Positive: very nice staff (especially the night shift reception), good room size, decent breakfast, clean parking lot in a walking distance (although a bit expensive), more or less close to the old town. Negative: Here there's no possibility of having a double bed. Instead you will get two single beds joined and with wheels underneath them which results in the beds moving all the time! Besides, the pool area is a bit old with not enough facilities (sunbeds and umbrellas). Service at the pool quite lengthy (never got my drink sooner that half an hour) And the worst, my room had not been cleaned for the first day. In fact the room had not been touched at all. First I thought this was a hotel routine, but then when I checked with my other friends who were staying at two different other rooms, it turned out that the only room which was not cleaned was our room. This is funny because not only I had not hanged any "do not disturb", "do not clean" or any other similar signs behind the door, but also I did totally the opposite and hanged the "please make the room" sign behind the door! Of course I informed the reception and also emailed the hotel about the problem. Did I get any response, or even a simple apology?! You wish!

Great hotel, situated perfectly in Nice city centre near the Garibaldi area with buses and trams a 5 min walk away. Staff on hand to check you in and assist in English or French and bags can be held at reception on day of departure. A breakfast buffet is available serving juices, pastries and fruits as well as a restaurant during the evening serving French cuisine and a rooftop bar during the summer serving cocktails and running a barbecue. Would definitely recommend.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed a whole week for business, their good prices with breakfast included were a game changer. No waiting for room cleaning. Fresh food. Modern rooms. The neighborhood is ok, not the best, not the worst. Walking to downtown or the old town is a reasonable distance.

Everything you need from a city hotel.. very convenient to the old town and promenade .. we walked everywhere .. pool is lovely - small but nice .. lovely to have a drink in the rooftop bar! Staff friendly, good size hotel rooms

We got caught up in French industrial action and we simply would not have made our return flight home if it were not for his help and considerable resourcefulness!

Really nice experience at NH Nice. I would like to thank Johann at the reception for being very nice and helpful and also for speaking in Spanish with me during our stay. Great room and perfect bed as usual. Very well located hotel, close to all the main points and also close to the train station to go to Monaco for a day trip. We will be back!!

This hotel is the ideal Eastern gateway to Nice as you approach from the motorway from Italy -- 10 min walk to the center and the museums. Safe private parking (recommended in Nice!) at a reasonable price, although 5 min walk away from the hotel and a bit complicated to use. Friendly, helpful staff.

Loved the stay with my wonderful cousin for a girls trip. Super attentive staff, nice and flexible receptionist. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, it’s a good stay for business and pleasure. Agree with all positive points made in the other reviews, highly recommended ⭐️

Nice clean room but unfortunately some of my belongings went missing along with a bag full of souvenirs meant for friends and family. Staff denied accusations that it was house keeping but followed up with me after. An unfortunate way to end my trip to France

Great Hotel! It offers you the chance to visit the city simply by walk. Amazing staff and experience, during check in they offered me a free upgrade to a junior suite. Big thanks to the breakfast staff, great people and great products served via buffet.

I stayed for three nights in late January and was very pleased with how pleasant all the staff were. The morning buffet was superb and the dining room supervisor was a delight (can’t remember his name but so recall he moved to Nice from Lyon). He kept everything clean, orderly, and also very pleasant. Plus the buffet choices were excellent. I miss my morning espressos!

The staff is very nice and very quick in action. Our first room smelled like smoke but as soon as escalated we were moved to a better room. The breakfast is very good and the Chef is very friendly. The room service works every now and then though and the restaurant closes early so plan to go have dinner outside of hotel. Very accessible from the Tramway and 5-10min to city center.

When staying in Nice one should definitely book at NH Nice! Not only for its ideal location (close to Garibaldi square and only 3 stops (tramway 1) from the old town) but also for its: - clean and modern room, with comfortable bed, perfect pillows, nice bathroom facilities (soap, conditioner, shampoo, body lotion, good blowdryer and soft towels - very good breakfast with a wide choice of fresh fruit, pies, vegetables, cheese, ... and great coffee ☕️ - friendly staff and a manager who actively participates in the operations, and who makes you feel welcome and taken care of - thank you Titi! 🙏 - a loungy and cool rooftop pool & bar/restaurant in "Duvel"(Belgian beer 🍺) theme, which makes it an original and fun environment to chill and enjoy the spectacular view 🌄

A classic NH hotel. Overall service could be a little better and more professional. The location is good with very close access to a tram station and open spaces.

We checked in the NH hotel Nice after reading great reviews online but were rather disappointed by our stay. + The location is very convenient, 2min walk to the tram station from where you can get to the centre/beach in 10mins. The hotel has a nice pool, bar and restaurant on the rooftop. (Just to note, smoking, drinking or eating is not allowed by the pool as well as reserving the sunbeds with a towel etc.) - There is a very strong musty smell as soon as you enter the reception which is not a great first impression (not the first mention of this in the reviews). The smell remained there for the whole 3 days we stayed there. We arrived to the hotel at midnight after a rather long flight to find our room dirty/not properly-deep cleaned. There was packaging from menstrual pads lying on the floor, the bin still had trash inside and the bathroom had hair in the shower. The staff was quick to help and we managed to exchange rooms, however, the room we got was not the one we had initially booked - it was a twin double bed and a joined room so we could hear every noise from the joined room nextdoor. The bathroom had a missing glass and the shampoo holder was broken. The shampoo/shower gels were half empty as well. At that point we didn't want to keep exchanging rooms as it was past midnight and we were tired from the journey. The windows in the hotel are brown tinted which makes the hotel seem very dark. The lighting isn't great either, our room only had 1 light in the hall and 2 lamps by the bed, there was no 'main light' in the bedroom area so the room appeared very dark overall. The bathroom also did not really provide any vanity kits etc, which is fine, but also something I would expect from a 4* hotel. The wifi didn't work well. In the middle of the entrance to the pool there is a water tap that always keeps the entrance flooded. All in all, would not recommend this hotel for longer stays. We wouldn't come back here next time we are in Nice.

This is the ideal spot for a short stay in Nice! Not too far from the old town with a perfect price\quality. With the tram you're at the beach in 5min, on foot max 15min. We couldn't go to the swimming pool because it is closed in November. But the view from up there is wonderful. We'll be back in summer!!

NH Nice, what a NICE hotel ;) Great, delicious food & cocktails @ the rooftop. Great breakfast, with a lot of choice. Close to the center and friendly staff! If you go to Nice, choose NH Nice :D

A hotel that is down as 4 star but I think it is 5 star. The rooms are superbly clean and cool and facilities are good as well. The hotel has a choice of breakfast, there is a small fitness suite that also has a sauna. On the top floor, there is a pool and a bar. The staff are professional and my experience here was excellent. Highly recommended if you are in Nice.

Lovely hotel. An incredible rooftop with a good bar and nice view to the mountains, the pool is small but functional. The only bad thing is that there is no service after 10pm.

Great hotel to base yourself when in Nice. The rooftop pool and bar are an added bonus. The location is ideal for the Nice Riquier train station to take you along the coastal line to nearby villages and Monaco. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to Nice. Staff were very helpful sorting out our itinerary and luggage storage.

best service we received in france trip. my daughter forget her teddy bear in the room, they found and kept it and shipped it to one of our hotels en route!!! great location( 2min walk to tram). very good breakfast starts from 7am, good for the travellers still jet lagged. breakfast has wide range of choices of hot/cold food, meat or veg… they can make omelette for you too :) room is good size and clean, newish and all the material used are high quality. will come again if we visit nice in the future.

Good hotel, the rooms are spacious, modern and well maintained. Stuff was really friendly and kind! Breakfast was very good too. The reception could be more clean and new, same as pool and restaurant on the food top, it need some maintenance. The neighborhood is not the best, but it’s ok, good walking distance to city center.

The hotel NH is in a very good location within walking distance from the city centre and the beach. It's got good size room well equipped with good wifi. The staff are superb very friendly and helpful. Good sports facilities including the swimming pool. The price for the breakfast is slightly on expensive side, but it's optional.

This was the First Time i ever left a Hotel before check out, the rezeptionist was a complete desaster, unfriendly, rude. Not recommond. I dont know why the Hotel has such horrable stuff
