffeemaker. At the same time the kitchen was equipped very well with all necessary to prepare meal. But you have no space there to put even 1 box of pasta :) Mattresses and pillows were also comfortable, linens were fresh. And sea view was amazing. We have been there in January, out of season, and the price was more or less ok, but during the season this apartment costs 300-350 euro per night which is overpriced for such a worn-out apartment.

Good location, close to the beach, we were initially offered a room, which did not have a functioning sofa bed and looked really worn out, after talking to a receptionist were offered a better room upstairs. The view from the top terrace is magnificent, receptionists are great always smiling and welcoming. There a is a bad odour coming out from the bathroom or toilet, if the airco left on the whole day, so the room needs refurbishment and fixing of the odour/airco.

Very good location and friendly receptionists, although there's a lot of room for improvement regarding the aparthotel. I was shocked when told that losing the key card meant having to pay 25 euros (and 40 euros for the parking card). Why not use the same system as most hotels with regular key cards? Besides, having the apartment number printed on the card is, to a certain extent, a security breach. The parking arrangement should also be reconsidered: the hotel uses a hospital parking nearby, but to be let in you need to push a button, speak to someone and provide them with your parking card number... Good luck if communication starts breaking up and your French is not perfect! The instructions I was given at the hotel reception had omitted a couple of steps, so parking the car involved mistakes, reattempts and an insult. The apartment was very comfortable although the building in general shows clear signs of needing renovation. Breakfast was "OK". It started at 7:00, but the scrambled eggs usually arrived no earlier than 7:45. Think twice before you pay for a stay including breakfast, considering you'll have a kitchen. The complimentary wi-fi service was kind of slow, but I managed to get some work done with a little patience. The air conditioning was definitely not working well even: I usually entered a cool apartment but eventually needed it to be cooler. And, finally, it broke down in the whole building 2 days before my departure, with the hotel not being able to get a technician or engineer soon enough to guarantee the comfort of its guests. With temperatures over 30°C at the end of August, it was almost a nightmare. I was under the impression that there was an overall lack of staff to make sure that the hotel in general was clean and the guests well attended to. The rooftop looked wonderful in the advertisement photos but the reality was very different: neglected, with toilets unattended. Considering the lack of a swimming pool, I wonder if this hotel deserves the 4 stars it claims to have. I will keep staying at Adagio Aparthotels, but will keep an eye on these issues.

Nicely appointed, very affordable apartments with balconies right on the promenade facing the sea. It's a little away from the action, but the bus runs right out front and the tram is a block out back. My only complaint would be that the photos imply the hotel has beach loungers, umbrellas and access. It does not and doesn't have an agreement with any nearby hotels or restaurants that do.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a studio with water view. Huge terrace. The studio was very spacious, if a little strangely laid out. Building and rooms are showing some wear but nothing serious. Location was perfect for us. Well away from the crush near old Nice but a short tram ride from most places people want to go. Steps away from the "beach". Would definitely stay there again

Awful place to stay. Dirty, run down, depressing. Have stayed in Nice every year for 10 years. Always amazing. This is not. Very noisy staying at back of hotel. City view...building site. Trams and roads. Staff are rude. Women on reception laughed at us. Have stayed at other Adagio hotels around Europe and they were great. Do not stay here! If you have any pride in your business, Adagio. Close this mess of a hotel.

Had the misfortune of staying here recently and utterly disappointed. We paid for 3 rooms with 2 double beds in each...specifically paid extra for beds and not couch pullouts. When we got there, we were told they have no such thing. Turns out this was a general theme with most people checking in. The lady at the check in was rude and when we showed the booking she went to get the manager. The manager was the furthest thing from being friendly or being helpful of the situation. The place is dated, the furniture is old as well. Only positive was the 1 gentlemen who was at the reception. After spending some time in the lobby, it was evident a lot of customers were scammed into thinking they have 2 double beds in rooms, among other issues.

The hotels main attraction ,for us, was the sun loungers on the 9th level roof. The hotel was well serviced by the tram system and on the Promenade de Anglais. Near enough to the town centre but far enough out to be quiet. All the staff we met were friendly and very efficient. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Great location and staff very pleasant and helpful. However the room was pretty run down and depressing to stay in. Smelled musty and stale when entering. Cheap plastic table and chairs on balcony. Bed was comfy and sheets clean. Was the most expensive hotel we stayed in in our whole trip through France, Italy and Germany and also the worst one we stayed in. Would not stay again unfortunately.

For the amount of money we were paying we got a lousy apartment (see attached pics) that was in questionable condition. Also the layout of the apartment was awful. A lot of square meters wasted by a long dark hallway. Parking was not available and we had to stay in a nearby garage which was super expensive. The staff was friendly, though.

Kindly recomanded for visit Nice. Close to the tram station and stores, on the shore, clean, nice furniture. Lovely!

The location is excellent, but the hotel is outdated. The sofa beds were not prepared, even though I announced in advance that we needed the beds for five people. We had to do it by ourselves late the night when we arrived. The staff is kind and helpful. It is good to have the possibility to leave the luggage on the day of check out in the hotel if needed. The kitchen is small but ok for the preparation of simple meals. Close to the hotel, there is a pastry shop and food shop. (at the Fabron tram station) The location is convenient for access to the airport.

Price is very good for an apartment right on the sea front. We asked for a sea view and it was like having a huge TV. So much to watch and planes coming and going too. Be advised, Its a good 35-45 minute walk along the promenade to the old town /busy part of Nice. The front of the hotel has 5 or 6 lanes of traffic going past, 2 lanes with bikes and scooters then there's the 'pavement'. Behind the hotel is the tram line and the shops incl 2 good supermarkets and 4 excellent bakers within 5 mins walk. All excellent and really fresh food! Only 2 problems...1. The air con didn't work so we opened the patio doors which cooled the place down but was mega noisy and 2. We had twin beds in the bedroom for the kids and husband and I were in the living room...but there was no curtains, just a net. Kitchen worked well.. Combi microwave, hob, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker and lots of cutlery, plates and glasses. Also an excellent roof terrace which was very sheltered. Would I stay there again...absolutely yes!

Anna, Jed and Nour were extremely helpful. Also some of the other staff we met. We mainly were in contact with Anna, Jed and Nour. However for the cost of a room per night it was atrocious. The first room had a cracked stove hob. The horrible smell in the bathroom was blocked drains and we had to complain many times for this to be resolved. At first they did not accept it was the drains, however we could smell this was the case and the second room we moved to also had this problem. We even spent money on buy products to resolve the smell but it idid not help as it needed more than putting a liquid in the bathroom sink, to unblock the and clean the drains. The brochure is very misleading and by looking at this, we expected a luxurious apartment with all mod cones. The actual apartments are in diar need of updating, some of the fittings were loose in bathroom and this had to be sorted on our first day. It was non stop issues, eventually we moved to another room after weeks of problems. We noticed that some of the rooms did not even have smoke alarms which is illegal. We were so disappointed and realize that the person/persons in charge just do the minimum to keep the place going. They take advantage of the location and get away with charging a fortune which does not refelct the bad conditions and facilities of the apartments we are paying for in any way. On a positive note, please note the staff were amenable as already said. Jed was exceptional in his kind and helpful manner, he would go over and above to help us in any way, with information on Nice, recommendations to good places etc. Nour is very kind and helpful as well. Such a shame a a lovely position overlooking the sea and palm trees. Our rescue dogs loved running on the beach every morning in the sunshine. Due to this we will not return here, unless they make positive changes to the apartments.

A nice stay on the sea front in Nice. Staff friendly & helpful & breakfast was good. The apartment was roomy & comfortable, but had no tea or coffee, which surprised us a bit. The view from the balcony was wonderful!

From 0:00 to 4:30 in the morning you hear the cars only, but in rest, if your room is on the tram side, due to poor sound isolation, you'll basically sleep with the tram. In rest, the breakfast is decent, nice coffee, french bakery, some sweets, yogurt, eggs, etc. There is someone at the reception until late and the people are very kind.

A lot of the staff wasn’t very friendly. The lady at the front desk upon arrival was particularly unfriendly and unhelpful, very passive aggressive. She was telling me to make a bunch of payments with no explanation of what they were for, one of them being a deposit that I was meant to get back after my stay. When I made the booking it clearly said no deposit needed. Yet I was told to make that deposit payment, I was told I had to have payed the first full night upfront when booking (there was nowhere online for me to do that?) and then they said to pay the entire stay’s payment upfront at checkin. Very confusing and staff wasn’t very helpful or understanding or willing to communicate kindly without seeming frustrated at me for wanting more information before paying. They took a while before returning the deposit after my stay. Other than unfriendly staff, there were some issues with basic cleanliness and hygiene in the rooms. The toilet doors and walls had brown stains on them. Absolutely disgusting. Good location though, that’s the only decent thing about this place.

We had an excellent vacation at the hotel. The staff was very nice, they gave us very good tips about nice. The apartment was ok, I will recommend you to take the apartment with view to the sea as the views to the back are not very nice. It's just in front of the pebbles beach, bring water shoes for it.

Internet is slow and unstable. Worst of all no english tv channels at all. I have stayed here many times over the past 15 years and had good internet and CNBC and CNN tv channels but that is no longer the case. I will look for something on AirB&B next trip to Nice.

Great location for the beach... but a bit of a walk into Nice - but you can get a tram (2) or a bus (12) - (10€ for 10 trips - including to & from the airport - bargin). Would stay again- staff really helpful. Rooms are a little tired- could do with a little TLC. Fab views from front rooms. Great city

Apartment hotel. Moderately priced but very well placed for Promenade des Anglais and sea front. But of a walk into Nice but team stop nearby. Accommodation has what you need but not best quality. Roof top terrace provides superb views. Only 3k from the airport.

My stay was very bad. There are three points: First, he did not inform in advance that there is no cleaning service, there is no one to replace the towels, and the garbage needs to be thrown away by himself. Second, the attitude of a middle-aged woman at the front desk was very bad, and she even scolded and shouted at us on the phone. When we confirmed that the hotel was not in a tight housing situation today and told the front desk that we wanted to check out a little later because of the plane in the afternoon, the front desk agreed, but still said that we would have to charge a deposit of 40 euros for late check-out, and called us to abuse and yell at us before we checked out, with a very bad attitude. The third is that if it is not a parent-child room of more than four people, please do not book this one, because the double room is very small, and the facilities are very poor, if you want to look at the sea, you have to add money, otherwise it will be against the noisy road. In short, the experience is very poor, not recommended. Nice is beautiful, the sea is beautiful, if you want to perfect the experience please do not book this hotel, otherwise you will be angry in the middle or end want to swear.

The aparthotel is well located, short walk from the lively part of the Promenade, tram right behind the building so easy access anywhere, including the airport. Beach just across the street, supermarket, restaurants in a few minutes walk. My room was a tiny bit noisy from the tram, but I`d imagine the Promenade facing rooms are quiet and come with sea view. The apartment is spacious, clean, comes with a balcony and a shiny bathroom with a tub. I have to highlight the friendly welcome from Jerome at the reception, he was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Much recommended!
